So this system gives low tier armors like the kamura armor a chance to shine alongside high tier armors like malzeno. Artificially inflating its rarity in a way. Kind of neat and comes with its own drawbacks. But I like it so far.
Velociprey armor on its way to overtake the meta
That’s exactly what I got from it now.
So now…. Do I go for the low tier armors and try to get a bunch of different abilities into one set but run having low defenses? Or, Lee my high defenses with little help.
Honestly I love how they made the system. It’s gonna give so much customization. Best MH for me.
sorta... but high level armor can still get really good skills as well based on what it loses.
@@mkv2718 I suggest the Lucent Greaves. Depending on what exactly it is you're looking for, Blademaster or Gunner, you have 2 free points you can take off for a better skill spread.
Or the other way around, if the armor have that 1 skill that you don't need like if you are using close range weapon and that armor have 3 skill but 1 of them is ammo up, just roll until that ammo up is replaced by a better skill or the points go to the stats or slots
For players that didn't know this but you can press autoselect materials instead of selecting the materials manually
How to do it? Can you do it on Nintendo Switch?
@@Bronn_Bravil Yes by pressing X when you're on that page
I have Barroth Vambraces X with Windproof +2, so you can get more than a single rank of a skill, it's just crazy rare. Considering you can get multiple rolls of +skill, I'm assuming you can get multiples of -skill too. So the maximum budgets would be higher assuming you rolled a bunch of -skill, but still limited by the 7 roll cap.
That is correct I rolled -2 twice. Once to 2 different skills so it was -1 to 2 skills. The second time was -2 to one skill that was lv2 erasing it completely.
I’ve got a few plus 2 skills augmenting armor but they aren’t exactly great…. or helpful even.
I can see the devs upgrading this system on future title updates in some ways, allowing us to lock a skill to reroll some stats or alawing us to chose where to reduce status to better the point pool for betther upgrades.
That would be awesome. I certainly hope so! Might be broke though lol.
Broken? Yes. Boring? No. We could have so much more personalization that everybody will be able to use different armors as they please. Kinda like Fatalis' armor from iceborne but for every single armor in the game, literally everything would become competitive.
Current system reminds me of the Safi weapon system but without the whole getting better roll possibilities by storing shit mechanic.
i doubt it will happen, but it sure would be great if they did that for talismans as well. gambling against terrible odds is not fun and only serves to frustrate players. idk why the devs went wit that. it's not like it wouldn't take a long time to max out gear if you could lock skills during re-roll. the way it is now, players will just say "fuck it" and quit doing the augments.
@@steffenaltmeier6602 or quit playing entirely, like myself. Clicking through a menu for hours isn't my idea of fun. Too bad because, the system would be great without the rng.
I just wish we had some actual control over the augment system, like we could focus on skills we want to keep when we roll them or we can choose to lose stuff to gain other stuff.
Lol you must play on switch
@@spiderphil lol you must have started with World Iceborn
@@BonesNeverLie naw son freedom unite 2. The only thing we had were those glitched palacos
So cheat the qurious crafting and mash wex/attack boost/crit boost/crit eye?
I wish it was possible to choose exactly which skills you want to get rid of with an augmentation
This augmentation crafting helped me so much to finally make a good crit/tank IG build I've been trying to do for a while.

Recovery up+3
Weak Ex+3
Crit Boost+3
Masters Touch+3
Power prolonger+3

That's not even that good, sorry bro. Appreciate the effort though.
@@Shazz64 I wasn't going for a full damage meta build, i was trying to make something a little different with great HP Regen for survivability but still do decent dmg (for the IG) and with dango driver u basically never have to use a potion so I can always be attacking non-stop which somewhat makes up a lil bit for the lack of certain stats not being higher like atk boost.
@@BKMY215 Getting hit should never ve part of the plan - at least I think so. Better to learn to just play optimal.
But the dumbest thing to do is to tell others how to play their videogame. Go wild, dude!
