History of Bon Jovi:
Bon Jovi, formed in 1983 in Sayreville, New Jersey, is one of the most successful rock bands in history. The band was founded by lead singer Jon Bon Jovi, guitarist Richie Sambora, keyboardist David Bryan, drummer Tico Torres, and bassist Alec John Such. Their self-titled debut album was released in 1984, but it was their third album, "Slippery When Wet" (1986), that catapulted them to international stardom with hits like "Livin' on a Prayer," "You Give Love a Bad Name," and "Wanted Dead or Alive."
Throughout the late 1980s and 1990s, Bon Jovi continued to dominate the charts with their anthemic rock sound and charismatic live performances. In 1992, they released the album "Keep the Faith," which marked a shift towards a more mature sound and addressed themes of perseverance and hope. The album included hits like "Keep the Faith," "Bed of Roses," and "In These Arms."
The "Keep the Faith" Club Tour was a series of intimate shows that allowed fans to experience the band's music up close and personal, contrasting with their usual arena-sized performances. This rehearsal footage provides a unique glimpse into the band's preparation and commitment to delivering high-quality performances.

Back when Bon Jovi were just 5 guys from New Jersey. It’s just not the same now. The first 6 albums were great.
Add to that the solo albums Blaze of Glory and Stranger in this Town, and you have 8 great records coming from the core of this band. Simply amazing.
They were 5 superstars from New Jersey, back then ;-)
Pretty close to their peak, when it goes to live performance (which I'd say was around 1995).
Right
Great rehearsal!!!
I think I've been waiting for this for 33 years...
Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah it was lost in time on a VHS tape!
the bass line for keep the faith is so damn good man, what a record
My teenage years!!! Never forget the day I saw keep the faith for the first time on TV in November 1992!! This is def rare footage and hear Jon and Ritchie! ❤❤
Richie Sambora is so good...
Yeah miss him in the band
Wish Jon and Richie were still together. the music they made together was MAGIC
Yeah they definitely had great chemistry together!
I seen this tour. Extreme opened up for them in Aug 92 in Michigan/ pine knob. It was a great show
1993
Now people should see this! Amazing. Thanks for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hey, Thank You for this kind of stuff. Like a LOT rehearsals making off, outtakes, bloopers, etc
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is awesome a real band at work miss RS in this band
Glad you enjoyed it!
Fantastic, I am a big fan of BJ. This is the first time I have seen this video. Thank you very much for uploading it.
Glad you enjoyed it!
ALEC JOHN SUCH!
RIP AJS
This band never get enough credit for the musicians they are. Case in point; Tico Torres; he never misses. I've seen him hit a 1-Iron in St Andrews - was a thing of f'n beauty !!
They got caught up with the Hair Bands who rarely get enough credit for their songwriting or musical talent!
Damn good!!! That’s a real band, real people doing their stuff! Thanx for sharing!! ❤️
Glad you enjoyed it!
Jon using "These Days" haircut in the "Keep the Faith" era.
@@laercioferreira7243 His haircuts totally thrown me with the date on this, I would’ve said this was ‘94, I thought that’s when he started wearing those silk waistcoats too but guess not!
that makes zero sense
@@Lotus3787 this looks like 1994 for sure...
This rocks !! Damn glad I ran in to this video..dig these rehearsals. Wish everybody did these
Glad you enjoyed it!
thank you for this video keep the faith is one of my favorite albums awesome music loved bed of roses they all killed it
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for posting
No problem!
@@JPL1311 Ok
OMG 😮 F’ing Amazing!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This looks like a rehearsal for the MTV in the round performance
The thing that impresses me more than the fact this video even exists. Is that Tico is the only one really giving it gig energy. Richies 80% on, dave and AJS are about 60% but Jon is like pretty much phoning it in.
Not what I would have expected.
Maybe he just knows the songs so well he's waiting for everyone else to come up to speed.
There’s no need for him to push his voice in a rehearsal. He has to pace himself and rehearsals aren’t necessary for him to go full out unless he’s needing to working something out but this is just so everyone is going on the same page and getting the set solid.
OMG: Wonderful, this is "Thank you, Goodnight" part 5 material.... the real music story behind the scenes!!!! Thank you so much for sharing this.... Is there more????
Glad you enjoyed it!
Blaze of glory it’s a gift
Blaze Of Glory sound is like💩
This is a gem! Thank you for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is pretty cool. Sambora is a hardass. Great tone!!
Rock on!
How did he sing so high damn

