Independence Day Azerbaijan

The National Council of Azerbaijan, headed by Mammad Emin Rasulzade, declared the independence of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (ADR) in 1918. On this day, the Declaration of Independence was signed in the hall of the palace of the former viceroy of the Russian Emperor in the Caucasus in Tiflis.