@@Shazz64 Obviously u missed the part in my comment where it says "Crit/Tank". I like to try different play styles not just the meta. Also I never told anyone how to play I didn't even put the armor so if anyone trying to tell someone how to play it's u by saying "u should never plan on being hit".
For a while on my switch axe build, the only thing I could upgrade was the almudron helm and the first augment I got gave me a level of good luck, so I basically didn’t touch the helmet after that

@@spiderphil I got Artillery on mine...
I'm a Charge Blade main btw, so it was a welcome addition
Went crazy with bazal waist and got chain crit and upgraded my two slot to three slot (lost a point of guard ,was running gl ) ,and now I can comfortably fit enough handicraft to reach purple
i get power prolonger+1 and +1 slot on my almudron helmet for switch axe 👍🏼
@@ironwiredglasses This is one of the things that I love about this system, everyone's sets will be slightly different even with identical armour sets
You can definitely get multiple levels of the same skill on an armor piece. I got incredibly lucky and rolled Evade Extender +2 on my Death Stench Heel X today. I have no idea how low the odds of that pull was, but I doubt I'll ever get that lucky again.
It's like 2%ish per skill+. Divide that by number of skills and then odds of it happening twice at once. It's pretty rare lol.
Yeah I turned a astalos helm into a 4-4-1 yesterday. From a 4-2-1
@@Slim1604Personal Holy Hera.....
Bro I got crit boost 2 and lose muck resistance
My first armor augment was on the Ingot Greaves.
Lost 3 defense.
Gained a bit of dragon resistance, a level of Flinch Free *and* a level of Chain Crit.
I will never augment them again. Perfect pants.
One of my best rolls was actually my second - Anjanath Coil X got -14 defense, but one of its 1 slots turned into a 3 slot, and it got Evade Extender 1 and Guard 1!
**Important Exploit Information**
So I’ve been testing a few things out and the RNG doesn’t seem to be completely random.
I turned off auto-save and tried to augment my pants. Gave it a few rolls and then instead of closing the augment screen just closed the game.
When I came back and tried again it was the exact same 5 rolls.
Not only this but I decided to reload the game again and try my other gear. Turns out it was the exact same rolls for that gear too.
No matter what gear I picked the first piece was +32 def, the second roll for any piece was only +9 def, third roll was Quick Sheath and Para Resist, fourth roll only +6 def, and the fifth roll was -4 def +4 Thunder resist.
So there is a way to manipulate the rng a bit which is something you guys should look into and let everyone know about.
For example my first roll was +32 def so I pick a piece of gear I wanted extra def one and gave it to it. You could do this with all gear.
Let’s say you’re trying to augment a piece of gear and get a good roll but it’s sucks for that armor peace. Well you can close the game and reload load it and give it to another piece.
I hope you guys see this message because no one else seems to have talked about this EXPLOIT.
Enjoy your videos keep up the good work.
I don't think it would break Ibushi and Narwa, I just think it'd finally make them Mmmm, usable. They've been dropping the ball on those sets since they day they were made so I'm not surprised.
I think the real magic stems from using it as a MIXED set with another piece you have slotted with a bunch of skills, and then storm soul buffs those skills by 1.
@@EtienneLudor Your comment made me think, so I tested 4 pieces ibushi/narwa and an augmented 5th offpiece - still works with the default skills on the 5th piece, gets +1, but any augmented skills are unaffected. A bummer, seems it will only ever be comfort chargeblade armor pieces
your supposed to mix and match the narwa and ibushi sets based on your needs, sure you end up with skills you don't need but you get maximum comfort with them as you get essentially all the evade improving and stamina reducing skills automatically along with a baked in good luck skill, fairly nice for dual blades in particular. then you fill out things like WEX and crit boost through the slots. this system does limit them to mostly only wanting to shoot for slot upgrades but considering each piece only has a single slot each would help grabbing a few extra skills, if nothing else elemental attack skills that would not have fit in before.
