Nice interview. Love to hear this guy. For me the most important part was when John said he will be promoting crypto currency when running for president. A part from the price predictions I think John is very reasonable about everything he said. He is a very important person on the crypto community. Cheers.
Joel Nogueira + Crypto or virtual currencies that do not offer any unique usage potential may have no value. So this is not to say that Bitcoin has no real value but as the grand daddy of the crypto space its place is there, but its potential for upside growth will be limited. This also means John McAfee will have to eat his testis soon enough. Folks out there might do him a favor by sending him some crafty recipes.

I am not a Maximalists so I know the HUGE problems that BTC has. I am very well aware that better, faster and cheaper will dominate an old technology. Yes our papa BTC was first and we all feel in love with it. But things evolve

Bitcoin's power usage per transaction isn't remotely sustainable as a wholesale replacement for the conventional financial system.
