From the looks of it, it looks like they ultimately settled this internally between both Keiichi and Yuji's company, since it was a copy of a failed project that had no worth, and was shot down before it could incur severe backlash or issues, and our MC decided not to pursue the theft charges on the Ex because it'd be a waste of time.