@@Spphy that’s really unfortunate. Thanks for filling me in, I’ve been a bit busy so haven’t had the chance to go above lvl 34 inventions. … I may instead go for something crazy like removing all Seething’s Skill and slotting something useful.
On the other hand, the extra slots would work out hand for defiance, drop defense and slot something interesting.
@@Howema ah, sorry if we were a bit confusing, but we were discussing 4 piece Narwa/ibushi and then throwing on another piece from a different set, level 4 storm soul still affects the set mixed in, like if you wear a Malzeno piece with partbreaker and bloodrite, you can get a free bloodrite 3 and part breaker 2 on it. Right now I run a Furious piece and get free Furious 2 with some attack focused skills and slots.
I suggest you get some one slots on Ibushi and narwa anyway as you can easily slot defiance in there. Makes you a pretty sweet offensive and defensive charge blade powerhouse.
Also, I rolled a chain crit on my ingot legs and that was a game changer. This system is dope.
btw you can get Defiance via the Qurious Crafting
@@deinonychus1948 Not on the serpent sets
@@17deluxe51 exactly. I’ll take the one slots if means making it comfy.
Ah yes, "Fivine Blessing." Everyone's favorite skill.
very true, Fivine blesses you friend
Five Divinity's Blessing, or Fivine Blessing for short.
Guys! Guys! New skill confirmed! Fivine Blessing?! Is it going to be like an attack buff style Divine Blessing maybe? I can't wait to try it in a build.
Welcome my friends, Fevine welcomes you.
Guys I'm pretty sure it was just a typo...
They meant to type FELVINE blessing.
It's like Palico Rally but all the palicoes are also high.
Pretty fun utility skill.
So theoretically you *could* lose for example 2-3 skillpoints - lets say Spareshot and get 20-30 points to "spend" for new deco slots or skills, each lost skill point would be 1 of the 7 possible actions, so this could be good on armor pieces with alot of skills from which some are not wanted (best example the armors that have melee and ranged skills for some reason)
I just got the Silver Rath chest piece to roll up deco slots so it now has two 4-slots and a 2-slot. It did cost the crit ele skill, but I very much think that is worth it.
Wow same as me. But i lose fire element and some defense point, which is pretty worth it.
This helps me a lot actually. Malzano set is my favorite to use right now but my biggest issue is I have to use a talisman to finish off attack boost if I were to max that out.
This tells me trying to get that still up on three pieces and two level one slots for defiance is possible and I should not expect more than that
Thx for the info
oh boy I can't wait to do this when i FINALLY get to the new afflicted stuff cause all of my armor is rarity 10 and I need prime to start augments
Showing the document wouldve helped a lot more but still neat video. I also think you shouldve use a augment as a example and calculated its values
I got 1 evade extender on my Malzeno boots and I'm like "I'm never touching this thing again".
I think in the future for “fixing” this system is to treat slots, resistance, and defense like the weapon system. Expend afflicted parts to upgrade these, but higher upgrades will affect other stats. Leave the skills to RNG so as a roll with an amazing skill isn’t offset by other stats that are trash. As for my augments, managed to put defiance 3 on my GS set alongside chain crit 1, redirection 1 and coalescence 1
Such a good vid man, rlly good explanation, ty!
I’ve had the same stats pop up at least 10 times in a row which was just extra defense and nothing else
From my experience it upgrade the biggest slot first, if you have 3 1 1 and get slot +2 it will go 4 2 1, with +3 it will go 4 3 1. The biggest problem in this system is doubling of skils, it is realy tiring getting def upgrade alone like 20 times in a row.
The system does add depth to lower tier armour, after much re-rolling i got ingot Greaves with a double slot upgrade so 211 for slots and 6+ defence, which is crazy.
Has anyone encountered a red glowing border when you get your next augment roll, wondering if it implies the game is telling you've got an optimum roll.
I did and was wondering what that was. All of my stuff was super negative, though.
@@PKshockwave I think I might worked it out by looking at the S-tier skill list, I thinks its telling you you've gotten one of those skills.
