This is my first time tuning into Joe Budden's Podcast and it was specifically for this interview. Hats off to him though because this was really a Good interview. I'm so glad to see that Isaiah Rashad is in such a good place. Shit like that has destroyed lesser men. I hate when people are so miserable in their own lives that they feel the need to tear down others and make them feel bad about who they are .
Joe is so skilled at these conversations. He just has a way of pulling the truth out of people by keeping the space authentic. Artists and creatives are gonna always wanna sit down with Joe to get a message off for this very reason! 💯
"Skilled" my ass. JB had that man sitting there having to damn near defend his sexuality. JB does not have the range for these types of deep nuanced discussions. Or for any discussion really.

I think people would be pressed and focused on his sexuality but watching this overall this was a good interview. Talking about his mental health, love for comics, music, kids and his sports love. Right, I saw people on Twitter angry he was the one to give Zay his first interview after coming out but he did better than anyone else I could’ve thought of.
A lot of ppl confused as to why he sat with Joe.. tbh I get that he may rub a lot of ppl the wrong way. But Joe has always been vocal in his music about mental health, depression, etc (under media fire) and still owned up to who he was. That’s why he asks the questions he asks.. this was a perfect sit down for both of them imo. Both of them have music that serves as a vessel for the audience. Just different generations.. We need more content like this 💯💯
What a strong person to talk about all that nothing but respect bro people just need to mind their business everyone got different things going on worry about yours
Isaiah is absolutely golden, I’ve recently downloaded like 4 albums, I haven’t felt the need to skip one track which I feel is getting rarer these days. I disagree with him when he says he wouldn’t be a decent artist without his experience though because the guy can write man, and his flow is just 👌🤌🏼 I wish him all the best.
Being at his show at Coachella and seeing him come out on stage after playing that intro video proved that he is everything he’s ever claimed or wanted to be. He is inherently HIM… and in rap that can be tough with social media and expectations of being this or that. I don’t think he knows how big of an impact he’s made on the next generation of artists. And to be so open about it actively fights the stigma. Thank you Zay.
I've been a fan of Isaiah since 2016 when Sun's Tirade dropped and he's been top 5 for me ever since. I was late to hearing the news about the videos, so when I did hear, it had basically been resolved. I was really happy to see all the fans who reached out in support of him. Such a talented hip hop artist and people will do anything they can to tear someone down by "exposing" their private life. I just thank God that the US is slightly less homophobic than the past and so many people instantly supported him. I don't give a FUCK if he likes men too, it's no different than a straight guy liking a girl. It's attraction/love and it's natural. Plus his albums fucking KNOCK FREE MY BOI

@@Heavyonkim He was holding the camera while he was having something in his mouth. So there was nothing to leak if he hadn't filmed it anyway. If you don't want to be outed, I don't think its wise to film and send stuff yourself
@@cristobalbalenciaga7295and so what if he was filming? He felt it a safe space and to allow himself to be sexually free to then have it published without consent is foul as fuck. So I will have to disagree with you NO ONE DESERVED TO OUTTED, PERIOD.
@@Heavyonkim You're never in a safe space on this planet. How many million times have we seen tapes leaked? If i'm filming myself and that shit leaks, I'm part of the blame. That's why i don't EVER film myself.. Let alone in a way I wouldn't want the world to see me. We're not kids anymore, we know the risks.. LET ALONE as a celeb.
Thank you Isaiah for having the the courage to live in your authenticity in front of the world. I hope you know you are loved unconditionally and we are all happy you are alive to continue to share your gifts and inspire those who you are meant to touch. Keep shining king 👑
It’s sad I almost lost some good homies cause I still listen to him but they don’t know what his music did for me I almost ended it all him and Mac Miller helped me through a lot
Bro no way😂😂😂😂😂 no way niggas are capable of being that weird
You didnt end yourself but he will "finish you off"
If you lose a homie over that stuff they ain’t a real homie
They were never your homies if they don’t fuck with you cause your music interest
@@UnderGroundHero671 nahh I mean that video was wild but yea I feel you😂😂😂😂I don’t care either way
This has to be the zestiest interview of the year
well that's to be expected
I love Zay even more now his energy on this Is so down to earth the way he talks about everything makes me feel like im having a convo with my homies. I aint really see a Joe interview before but I really like the way he carried this talk im definitely gonna check out his other stuff.
Start with the pull up Joe's old interview series he has some great ones in there
Joe is really fuckwitable
He is such a calm soul! His energy is dope! Great interview Joe!
People on Twitter freaking out cz Joe isn’t “educated” enough on the subject… that was the point. Joe was asking questions on behalf of the common man and he was respectful in how he went about it
The fact that Joe is willing to be that guy right now 💯
And Zay was able to show that not everyone who is gay bi pansexual whatever has all the answers either. When he said "I don't even know what that is" that was like yo not everybody has the talking points all down like the people prepped for the news
So glad to see Zay havin the gut to be himself, my guy is a life changer.. As a fan I was a bit shocked when I saw the leaked tape but honestly, it really didn't bother me a bit because Zay has been there for me mostly at my lowest as my psychologist. shout out to the GOAT.
Joe was the perfect person to interview Isaiah after something like this.. amazing Convo gentleman 👏🏾
Joe was the perfect person for this interview. I know he wanted to speak on his situation so bad!
