I found out that killing the Atlantean Worm with a burnzooka is actually very fast, because it pierces its sections (and different from the solarite crossbow, you don't have to use a special attack with piercing, which takes longer, you just attack normally). I went with 4 summoning pillars, then killed it 4 times, and most of the time was me waiting for it come to the bait than actually fighting it.

No not really, hard mode is a harder difficulty that most people only play once they ha e experience, the base gane mode is normal so unless I was doing it in hard it makes no sence, you assume it's on normal that's the base game mode

FYI, he spawns right away after a kill. you just need the summoning pillar - or indeed another scanner to find him again.