Got my Rathalos Arms a Attack Up and Leap of Faith with a bit less element resistance with Dragon and water but I'm good now with only need to level my high tier armor next I guess But Really Looking Forward how this will change meta and such
He explained this really well. Im just stupid and understood none of it, but when I am capable of comprehending anything in this video... I'll come back to it... So I'll watch this video again in like a week and any other time I need to know something about the Qurious crafting :)
You forgot crit chain. I rolled squire's belt with chain crit+1 and grinder (S)+1.
Just as a note, it will not always prioritize upgrading the lowest slot. My archfiend chest went from 3 slot 2 slot to 4 slot 2 slot 1 slot.
It is heavily weighted to do so however.
Yeah it's the opposite actually. First it turns empty slots into 1-slots, but after that it actually prioritizes the highest, not the lowest slot.
While there are some skills that I wouldn't mind losing (Load shell on an IG build), it keeps trying to remove skills that I want, like Recovery Up.
I have been anxiously awaiting this vid.
5:56 Y the hell would you give this up!!!!
On one of my Barbania pieces, I got an augment that gave Wide-Range +1, an upgraded level 3 slot and an additional level 1 slot. Considering the fact that I've been using it in my combat medic SnS set, it's a godsend.
Very comprehensive thank you.
8:45 pretty much explains it
Yea but whenever one of these skills happen it tends to decimate your defense greatly or attempts to remove the actual useful skill the armor already has or even both... Pain
So I should aim for Ingot Greaves with a 2slot and something "simple" like Focus or Wirebug Whisperer. Thanks.
I’ve been just adding a single one slot decoration to my narbushi set, and it’s been more than enough to add free meal, spiribirds call, and extra stun resist.
For an offense set, imagine the bs you can pull with stormsoul and +5 Thunder attack
@@17deluxe51 Oh yeah, if your doing element, that's awesome.
Now that I know you can augment base skills off your armor, I actually like this system even more. Nothing in this game makes my brain light up more than when I design a set that is 100% efficient, with zero unneeded or unwanted skills. Also, in a way, this adds blademaster and gunner sets back into the game, since you can augment off skills that don't affect your weapon type, to get purely blademaster pieces and purely gunner pieces.
Edit: After trying it out myself, I'm not actually sure you can remove more than 1 skill point from your base armor. Does anyone know if that's the case?
Losing multiple levels of a skill is possible. Game wanted to take away my 2 levels of Blood rite...
I once removed one of each skills (my armor has 2 skills; one lv 2 and one lv 1 became one level 1 and 0 skill) and then that armor got minus all of the defenses lol the best part was I got no skill return 😂 💀
its possible but the chance of that happenning in conjunction with getting something useful out of it is terribly low. Angbata has explained it too but also provided the spreadsheet with the percentage chances of specific augementations to happen. My suggestion would be to roll until you get another useful skill or slot upgrade and leave it be. Anything more than that already requires a good amount of luck. And pretty much anything past that is only available to the hackerman. I do wonder though what a theoretical 100% armor set would look like.
Like in theory the silver solmail can lose its 3 Fire attack for 3 levels of max might. The chance is just so low that no human will every see something like that happen to them.
I know it was unintentional but when Fivine Blessing came up in the bottom left corner it really tickled my funny bone.
Liked and subscribed, this guy explained it welll
Also it'd be nice being able to lock armor skills during augments giving us a small amount of more control. At least we aren't forced to accept our Random rolls I appreciate this small amount of control.
At 3:21 you have a 2-1-0 slot becoming a 3-1-1, so it doesn't look like it is as simple as "raise the lowest level slot" (otherwise it would have become a 2-2-1).
