After a few people request I have upload the full video that shows the process to make from start to end an interior Kitchen image using 3ds max and photosop. This was a real project so you will see some changes that the client asked for the proyect. The entire project took 5 working hours, but this hours was split in a couple of days. This video was recorded meanwhile I was working but some rendering times was trimmed to reduce the video length.
    Hope you like it.

If only I had the time and money to be this good :(
I have 3ds max for free by being a student but I have no time to learn along with all the other things I'm doing. Great work.

That´s exactly what a "Making of" mean, and for some users, this kind of videos are useful to understand how develop a complete project from start to end, instead to manage an especific tool. I think the "hey, look what I can do" is the fast forward version of this video. BTW, hope you can learn something from this video. Good luck.

Thanks for your comment, this making of was done with the main intention to share a workflow, I didn´t have the purpose to make a full tutorial and that´s why it doesn´t have annotations, commentaries, captions at all, but I really apreciate that this full version has been helpful to you and other artist. Remember to subscribe to my channel to keep updated with my new tutorials. Good luck.

This project was a making of for a basic project that anyone could follow no matter which software he use... I think the complexity is quite low because the modeling tools used are quite simple and the lighting setup is very basic too. I hope you find something usefull in this video, if not, is because your knowledge are good enough to follow projects more complex. Regards, from Colombia.

Hi, this material is an arch&design material and you can make this 3d effect using a map into the "Bump" channel. this map should be a black and white image that give a subtle 3d effect to the material.

:D I has followed Blender some years ago and I couldn´t learned as much as I wanted, so I let it go and I kept using 3ds max, but I must recognize that Blender has a lot of very cool tools today and doesn´t have anything to envy to 3ds max or maya, so if you know how to use it and where the tools are, you could transfer some steps of this workflow to Blender and make exactly the same. Good luck!!

:D thanks for your comment, you are right, this video is quite boring without commentaries, but this video was done with other purpose, I mean, I recorded this video to make a "fast forward video" or "timelapse video" (you can see on my other videos), but when I published this one, some people asked me to put the complete version, so I decide to publish as is ( without sound) because I didnt think about the comments at the beggining. btw, I am thinking to make a new one with commentaries soon.

This was the main idea, I didn´t have the time to make a full explanatory tutorial, but I think this could be usefull to anyone who wants to begin a project like this. And like you can see in the video is not a complex task to make this kind of scenes, so thanks again for your comment, I hope that you has learned something new and don´t forget to "like" the video and subscribe to my channel to see more tutorials. I think this was done in 3ds max 2011, but wich are the main differences between this 3ds max and yours? maybe you are using the 3ds max design (the interface is brighter than this one). The another thing that you could not find in this version is the "Ribbon bar", this is a white bar located on top of the viewport, but I had hidden it to gain more space...hope this has been usefull. And if you have any other doubt feel free to ask.

well, like I told you. I don´t know anybody who uses nurbs these days, but I think Npowersoftwaredotcom looks very good or you should try to work on other sofware like Rhino which is specialized in nurbs and then export to 3ds max for other task... I have worked before with clients who works on rhino and then I import all the information inside 3ds max to lightning, materials and other stuffs.

Sorry for that, but this video wasn´t a tutorial at first, this was made (originally) like a "making of" just to show a complete workflow in fast speed.. but some viewers asked me if I could upload the complete "making of" in real speed to follow it, so I uploaded as it was. BTW, I tryed to put commentaries after but this video is very long and took me a lot of time, so in my future "making off" I will take this into account, so don´t forget to subscribe to my channel to keep updated. :D is a shame that 3ds max crash so easily, but the nurbs are one of those tools that 3ds max only have for compatility purposes.. I mean, the Nurbs in 3ds max are not to popular and I don´t know anybody who use it in a comercial way, so try to avoid it´s use or if you have to. I recomend you to use Maya instead 3ds max or use some plugin like power nurbs, because the native nurbs, are a mess. Good luck and don´t forget to subscribe to my channel to see another thechniques for modeling.

+Kaelen Hitsman I made this project long time ago, but as far as I remember it took me a couple of sesions ( days) but not working long hours on it, so this project could be done in a couple of hours wihtout not to much efforth ( a bit of practice and a basic knowledge), btw, take into consideration that I make this for a video tutorial, so I didnt use keyboard shortcuts to improve my workflow or things like that. (y) good luck.

I'm just going to make my 3D model of a kitchen scene carefully in Autodesk 3ds Max, alzarac3d. 2 hours and a half is way too long for me to make my 3D model of a kitchen scene in Autodesk 3ds Max, alzarac3d. So, I'm going to make my 3D model of a kitchen scene quicker step - by - step in Autodesk 3ds Max, alzarac3d.