Absolutely amazing! Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is fantastic
Glad you enjoyed it!
wow amazing !! 😍 Thanks a lot !!
Glad you like it!
Thanks for sharing this!😊🤟
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow thanks!!! I thought I had seen everything and now this!!. Will be more things coming from Bon Jovi or Richie Sambora? I hope so!!
I totally forgot about this was looking for something else and found it figured I would share it here!
@@JPL1311 glad you found it, this is a gem for any Bon jovi fan!, many fans are happy with this 😀
A piece of this was used in vh1 behind the music when Alecs dismissal came up
Wow, previously unseen footage, and how good it is! Thank you for sharing! Is the venue known?
Just know it was in LA

BJ is dead for me since 1994 !!!!!
When JBJ still had shear rock fiery like VOCALS .
Thx
Anyone else want to know what the Tico Torres Method of song memorization is? It clearly works! If I had JBJ, Richie Sambora AND Dave Bryan (the only one who apologised to Alec) telling me I was wrong about a chord I'd trust them.
This is when they were still a band! Now they are more of an ensemble!
The same for GnR@@JPL1311
Dave apologized for what ?
@@samibouhadida5314 Being wrong about the chord.

This is Bon Jovi.
34:00 39:45 Damn Jon was really upset coordinating the band on "Keep the Faith" 😳
Did you write this or did I? Jon always had a healthy ego.
Hey, this cover band is really good at playing all those Desmond Child songs! 😂 This really was the last breath for true rock ‘n’ roll. When talent was actually needed to succeed. Before the music industry became a fashion show and more about pop culture than talent.
He has more business acumen than most artists.
Hi I'm a avid Bon Jovi Collector! would you be able to share the Raw Video files? I would love to trade something with you to add it to my collection of Bon Jovi media :)
And soon after they became a Pop band 😢 even though These days was a brilliant album.
I disagree. They were a robust Rock N’ Roll band all through the 90s. You can maybe make this claim after 2000’s Crush.
These Days was the greatest album ever, especially if you're a Bon Jovi fan. You can dismiss everything afterwards (I like some of it till 2009) but you can't argue that BJ was untouchable by 1995
@@DushtYantr I fully agree, I discovered BJ with keep the faith and enjoyed it more with these days. This was their peak I think !
Jon looks very hungover!
Estos videos aportan más a la leyenda de Bob jovi que la estupidez de documental que estrenaron este año
Yes they do this is really what into the band's success!
Awesome footage, thank you very much for sharing! Just one sidenote: I don't think October 13 is the right date. On October 12 they already played in Asbury Park. So the way they rehearsed the songs (from the bottom up), it isn't very likely that this was done AFTER the first warm-up show.
I was going by the date on the original video
I was wondering if it was actually a Crossroad club rehearsal, going off Jon’s hair 😅
yeah, i think these footage are earlier than 13th october, because they played show in New Haven, CT on 13. october, 1992, these footage might be from summer 1992 (due to Jons longer hair :D )
@@Lotus3787You can tell it’s 92 by the way they play Blaze with Jon playing the main lick and Richie playing around it, which they only did on the KTF tour
And also the transition from Born to be my Baby to I’d Die For You was something they did in 92
I didn’t realize tho Jon’s hair was still that long even after the haircut like you said lol
Sambora
Who recorded this? Absolute gem
I'm pretty sure it was MTV or VH1
❤
Jon looked hung over. :)