It's not, it only prioritize slots with no space, for example: a 2-1-0 becoming a 2-1-1 is what will happen, then if you have more points it would raise a random slot, so it would become a 3-1-1 or a 2-2-1 or even 4-1-1 but it would be crazy tbh
You know I logged into the new update and did all four of the new monsters (Who were great by the way, Lucent Nargy is hella fun to fight) but then I saw this whole OMEGA upgrade/grinding thing for all my endgame sets and just said nah not for me. I love love love sunbreak it is super fun. But the idea of sitting there farming Anomaly fights (which I do not care for) to pull a slot machine and hope my armour gets like +1 deco slot or something is just not my idea of fun.
I'm in the same camp. Re-rolling armor pieces like talismans doesn't sound like a good time. These numbers are cool and all, but in the end it's still just a slot machine for buffs or nerfs.
@@eclipseworld I prefer it to the bs World pulled lol
It's a pretty shitty system all told.
I like the flexibility it offers in terms of the end results. But getting the materials is ridiculous.
I'm on PC and so naturally I just gave myself tons of mats to start rolling (this was before augment mods were out).
I've done hundreds of rolls now to test out the system. 99% of them are garbage. We're talking several hours spent just sitting in a menu, not hunting monsters, rolling augments.
Normally a person would run out after a handful of augments. But they still have to spend those hours in the menu, just spread out over even more time spent hunting for mats.
I hope people are getting lucky and getting good rolls. Because even a little bad luck could mean spending days playing this game and getting nothing out of this system.
At first I was the same way until I managed to create my God status set because of this. I was blessed with getting Gold Rath's helmet to a +1 in chain crit and now it has chain crit 3. This singular thing literally changed everything with my builds
@@PKshockwave I know this potential exists and have been in the process of making a build that consists of Golden Lune Helm, 3 middle silver Rath pieces, and the Lucent Greaves. I'm using the Espinas dual blades. If you take this video into consideration, I think you may understand just how good this set is
Hey, the slots dont always go lowest to highest, i have a pair of Golm Greaves that upgraded a 2 to a 3 despite having two 2s and a 1. (it's full breakdown is +20 Defense, +1 Deco, -6 Fire -2 Water +1 Item Prolonger)
Managed to get the lunagaron
helmet to gain a little defense and another crit.eye slot.
Cotton! When will you teach us hunting horn! Show us your buildssss! Please!!!!!
Qurios Crafting was the best thing what could happen in mhr. It give me the chance to make my Malzeno x Gaismagorm Set perfect.
You'll never achieve perfection like you said. The only way to fully utilize the system, is if you cheat. The system is terrible.
This explains why a few blade master pieces have random gunner skills on them.
An absolutely insane idea but I kinda wish I could augment my talismans... I know that idea is scary and makes me feel sick but if I didn't try to hard I might get a slot upgrade on my best talisman or something 😅
So you grind to get the worst possible item(to increase point limit) to the grind the best possible item
No. Each roll does all the plus/minus in that instance. Doesn't effect next roll. The more you lose the better the possible stuff you get. So lower armors have a higher starting point total so they don't have to get hit by stat/skill removal as hard as higher end armor to get god skills added. Plus they're way cheaper to roll on.
I got a WEX upgrade on my Squires waist which essentially makes it a piece of armor that holds two weakness exploit and two offensive guard. Seems pretty nuts to me, especially as a GS main.
The armor increase alone is worth it, 100 extra defense on my 5 pieces. Plus so many pieces of armor have high value skills that you might not need, I'm a LS main so don't need any of the high value gunner skills like spare shot, rapid up, ammo up etc. so this is a great way to remove those and get something I can use in return. Edit: A combined 100 more def, not 100 def per piece, though 49 came from a single piece, my hermitar coil. So this does make lower rarity armor much more viable now.
@5:47 got to love Fivine Blessing
Can you upgrade a 3 slot into a 4 slot? Are there even any armors with a 3 2 2 or a 4 3 1 slot scheme?
Yes. You can. My Silver Solmail went from a 4 3 1 to a 4 4 2.
@@4robinsona That's awesome, thanks so much for that!
