From the valorous sacrifices made during the independence movement to their unwavering commitment to preserving cultural heritage, the Shershabadi community stands as a beacon of resilience and patriotism.
Their lower education rate is a result of governmental neglect and economic challenges, not inherent incapacity. Despite these obstacles, the community has produced luminaries in various fields, showcasing their intellectual prowess and determination to excel.
Women's participation in the workforce is not a sign of backwardness but a testament to their resilience and dedication to supporting their families and communities. Furthermore, the portrayal of male members solely engaged in building construction is a gross oversimplification. The Shershabadi community boasts a wealth of professionals, including doctors, engineers, and scholars, who have made significant contributions to society.
Their adherence to wearing Burqas is a matter of personal religious choice, not oppression.
It's imperative for journalists to seek out genuine experts and representatives from the community itself rather than perpetuating harmful stereotypes. I extend my willingness to engage in constructive dialogue to counter such baseless allegations and negative propaganda, shedding light on the truth: the rich history, cultural heritage, and invaluable contributions of the Shershabadi community.
The allegation, that the Shershabadi community originated from Bangladesh and settled along the banks of rivers, purchasing land from natives at lower prices, is not just baseless but deeply misleading. इस वीडियो में शेरशाहवादी मुस्लिम समुदाय के बारे में जितने भी तथ्य रखे गए हैं, अधिकांश तथ्य गलत है। शेरशाहबादी मुस्लिम समुदाय आजादी से पहले से भारत में रह रहे हैं। और आजादी की लड़ाई में इस समुदाय का योगदान उल्लेखनीय है। इस समुदाय के ज्यादातर लोग शेरशाह सूरी के समय से उनकी सेना में थे और उनके बाद बिहार, वर्तमान झारखंड, और बंगाल में गंगा किनारे सीमांचल के क्षेत्र, अररिया, कटिहार साहिबगंज मुर्शिदाबाद, मालदा इत्यादि में बस गए। और खेती कर जीवनयापन करने लगे। इस समुदाय के लोग बहुत मेहनती होते हैं, जो वीडियो में भी स्वीकारा गया, खेती और पशुपालन कर गुजर बसर करते हैं। स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के समय इस समुदाय का योगदान बहुत ही उल्लेखनीय है और काफी योजनाबद्ध तरीके से आजादी की लड़ाई लड़े, यहां तक कि अंग्रेजों के खिलाफ फतवा भी जारी किया गया था। इस समुदाय के लोगों के स्वर्णिम इतिहास को दबाने के लिए, आजादी की लड़ाई में इनके योगदान को छिपाने के लिए पूर्वाग्रह से ग्रसित लोग एक तय एजेंडे के तहत इन्हे बदनाम करने के लिए इन पर बांग्लादेशी होने का ठप्पा लगाते हैं। रही बात शिक्षा की तो हर पिछड़ा वर्ग शिक्षा से दूर ही थी। आज धीरे धीरे हालात बदल रहे हैं और इस समुदाय के लोग भी मुख्यधारा से जुड़ रहे हैं। जिस क्षेत्र में यह समुदाय बसा है, बिहार, झारखंड, बंगाल ये पूरा क्षेत्र पहले से ही पिछड़ा है। अन्य समुदाय की हालत भी इनके इर्द गिर्द ही है। यह इस समुदाय की नही इस क्षेत्र की सरकारों की विफलता है।
पर्दा की बात करें तो यह इस्लामिक सिद्धांत है। इसमें कोई बुराई नही है। भारत में उच्च वर्ग के लोग भी पर्दा करते हैं बल्कि यह भारतीय संस्कृति का भी हिस्सा है।
सर मैं आपका बहुत बड़ा प्रशंसक हूँ। मुझे आपका काम बहुत पसंद है। यह देखकर खुशी हुई कि आप सीमांचल आए। लेकिन आपने यहाँ जिन पत्रकारों से बात की है उन्होंने आपको शेरशाहबादी कम्युनिटी के बारे में गलत जानकारी दी है। यह वही नेरेटिव सेट करने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं जो बी जे पी चाहती है। हालांकि सच्चाई इससे बिल्कुल अलग है। शेरशाहबादी समाज के लोग यहाँ सदियों से आबाद हैं और अपनी मेहनत व लगन से इस क्षेत्र के विकास में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा रहे हैं। इसलिए आपसे अनुरोध है कि अपनी निष्पक्ष छवि को ध्यान में रखते हुए इस वीडियो के भ्रामक अंश को हटा दें। हमें आशा है कि आप ऐसा जरूर करेंगे।

आदर पूर्वक कहना ये है कि जिस तरह से सीमांचल में जाकर शेरशाहबादी समाज को लेकर जानकारी लिए हैं वो पूरा असत्य है। इस वीडियो को देखकर मन को दुख हुआ। कभी सोचा नहीं था कि lallantop भी इस तरह आधा अधूरी जानकारी चलाएंगे। लेकिन इस चैनल के मुख्य संपादक खुद इस तरह के रिपोर्ट में जुड़े रहे। मैने पूरा विडियो देखा। मन को दुख हुआ कि मैं उस समाज के और सदियों से देश में रहने के बाद भी इस तरह की बात सुनने को मिलता है। जिस तरह से उन तीन लोगों ने शेरशाहबादी महिलों के बारे में बताया वो असत्य है। इसलिए मेरा ये गुजारिश है कि आपको किसी शेरशाहबाड़ी समाज के बड़े जिम्मेदार के पास जाकर सही जानकारी लेना चाहिए। अब तक कटिहार से तीन-तीन विधायक बरारी, मनिहारी और प्राणपुर से कई बार जिताया है।

There is clear contradiction between the statements of Mr Pushamitra and Mr Mithilesh. They should invest some time to realize the truth before speaking. Mr Mithilesh has one clear agenda to declare Shahshahabadi as outsider. Reportesr should know their responsibility and act accordingly. They are also a reason for the pathetic situation and non-development of Bihar. I have seen one video of “The Lallantop” in which Dr Shiv Kr Sharin has shared wise words. It is the second video I received from one of my contact. I am really disappointed with this video. Sharing some wrong information, shaming one community in digital platform can bring only negativity. I don’t see any benefit of this video. Shershahabadi community is an Indian Muslim Community. This community has engineer, doctors, engineers, teachers, lawyers, farmers, craftsmen, carpenters, contractors and so on. Female representation in education and employment is better than many other communities.
Next time “The Lallantop” should analyze the message they are sharing before uploading a video. Spread the right information.