Alec was a very melodic bassist after he left the band there were no more cool bass lines like Living on Prayer,You Give Love Bad Name,Born To Be My Baby,Keep The Faith,Fear,In These Arms..he was hugely underrated RIP Alec John Such
He was definitely underrated
It was Hugh McDonald who developed and recorded these basslines
@@ChristophManuelJansen Hugh only played on the first album and albums post Crossroads after Alec left you can clearly see a huge difference on the bass lines on Slippery,New Jersey and Keep The Faith and albums after Crossroads where Hugh takes over..the albums with Alec the bass lines were catchy and memorable and the albums with Hugh the bass is dull and predictable a huge difference in style and creativity
@@CutiePie-hh3gg that is simply not true. McDonald played on the albums since Slippery when wet, Alec was only the stage bassist
@@ChristophManuelJansen oh really then tell me why is it after Alec left there were no more cool or memorable bass lines..did Hugh lose his touch😂

본조비 음반중에 keep the faith 가 젤 좋은데 왜 그당시엔 다른음반보다 히트를 못했는지 모르겠음
It was probably the timing of it and the music scene shifting to other types of music
44:30
I wonder if Jon ever realized that he was the 4th most talented guy in this band on his best day
Yeah, but he was the prettiest, and his name was on the marquee
@@GLOW31497 The band wouldn’t exist without him, his voice was stellar as was his song writing so your comment is void
Jon is an entrepreneur, like Lars in Metallica. Drive trumps talent. And you need both…
40:05 Just Like a Benito...
Where's the time gone?
I know seems like yesterday!
You can see the writing on the wall for Alec John Such here. When JBJ says "that was a little stiff" about Keep The Faith you can see he's looking pointedly at the bassist, and he has a point. The playing of the main riff is a clunky. If Alec had worked harder on his chops, he might still have been in the band today
WTF?
Well he sadly passed away in 2022, so...
He quit

Setlist??
Everyone is cool except Jon in this video. He seems to be having a really bad time and repeatedly talks about how he can't wait for practice to be over. He wears sunglasses and hardly smiles. His attitude contrasts with the positive image he usually gives off.
I think he was more of a Divo than anyone likes to say.
@affreuxdislaque781 He seems cool to me. But maybe he's tired or ill, maybe his dog died. Who knows??? I guess you've never had a long day at work and couldn't wait for it to be over. I see a man that takes his work seriously and wants to make sure everything is done right. Maybe you don't know anything about that!
Not sure how far into rehearsals this was but I would imagine he would rather be expending his energy in front of an audience
I would like to point out that I am a huge fan of Bon Jovi and that I admire Jon for his work ethic, his philanthropy, his positivism and I think that he will forever be one of the greatest frontmen in rock. But he definitely wasn't in a good mood that day.
He was just in rehearsal mode here. I've seen other rehearsal/sonudcheck footage and this is consistent with that. I know when I'm really focused on something I act the same way he does here.
It did look like he was frustrated with Alec at a couple points, too.
They look so young and delicious.
TU E METUN MASQUE ET MOI JE TE FAIS . ... J 🇨🇵 .
This is from 1994
I'm going by the date on the original tape it was transferred from.
Why do you think it’s 94?
If it was 94 why would they be arguing over Keep the Faith chords as they'd already toured it etc ?.
@@rabbamonkeyyou can clearly tell
By the hairstyle that this video
Is 94 .
No point in getting too bogged down in this but if you watch the evening with bon Jovi MTV video, the breakaways for commercials show Jon before the stylist and his hair is floppy etc, David Bryan in this clip has the sideburns that feature in all the promo for Keep the Faith as does Richie's paisley shirt. Not that it matters anyway 😂 @@lorenzopaulon5691
They could actually jam together, you know! But Mr. Bongiovi just would not have real musicianship on his stage live.
What a fucking bad attitud from jhon to alec in keep the faith he make it clear that he is a hired musician
The band started putting out mostly shit after its self titled debut record which was a glorious kick ass rock and roll record without a single bad song on it. Their second record what a total piece of shit without a single good song on it. Then came slippery which was OK but kind of cheesy and the next two albums had one maybe two good songs on them and the rest were bad and it’s been downhill every sense. This band forgot how to rock. It’s sad.
Huh? Lol. Waiting for that hipster fan to show up who just likes The Power Station years 😅 & Richie's work in The Message because after that they sold out 😮
You hate the band and you are making coments in a rare rehearsal video that only die hard fans would ever watch? Jajaja
KTF best album of bon jovi
Definitely a great album!
