LOL Socrates would be proud. I noticed the same thing. I always enjoy your videos. This one was forced but you are a RUclipsr who got a free projector for a sponsored video so I totally get it. I wanted to give support so I watched it. There is no way in hell that I would spend more than $150-$200 on one of these portable projectors and it always blows me away when I see Anker's price points for these nebula units. Anyway, keep up the great work! I'll always check out your posts
Clicked on the video, saw your last name. That's kinda cool. Saw this pinned comment, huh, look at that, the universe telling me to subscribe to a new channel. Amazing 👏🏾
This projector gets the job done pretty well. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxS9P8zTOcmQg-hH0QeUi3dspOLyYgQ6dH Bear in mind it's a mini projector but all things considered the picture quality is pretty good. The attached photo is of the projector projecting onto my white closet doors. I still have not messed with the settings but I can't wait for our first family movie night on a larger scale. If you have issues with volume not working with your firestick, go into volume settings and you will find your solution there.
It would be amazing if you could do a mini laser projector showdown. Been seeing more and more of them, some with way higher Ansi lumens and comparable features.
Great review mate! Been eyeing this product for some time. Really keen to get one in hand to see the image quality in person. I hear the sound out of the speakers is also pretty good
Great review, was hoping to hear more about the - Horiztonal keystone correction (if any) - This model supposably has a Zoom function (located in the focus menu) Abaility to zoom out 50% apparently, but cant find a review on this.
I am in need of a projector that fits into a backpack and can be used for a colorful business / medical presentation. Source will be a laptop with USB-C. I don't mind having to get a USB-C to HDMI cable but need to be sure that text is sharp and it is bright enough for a lit conference room. I am leaning towards the capsule 3 laser as it appears to accomplish what I am needed but I have not seen anyone yet comment or review this projector for my use case. Please assist.
For $600ish its pretty amazing but pertsonally I feel like its not bright enough unless in total dark...Id save more and get the brighter 4k or similar.
Love the channel but 300ANSI lumens is what's keeping me from purchasing. If it were at least 500 I would buy in a heartbeat. Portable projectors really need good brightness imo. That price point also needs to come down. I get maybe $500 but.... almost $800 bucks!? I will stick with my Solar Portable.
i was thinking the same thing and I was expecting a super dim image but it was brighter than I thought it was going to be. Even at 200 inches outside on the side of the house is was acceptable. I agree that 600 ANSI lumens would be significantly better but then the battery life would be abysmal. It’s kind of a balancing act of battery and brightness.
Thanks for the review! I have a question for you. Say you had it plugged into power and were binging some netflix (going well beyond the battery's 2.5hrs max) ... Does it get pretty hot? Or does it do a good job of keeping cool?
for that price id want 4-6 hours battry life or another usb c port so i can have a hd and a battery conected. its alot for 2.5 hours battery. i have a viewsonic portable m1 plus. its great sound ok picture and ok battery life but the ui is terrible it doesnt work half the time, the remote is also terrible it actually makes the projector almost unusable too as for a good 60 percent of the time the buttons wont register. id go as far to say stay away from the m1 plus because even navigating netflix simple things are imposible ue to remote issues or lack of a option to simply select or search withing the netfkix app itself. my elemets usb and usbc hds wont even be recognised in the m2 plus, i have tried them formated in both nfc and also fat32 and they at 5tb simply dont see anything. so your prety much stuck with netflix. id love this projector if the ui is great but 2.5 hours isnt enough to watch alot of movies.
I have the ViewSonic M1 plus also and it's a huge POS. I purchased after checking specs with ViewSonic who lied. Battery life is shit and as mentioned the UI and display is so junk I have only used it a few times. I purchased a solar generator and take my normal projector. F@#k ViewSonic.
I just got through doing the Midwest Gaming Classic and I was talking to other artists in Artist's Alley about how I want to do live art at my booth because not at lot of artists are doing that. The problem was that I would have to carry all the equipment I need by myself, so it would be cumbersome with monitors, cords, etc. With this thing, I wouldn't need any of that. I wouldn't necessarily even need a screen (although I plan to buy one.) I can find a nice retractable screen to use with this that would easier to carry around. Thanks for posting this bro!
I’ve had my nuclear for almost one year. I am very impressed with it is still going strong, however, when the picture expanded across the screen from corner to corner, it’s only for the commercials, but when the program comes back on, it’s not stretched across the screen from corner to corner how do I fix that anybody out there knows thank you.
It depends on how much ambient light there is. In the beginning of the video I had a few lights on in the room and you could see the image but 300 ANSI lumens isn't enough to really fight against bright ambient lights
@ChrisMajestic Love the info in your videos, very helpful since I'm still in the beginning of my learning curve. I was thinking about picking one of these up, but I had read in a review where someone was experiencing a 400ms+ lag between video/audio when using the hdmi port. Have you noticed any of that behavior?
How are people getting quality sound out of the projectors? Seems like most of them only have a 3.5 mm audio out jack. Do they have the ability to connect a Bluetooth speaker like my awesome JBL Extreme 3 and doesn't the Bluetooth connection introduce a lot of audio delay and make the lips out of sync?
Hi mate watched lot of your stuff .wondering if you could recommend a really 4k projector throw distance of 10feet away . Hope you can help . Price up to £3000
One of friends have one of these it a good little projector , but I bought the, Formovie S5 laser portable projector and it blows the nebula capsule out of the water and it's 250 dollars cheaper, the formovie S5 has 1150 ansi lumens vs 300 ansi lumens you get from the capsule and it's only 550 dollars vs 800 you pay for the capsule .
@Chris Majestic You are right my friend it's still an excellent portable projector the nebula capsule, have look at the formovie v10 4k portable projector 2500 ansi lumens for 1000 thousands dollars .
@@ChrisMajestic It would be amazing if you could do a review on other portable projectors and compare them to this one. I've read about the formovie S5, xigmi (?), and one called mogo 2 pro.
Can you give me your opinion on which is better. Nebula mini Or Yaber pro v9. This will be my 1st projector. I want to use indoor and outdoor. I have an android phone Thanks
Hello Chris, i hope you read this. I love your videos because i am really into tech Gadgets. But I am sad to notice you don't really spend time interacting with your audience. I sent comments and never got feedback from you. I am still not able to find a solution for my OPTOMA UHD51A projector. It's stuck in a reboot look and never turn on properly. I really need ideas how to fix this. Your input will be highly appreciated as well as one anyone in the comment section who has experienced this and has been able to fix it. Thank you sooo much
Challenge: Take a shot of whiskey every time I say “actually” 😂😂

