Sports Media: once upon a time it was mostly about facts, players' skillsets and teams' game-winning strategies. now it's a massive business, and most of these so-called "takes" - hot or not - are about causing viral bumps in social media, and filling up banks accounts with fat contracts. this is the modern NBA clown show: think SNL but with zero humor & rants that are loosely related to the NBA. many of the NBA-focused youtube podcasts are more interesting and f*** less with the facts of basketball. it sucks, but we have options! .:. ps. after asking that question, i remembered that the GSW went 73-9 in their record-breaking 2015-16 season, only just topping the 72-10 of the 1995-96 Bulls. so that's at least 2 teams who did a lot better than the Cs against the opposing conference. my bad ... it might be a franchise record.