“I’m so jealous”
“Why”
😂😂🤨🤨🤨
I’ve never been a fan of Joe Budden’s vibe. But mannn I gotta give him his credit on this interview. Excellent interview.
So glad we didn’t lose Zay, imagine how devastating that would’ve been. Looking forward to new tunes 🙏🏾
Joe is so skilled at these conversations. He just has a way of pulling the truth out of people by keeping the space authentic. Artists and creatives are gonna always wanna sit down with Joe to get a message off for this very reason! 💯
Not Logic 😂😂
"Skilled" my ass. JB had that man sitting there having to damn near defend his sexuality. JB does not have the range for these types of deep nuanced discussions. Or for any discussion really.
@@TheAlphawolf6 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@carmeng440 I’d rather it be Joe than Gayle King
@@HdawgTV Gayle King would not have equated being sexually fluid with being promiscuous.
Isaiah & Kendrick are my 2 favorite rappers, when that tape came out I was shocked like damn but now I'm ok with it & I've been a fan of Zay since 2014
What’s so dope about this (IRONICALLY) is that Joe is the ONLY platform that could have handled this first interview with grace, attention & care. I ain’t even watched yet, but I know this shxt is beautiful and handled masterfully.
Joe gives some of the best interviews.
So glad he’s alive! Would’ve been deeply hurt if we lost Zay. Mean that for real!
Great interview 💯❤️
My sentiments exactly!! 💝 Glad he's great
I think people would be pressed and focused on his sexuality but watching this overall this was a good interview. Talking about his mental health, love for comics, music, kids and his sports love. Isaiah feels like the homie you can smoke and chill with, he didn’t have to do the interview but I am glad he did it
@David Rubinstein weird as hell for saying this
Let’s give Joe a hand for his interviewing skills! 🥇
Best to ever do it
@@rmxchvlet ok‼️‼️‼️
" But then I thought I shouldn't come do a interview without watching it" -Joe budden deadddddddddddddddddddddddddd, we love you rashad keep dropping
them bangers like shot you down! It's a classic.
Zay has a kind soul and glad to see he’s in a better space. Both him and Joe did an amazing job with this interview. Can’t wait to see what’s next for him. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Something off about him. Even his laugh isn’t harmonious
Seems like Zay is in a good place rn and I’m really glad to see it. Love this dude and all his work, wish him all the best.
This was a really refreshing and very needed moment. Loved it.
We need more of this. Isaiah, seems like a really down to earth person. Wishing him all the best
Isaiah is strong. I am glad he is still here with us.
Isaiah rashad personally my favorite rapper in the new school era, i relate so much to his music
You like men as well?
It feels like “Inside the Actors Studio” for hip hop! Love this!
great analogy!
Inside Rappers Studios😉
Man Joe Budden has to be one of the best interviewers out right now he keeps killing it🔥🔥
He is hilarious🤷🏽♂️
Right, I saw people on Twitter angry he was the one to give Zay his first interview after coming out but he did better than anyone else I could’ve thought of.
Him and Adam22 💯
“I’m a creator” - Joe every time he talks
This was a lot, specially having him as my favorite rapper. Was at his concert in Oslo two weeks ago. Man, this hits
We need more content like this 💯💯
Well to be fair it's kind of obvious joe took him to pound town after this was over 🤷♂️
Seeing Joe go from Mood Muzik to a podcast genius, is amazing.
What a strong person to talk about all that nothing but respect bro people just need to mind their business everyone got different things going on worry about yours
Why wasn't he strong enough to tell the women he was sleeping the truth. He's a coward
Joe once again proving he's a force to be reckoned with in Hip Hop media.
Isaiah is legit that dude 🔥🤙 this was an unreal interview
Joe is such a great interviewer. I would love to see more consistent content with just him. He could really hold his own. Amazing interview.❤️
The house is burning album is highly underrated.
Joe Budden look like a giant in that thumbnail 🤣🤣🤣
This was a good interview. Isaiah has a very calm vibe.
I respect the openness of this interview.
More content like this please Joe 🙏
Facts this one on one was fire
All his one on ones is fire
You're a clout chasing fiend who will stretch any sort of truth for a view. You have zero credibility or integrity in my eyes
This was good. Joe conducting interviews.. top tier
Very touching interview. I"m proud of Isaiah for accepting himself.
This dudes music has been amazing for my life for years. I support this man and wish the best for you and your family
When he said "Son't put that in my mouth (pause)" I almost died. 😂😂😂
48:23 the greatest moment in this interview
People on twitter are killing joe without watching the video 😂😂
Being at his show at Coachella and seeing him come out on stage after playing that intro video proved that he is everything he’s ever claimed or wanted to be. He is inherently HIM… and in rap that can be tough with social media and expectations of being this or that. I don’t think he knows how big of an impact he’s made on the next generation of artists. And to be so open about it actively fights the stigma. Thank you Zay.
Lmao Joe told this man I had to watch it before coming to this interview is one of the funniest things I ever heard
12:30
😂😂😂😭😭😭
Joe has always been an interesting person to me. Personality/humor just one of a kind.
All I would like to say is thank you Joe Budden and Isaiah Rashad you really showed me how to be acceptable of myself love and appreciate it bro
Plus his albums fucking KNOCK
FREE MY BOI
My mans said ‘three of them thangs’. Shoutout Chef Trez.
Joe is on point with this interview as usual.
For a man that says he doesn’t like interviewing Rappers, Joe Budden is a Pro at It. Great Interview💯