Is there any Nebula Capsule 3 review that is not sponsored by Anker/Nebula?? Can't trust any of these reviews as soon as they say it's sponsored...
It's a good product, I like the Transformers edition
Ok, now combine that with the amazon robot abd we're getting somewhere closer to my own r2d2. Sweet!
You’re My Only Hope 🤣😂
Very thorough review 👍🏽
What about mars 3 air is any good?
I consider buying it

does the lens has a life time hours? and how much hours it has?
Tried getting one, anker doesn't ship to Hawaii...
This is the first American unboxing where they don't pull out a tactical machete to slit the tape on the box. Kudos. I feel very safe with this OP.

It got pretty warm while I was testing it but never crazy hot.
@@ChrisMajestic Great! Thanks man, good to know. 👍
How noisy is the fan on this, @ChrisMajestic?
I could barely hear it. It’s there but certainly not annoying

IT's Type-C that supports power and data, couldn't you just connect a dongle to it and have USB and power running to it?
Although I didn’t test it I believe a PD usb powered gun would work

Does it self center itself?
I need you to make a budget party speaker or Bluetooth speaker for outside use that can also double as a projector speaker for outside.
Looks very promising. Thanks for the thorough review, Chris.

Please compare benq tk700sti vs xgimi horizon pro for India viewers

What's the noise level like? As loud as the xgimi halo plus? Thx
Looks awesome. How is it in a lighted or dimly lit room for business presentations?
It depends on how much ambient light there is. In the beginning of the video I had a few lights on in the room and you could see the image but 300 ANSI lumens isn't enough to really fight against bright ambient lights

You from Baltimore huh 😂😂😂😂
Which projector stand is that at the 2:03 mark?
It does look nice but $750 is too much .
What tripod is that? Great video!

Whenever they make something like this but ultra short throw projector it will make a lot of sense in my opinion
So basically you want a can-sized ultra short throw projector.
Can you give me your opinion on which is better.
Nebula mini
Or
Yaber pro v9.
