So earlier last year, Ryan said on his Twitter that FFAK was taking a break on albums and was going to do a few experimental singles and EPs to help get the creativity back in their process. So expect some things that don't feel FFAK for a while.
I don't usually comment but I really appreciate Johnny giving his HONEST opinion. Personally I loved it, and I'm not usually into the more melodic stuff from them. Chorus slaps and I love this simple formula.
I actually really enjoyed this song. I’m always impressed when bands like FFAK can blend sub genres. I feel like the variety in a live show would be so interesting to experience.
Nice reaction and discussion a always, despite literally everybody’s opinion in the comments I’m totally respecting ffak for trying out something new. And the song is really great if you don’t expect a ‚the hell we create‘-song
It’s not gonna crack my top 5 FFAK songs and I wasn’t a huge fan after the first listen, but after going back and revisiting it a couple times, I can’t stop listening to it now 🤘🏻
I'd agree with the Stadium rock thing. This, feels to me, like they are aiming toward radio play. There was no way "Reaper" or "God of fire" was gonna make radio. This one has the potential too, because of all the layers and singing. Just my take, but, I also do like the song and it's different from the FFAK that we all know. Cheers, Gents.
It’s interesting that the band are just gonna do singles in different styles to see what fans like most all year instead of doing the thing fans have been actually asking them to do which is drop Drew Fulk as a songwriter and just have him produce their music lol
Have you guys listened to Pendulum's new song Mercy Killing? It's probably the best song they've released in years!!! Collab with Scarlxrd (screamy rapper)
Not my favorite song by FFAK. That said, I just saw them at the first show of the second leg of the Metalcore Droupouts Tour in Kansas City. They debuted this song for the first time live amongst an overall heavy setlist, and the response was honestly surprising. Most of the crowd already knew the lyrics to the song, to the point I could hear them equal to the band. This was four days after the song was released. Absolutely impressed with the band, and even more impressed with the love the fan base gave them.
I agree it’s an awesome catchy song. To me the clean vocals gave a bit of nostalgia. Not sure how to explain that. Almost like let’s give a little taste of everything. But overall I’m not worried that they’re going to deliver on a new album. The Path is my least favorite album and it’s even good.
Nath if I took off my subscription and pressed the bottom again and wrote to you, can I receive the picture? 😂 I liked but not loved the beginning yet, after your first pause I got and started enjoying a lot this new single but there's no doubt they are great! I hope you didn't post cause you were busy in a good way and not sick or similar. Bbyyyeeee
I appreciate the honesty, and the respectful conversation while you two are discussing it. I agree that this isn't their best. I do enjoy their music but this was just meh.
I love FFAK, but I don't like this song as much for some reason. It just doesn't strike me the right way, I'm not sure exactly what it is. I disagree with Johnny, I think Creation/Destruction was FFAK's best album. Don't get me wrong, I liked the last album, but it wasn't as good IMO. I think some of the new stuff is just a little too overproduced, Creation/Destruction has a rawness to it that I don't think has been matched.
Disappointed in the song. When Everything Means Nothing is softer but craps all over this song. This wasn’t emotional, heavy, or riffy. It seemed very bland. Still love FFAK but not my favorite by a long shot
No disrespect to these guys, as they're talented and have made some good stuff in the past but this song is just the definition of generic. Heard this song a thousand times since like 2005 by a thousand different bands

Waiting for the deathcore album
That chorus 👌
I loved that Johnny actually gave his honest opinion! Don't pull any punches, I like hearing yalls opinions that aren't sugarcoated.
honestly one of the more experimental and interesting songs from them. i honestly loved it
Grats on 90k Boys! Happy to be a small part of that big number :D
Enjoyed that quite a bit as well.
Thanks a ton!

Seeing them live tomorrow. Can’t wait
It is no secret that I absolutely enjoyed that!

Great song. This and the new Landmarks song is ooooooo so good
Slave to Nothing is my fave FFAK.
Welcome back gents! 🤘🏽

Agree 100% with Johnny on this one! So it'll be interesting to see what else they come up with this year. Great discussion though gents, as always 😊

Haha thank you legend
i love FFAK but this one was a respectful dud

Also this reminds me of the newer devil wears Prada stuff
Tdwp vibes
I really wish Trey would have stayed a full time member of Invent Animate. I love his drumming style, just not a big FFAK fan.
More like Fit for My Eardrums am I right? 😂
You need to check/react on "AVRALIZE - LOTUS", they are new to the game and only have 5 songs yet. Arising Empire Band
Reminds me of We Came As Romans
Doesn’t it! I said the same thing today
3:39 that killed me lmao

Those cleans into screams with the synth sounds coming through.... getting a little bit of I See Stars kinda vibes.
Please react Jiluka - Venom
I didn’t subscribe from
This video, I’ve been subscribed for years but can I have a photo of Johnny still 😂😂
You know where to go

You said tuck looks like pitbull but my first thought was Andrew Tate 😂😂😂

Same. Don't dislike it, just not sure how much I'll come back to it.
Reacction wrath from bury tomorrow
Sounded a but generic to me 🤷🏼♂️, maybe it grows in me in the future
Can i unsubscribe and resubscribe to get a personalized photo of Johnny?😂
Why would you do that to yourself?
Cause who wouldn't want a photo of Johnny?! He's my spirit animal

Not a fan of this one. Breakdown felt like a recycled version of the other side. The rest was pretty generic.
