And if you are not sure if you want to do Software Engineering or any other field in Computer Science....then CS is the best option......and if you are sure that you want to do software engineering...go for it...CS provides thorough and general Information about Different fields in Computer Science. Actually software engineering engineering is vast field Where there are alot of things you can do after graduation . However is a narrow field . But you want to be a programmer / developer computer science is best bcz after graduation you will have more knowledge about a programming but for software eng graduation you will have alot of different knowledge.

ICS walay students chemistry kesay prepare karain. We have not studied chemistry since grade 10th. 10TH take tou chemistry was very easy but how to prepare fsc chemistry for ISC students for SE SEECS.
Academics wise comsats is good for software engineering and fast is the best. But students should never judge a university by a single lens of academics, you have to count industrial linkages of university , campus life, people and talent in surroundings, alumni success stories etc according to this i would rank Lums, Nust, fast, Giki.