Once during Augment, I got special animation and... +14 Defense (sparkling), +1 lvl1 slot, +1 fire res, Good Luck +1 (sparkling), Master Touch -1, Ballistics -1
And I got Good Luck on 2 other armor parts, so I guess it'll be great for farminig
I had the lvl 2 slot upgraded to a lvl 3 slot in my Malzeno mail while keeping only 2 of the 3 total slots, so it seems like there's both a amount of slots agmentation and a upgrade slot augmentation
i found that you should have a spare piece of the same armor you use. That way if you get a good QC one a piece, use that one and QC roll on the spare for a better result, get one then switch to that piece to see if it works if not then you still have the old piece to fall back on. May be moot since we can choose to change but I like having a safety net if I accidently chose the new roll. Also might be good if you want to keep both for a different loadout to use.
Just roll again or use the clear augment option, having spare pieces is good if the augment is not universally good
Small typo Divine Blessing was written as Fivine Blessing.
You can get Crit Eye through Curios Crafting. Just got it on my Rath Coil
Thanks for the video! There is a mistake about the slot upgrades though: First, the game will indeed "fill up" the piece with lvl 1 slots. But if you have 3 slots already, it will upgrade the HIGHEST slot up to lvl 4 and then go to the next highest. Man, I wish you were right though - taking multiple slots from 1 to 2 would be insane.
I got a one slot to a four slot in a single roll
@@grimclawnotch57 yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. The game will update one slot to its max, then go on to the next one. Cotton says in the video that it will always upgrade the lowest one (so first upgrade all 1s to 2s), which is (unfortunately) not correct
It appears to be weighted towards filling in an empty slot. But yes, it can upgrade existing slots. I'm not sure if there's any rhyme or reason to that though. The person who went from a 1 to a 4 was probably incredibly lucky.
@@rainbowkrampus once again: It fills empty slots, then it upgrades the highest one up to max, then goes on to the next highest one. 😅
@@LyannenHalbsterblich But it doesn't. It doesn't always fill empty slots and it doesn't always upgrade the highest one.
I've had two rolls which defy your stated method.
Is it best to remove stats and unwanted skills from an item. Then try to roll for the upgrades you want? So you have more points?
or does each roll take into consideration "original" base stats and go from there?
Omg this hurt my brain.. I need to re-watch this like 4 more times 🤣
I'm perfectly content rolling an armor piece enough times to get another lv2 slot or a useful skill. Going for anything above that would be lunacy.
Fivine blessing sounds like felvine and divine had a baby
My best roll so far was -1 attack boost with a slot upgrade from 1 slot to 4 slot on malzeno coil for my elemental switch axe build
Hot take, I like that it is RNG. As many arg as possible is welcome to me.
Ingot greaves are now the best pants in the game based on the rolls that ive gotten
Me looking at the Barroth pieces: 'Alright you, let's roll'
Ive been thinking about it, if yall use the same piece of armor through a lot of your sets make multiple of them so you can be more flexible
I was hoping I wouldn't have to do that but when I realized it I kinda just accepted it. At least the weapons don't have that issue
@@17deluxe51 I mean its not really an issue for me, its not like ypu have to kill the boss 70 times to get the rare drop any more (True story dont ask please) all thats left is more common drops so its not too much of a bother, anyways why would you complain about hunting monsters, its literally the title of the game lol. Ah yes, my favorite skill
*Fivine Blessing*
For me what is best is that rarity 10 can become really powerful.
Rarity 8 have the best rolls of the dice for some busted results but Rarity 10 you can potentially make better armours.
Since all rarities have a certain value for budget, the game adds and subtracts for a max of 7 augments never going beyond the budget the piece of Armour has. Some high rarity armours have only 10 points of budget with some good skills but also have skills that are extra or useless for some builds like gunner skills for physical attackers.
You can potentially take out those gunner skills or support skills for a maximum of 3 skills/skill levels less giving to the budget 30~40 extra points for a possible 3 extra rolls of either better stats, better skills or more levels in any of the possible skills.
