When my Queen Tiwa heard brandy voice and the Yoruba, My Queen Tiwa have no choice but to give a standing ovation to Brandy Tiwa will forever be my number 1 in Africa I love her beyond words
Brandy killed it,speaking Yoruba like she was born in Nigeria. I love her more, you rock it girl😘that is what I call talent. you keep giving support to my sister🥰..That’s what I call sister love 😊keep doing your thing Brandy; you are beautiful inside out.
The title should really be that Brandy sheds tears after seeing Tiwa's emotional response to her vocal contribution in Nigerian! And I for one am all here for both of these talented vocalists reactions and this standing ovation worthy collaboration!👏🏿
@Ikegbunam Emeka 😍Tiwa is fine right now but she should not gain anymore weight to lose her figure. Her fans know her as skinny songstress not big mama😶
Tiwa and Brandy really nailed the song, it made me shed tears of what some women goes through in silence but had to endure the pain. Much love for you both and I pray for love and happiness to all women who needs it out there.
Tiwa and brandy are heavenly made sisters ...I am sure Brandy who is my best artist is from Yoruba land . She needs to go do the DNA .....lol I love the two starts from Africa
this collaboration is amazing and so powerful! (as an African American) I think it's really important to understand how poignant and special this collaboration is, to all black people but I think even more so to African Americans.. and I'll explain why.. and this is something maybe black Africans and or black people period who weren't born in America should understand, and that is that African Americans, myself included, since I am African American, I can speak from my own personal perspective.., Due to the monstrosities of the slave trade in America, we as African Americans on so many levels have been stripped of our African ancestral connection and roots.. Most of us still don't know what parts of Africa our ancestors come from as a result of American slavery.., Our African ancestors weren't even allowed to keep their original African names when they were brought to America and were counted as mere cattle.. so it makes it almost impossible for most African Americans to trace our roots to specific African tribal families and or specific African familial names etc.... We as post slavery African Americans, are descendants of African slaves who were brought to America by force and intentionally made to disown their very roots and African identity in order to be conditioned to subservience. This strategic and intentional attempt to strip African slaves of their African roots has left so many of their offspring, African Americans, to feel like strangers in our on "home".. imagine being "home" all of your life yet always feeling like an uninvited guest.. for many African Americans, that's sort of how it feels being born African American, a descendant of African American slaves .. We as African Americans have had to go to great lengths to accurately educate ourselves as to our ancestral roots and have had to carve out and create an identity all while being raised in a country that was never designed to embrace and or respect us as full human beings.. and that has proven to be a great challenge..and has caused and causes great turmoil and conflict within many of us. Trying to fit in and conform to European American westernized ideals of beauty, all while trying to embrace and accept our inherited ancestral African features as being beautiful and worthy of celebration.. in a country that has historically tried to downplay our African beauty and worth in mainstream American media.. American mainstream media has always intentionally down played Africa's greatness, it's beauty, it's wealth, it's richness, it's magic has always been downplayed to American viewers and that was done intentionally to control how we as African Americans see ourselves.., to prevent African Americans from realizing that we come from kings and queens and unarguably the greatest continent on this planet. So when I see Brandy crying at Tiwa's reaction to hearing this record for the first time, I understand it on such a deeper and personal level.. I can literally weep for days.. she understands the struggles we have endured as African Americans in America, furthermore what all black people have endured and continue to endure worldwide, she understands how powerful, profound and how full circle this moment is.., but also how powerful a statement this union makes.. And I guarantee you out of all the amazing projects Brandy has been apart of and out of all the great things she's accomplished in her life, and there have been many.. but I know this project will go down as one of the greatest and most profound moments in her career/life.. In spite of all that has been taken from us as African Americans and black people period, despite how America and American mainstream media has tried to down play our greatness, how America has attempted to separate us from our ancestral African roots during the days of slavery in America and through the years proceeding slavery in America on up to the present.., Despite the injustices that have occurred over and over and over again, and the injustices that continues to occur against brown people in America and all over the world.., this collab represents how far African Americans and Africans have come in our journey to reconnecting and mending back together our broken and separated points.., This colab is bigger than just any random record on the radio, this in a sense is about the reuniting of a separated people after 500 plus years... which is why this moment is such a poignant and an empowering moment for all black people but specifically for African Americans.. It feels like 2 sisters reunited after haven been separated for 500 years.. and it feels like what's being said is "we are one in our very DNA, no matter what, we are one in our very DNA my brother, my sisiter.. this colab feels like "Hello arabinrin mi, Hello arakunrin mi, Mo ri ọ ninu mi ati emi ninu rẹ ati pe a jẹ ẹbi, Mo nifẹ rẹ, Mo padanu rẹ(Hello my sister, Hello my brother, I see you in me and me in you and we are family, I love you, I miss you