Like no joke, if you get lucky you could make some pretty op armours event of rarity 10 if the roll of the dice favours you.
Overall I really like this system, mind you I'm not a player that seeks out optimized dps skills. I can say however that my rolls have allowed me to run a decent dps gunlance set with a lot of utility skills that keep constant pressure with great survivability. Never thought I'd see the day where I would run lvl 4 earplugs but is oddly fun because it's one less thing to worry about.
do the augments replace the skills on the armor set? like an armor with weakness exploit and replaces it? or adds on top of it like giving it a second skill say razor sharp
Ok I didn’t have enough brain juice today. I’ll be back later on. Lol
so the more an amour pieces base stats and skills are lowered the better the roll is correct? Its like midnight when this came out for me so trying to understand this while sleepy is a bit much. though i will say for some elemental gunlance sets i have they mainly have additional 1 slots that i have been finding really helpful. the best augment i have is chameleos gloves losing a point of evade window for a point of chain crit in my Status trigger set.
@Bashorn the gold rath belt and chameleos gloves both give 2 evade window so going form 4 to 3 for a Chain crit is good trade
Yeah I’m probably not going to be doing this much. They should have done augmenting like on weapons where you could choose what skills, slots, etc you wanted. My main gripe with this besides from rng is that you can lose base armour skills including unique set skills which completely nullifies the uniqueness of the armour.
Losing base skills is a positive when it gets rid of the useless skill based on your build. Example is the lucent Narga leggings where it reduced a level of ammo up and replaced it with handicraft.
@Bashorn this is probably the bare minimum I will do, hopefully get a good utility skill on top of the base.
yes but you can get rid of skills you don't use. The pukei pukei chest peice has special amo boost 1 and speed sharpening 2. Special amo boost is useless for blademasters and speed sharpening is useless for gunners. For some reason Jyuratodus has a single gunner skill in tune up on the chest which is pretty much useless so it's basically just a skill you can remove for extra points.
I am aiming for an extra 2 socket or a good skill and a 1 slot. I got spiribird on a piece and I’m reluctant to refill it because it’s awesome, especially combined with Chamelios soul
I just gotten a + 4 deco slot on silver sol mail and the best part is I still gain 2 defense while only losing 3 fire and thunder resist and 1 level of fire attack. Now I have a triple 4 slot silver solmail and Idk what to do with it lmao!
Update: I just got a cursed ingot greaves that gives +6 deco slots! BUT at a cost of 2 crit eyes lmao!
I got 3 1 slots on my Steve gloves really nice to have for defiance or speed sharpening
My new personal favourite bow set with Qurio Crafting consists of:
Gold Rath helm with lv1 Bladescale hone and +1 Def.
Silver Solmail with lv 1 Stamina surge with +6 Def, -4 Dragon res and a slot upgrade so it has two level 4 slots.
Lucent arms with -6 Def but also another Blade Scale hone
Silver Solcoil with +17 def and slot upgrade make the lv 2 a 3 but at the loss of Redirection which doesn't affect me.
Gold Rath leggings with no negative effect with slot upgrade making the lv2 slot a 3 and giving me lv 1 slot as well.
All my active skills when outfitted with decorations and current talisman I am using consists of lv 5 Constitution, lv 5 Evade Window, lv 5 Defiance, lv 3 Crit Boost, lv 3 fire Attack, lv 2 Peak Performance, lv 2 Weakness exploit, 2 slots to put in any shot type up deco, lv 2 Reload Speed, lv 2 Recovery Up, lv 2 Evade Extender, lv 2 Adrenaline Rush, lv 2 Blade Scale hone, lv 2 Element Exploit, lv 2 Chain Crit, lv 2 Status Trigger, lv 2 Counter Strike (from Talisman), lv 1 Crit Element, lv 1 or 2 Ballisitcs (depends on what weapon I am using), Bow Charge Plus, lv 1 Stamina Surge and Foray.
I am just waiting to get a Talisman with 1 level Bladescale hone or Chain Crit to get all three levels of either skill and that at least has two level 2 slots. I will likely loose 2 levels of Evade Window but its not too much of an issue with evasion works in Rise.
So what group is the Sergio's arms in?
I haven't used Qurious Armor Crafting much but it's a very low chance of getting great offensive skills on Ratity 10 armors, I do get a higher chance of getting Crit Boost or Weakness Exploit on Rarity 8 and 9 armors without spending more than 300 embers
If you have already 3 existing skill set on your arm that you dont need and have a good amount of deco slot. Is it possible to get the 3 existing skills removed then you get around 2 new good skills? Im curious because i think there are some rarity 8 armors with bad skills but good deco slot that we can augment with less resources
Buy this man a beer!
So basically, Use armor pierces with useless skills for you builds and roll to lose said skill for slots and additional skills. At least my Para build set is cost effective according to the table.
I was so luck today that I got Evade Window +2 on my Lambent Gaiters!!!
So… can I just lose all the Seething Bazel skills(none of which I use) and just make a really good one?
You got the slots upgrades wrong, it doesn't upgrade the lowest. It fills in any empty slots first and then upgrades from left to right. A 4-2-0 with a one slot upgrade would become 4-2-1. A 4-2-1 with a 2 slot upgrade would become 4-4-1, completely ignoring the 1 slot because it works from left to right once all spaces have been filled.
ah yes "fivine blessing" my favorite
So could you minmax this by removing unused skills? If you remove a skill in a roll then do another roll later do you still retain that bonus in points or does this all happen in one roll?
Question, if I accept a negative roll, does that mean I have better budget for my next roll? That’s what I understood, if so, it is possible to have a little control on RNG
No, each roll bases the point budget on the baseline stats of the gear.
so for Knight Squire belt, it has slot 3-0-0. What is the best possible slot extention I can get with it? is a 3-2-2 possible? if I'm clculating it right, it's 4 slot+ which is 6*4=24. Knight Squire has a budget of 16. That means I need another 8 points to compensate. Those 8 points can come from things like defence minus and resist minus. Am I getting it right? I wanna make sure if this is even possible before hopping in for the god roll. thx
Four slot upgrade would make it 4-2-1, it only fills in empty slots as a priority and then works from left to right. So it uses 2 slots to make it 3-1-1 and then from left to right 4-1-1 and finally 4-2-1. That essentially gives you "2 good skills", everything less than 4 slots is worse than getting a skill added outright (unless you specifically want level 1 deco skills). I personally have an added critical boost on mine and called it a day.
@@wormwoodmain6677 ahh that clarified everything for me. thx!
Can you use scum saving to get your materials back if you don't like your rolls?
It's possible to upgrade a level 1 deco slot into a level 4 slot. My Anjanath coil now has 4-4-1 instead of 4-1-1.
But what did u trade for that?
@@jakbar_vano7139 It lost 6 defense and 3 thunder defense and got 2 ice defense, the slot upgrade from 1 to 4 and 1 level of the Master Mounter Skill
Stormsoul works even as 4 pc & 1 random. So i equipped armour with a negative skill augment & some new skill augmented.
Turns out:
Negative skill is removed from the set, ie Stormsoul doesn't affect apply to it anymore
Augment skills are not affected by Stormsoul in any way, meaning u can't get an armour with the most stacked list to be added 1 point each with 4pc Stormsoul
Yo!! Fivine blessing is a new skill?? What does that do? Jokes aside, great video and thanks for the info, time to farm afflicted monsters for attack boost ig
Omg this sounds 10x more grindy than even the safi weapons, jeez...it's kinda scary.
It's trash. Imagine how fun it'd be without the unreasonable rng.
So if I did my math right, I could potentially get Valstrax gauntlets, with added WEX lvl 1 to max it out at 3, have Dragonheart removed, and get 2 lvl 1 slots added, with potential added defense possibly?
So augumentations stack?
Like each roll doesn’t overwrite the last?
