This guy is a genius. He knew he was very unlikely going to get any dragon, but he went there marketing his product impeccably. And I now can see he's doing well.
well the dude is the most stoic ive ever seen on these shows. Ive never seen someone took so many nos with such a open door mind that ive ever seen. Its like everything went perfectly well despite the dragons not wanting to invest
He got exposure and great feedback nonetheless
The way he turned Peter's opinion around halfway through was masterfully done - one of the best comebacks I think I've seen from one of these pitches
I’ve never seen anyone intercept Mr Jones from going out like that. Very professional young Man
He will do well in life. Great attitude ❤
Damn, I'm kind of saddened that he didnt end up with a deal. He's fantastic
What a cool guy. Go get ‘em Mark.
A lot of times people back the entrepreneur. I don't understand why this wasn't the case for this one. He had solid answers didn't stumble. The sales come with time but so does the ridiculous evaluation that they complain about when it gets traction.
Impressive young chap!!
Peter : opening mouth ready to breather fire
This guy : would you just close your mouth for a second
Peter : reasonable request, sure
Brilliant lad, great demeanor and pitch. Decent valuation too and the amount of money he asked for wasn't too high, was worth a punt!
This guy is a class act!
id need to drink 9 million of these to get a dunt, and for that reason "IM OUT!"
What a brilliant 24 year old! ❤ Bright future ahead of him!
I genuinely want to try this!
Very impressive young man. Can't believe no one took a punt on him
You’d think Peter would know 0.5% was non alcoholic
Very smart guy.
What a nice chap. Hopefully he'll do really well.
Been watching this show for many, many years. This is probably my favourite entrepreneur so far. Excellent product too.
Edit: I’m genuinely disappointed for the guy… Really would have liked to see him get an offer.
The slogan for Impossibru should be - "Impossibru: Conquer the Impossible". Really good branding!
3 likes in 4 months, suggests the branding sucks 😂
Can wait to try it when you expand to the US.
Smart Dude! Well done!
I've just ordered some off the website 👍👍 looking forward to having a drink 👍👍
Thinking about trying it... does it actually relax you?
Hey how was it?
Dude is ahead of the curve. Non alcoholic drinks are all the rage right now. The price point is on the low to average end of what it would retail for in N. America.
wish I was smart like this guy when I was 24
Only real memelords will remember the impossibru meme
I was searching through the comments looking for this, when he said that I literally loled
Im surprised no one invested!
Handsome chap
How aren't half the questions about the formula and how it claims to induce whatever affect it says
Exactly, because the dragons are buying the bullshit and are in love with the image the guy presents.
Hops, c'mon now, Stephen Bartley, thats like saying you didn't know grapes are used for making wine.
7:37 this guy has the anime-glasses guy power!
DID HE SERIOUSLY CALL IT IMPOSSIBRU !
that's a hilarious name!!!~ that's what I'd say to sound cute!
They’re gonna regret this..he’s amazing and i really want to try this drink
after his exit, that dragons talk in the end is what rich people talk when they blocked you for entering the millionaire club.
Love it! I'm out
x5
I wonder if "Impossibrew" was intentionally meant to sound like how some Asians would say impossible?
HAHA Geniusss
So much this
I was thinking the same thing, ala South Park.
I think he just wanted the exposure. The investment would have been nice but he's going to get loads out of this anyway 😊
Id prefer shandy anyway 😁
The company is currently valued at £3.2m after fundraising. Looks like the dragons dropped the ball on this one.
Non alcoholic just means very low alcohol.
0.5% alcohol in bananas.. and in orange juice!
that's a really big surprise! I learnt something new today!
7:39 guy is an anime protagonist
8:40
dragons made a mistake with Brewdog. I hope the mistake is repeated. I drink this stuff, its excellent. I hope it does really well.
45k chump change to a Dragon !
money talks
Companies house: He had £8,274 cash in 2021, 2022 he was at £635,000 - And on their social media you can see they have a huge premises with loads of offices for many employees. The dragons seriously missed out here, but understandably there was a risk for them!
Their filing address is a virtual office, they have like one employee and the figure you mentioned is importantly not profit! All other signs point to the business not doing well.
The dragons were wong to not invest
No one asked how it relaxes you?
Banana 🍌 has alcohol…OMG… this can’t be true
Alcohol production is just one of the aspects of the fermentation process.
Yeah but not enough to get drunk. Your stomach would be full before that
I’ve been drinking non alcoholic 4 years now most people are taking tablets because I’ll Health examples tumors Dibettes cancers. And more . My daughter has cancer @ the age 38 . We have no choice in life but we love non acol I won’t watch this on tv program anymore.
I like Asians, good to see him. I'm also 24 🇨🇦
if it was organic and had other ethical arguments underpinning it the price would have been ok
Hi I’m Jenny, and I love booze. For that reason, I’m Stout
When did Will Smith join Dragons Den?
When he dropped out of school for not knowing what hops are....
Too much competition, this is going no where...
A lot of the competition's offerings taste like 💩 though
Glad he won't listen to you.
He managed crowd funding of 700k and has a 750k turnover business with 630k cash in the bank forcasted to be multi million dollar turnover for next year
I can’t be only one not buying his liver and drinking to much story. Complete BS. Just said it to try have a back story
Everyone talking about how he overturned Peter's argument, but he was actually very wrong: he said proof of online sales translate to offline retail sales, but that is completely false: when people see competitor bottles side by side on a shelf with one clearly being an outlier, the decision of the customer is then way different from going through an exclusive web sales funnel augmented with lots of advertisement. So he might have overturned Peter, but he won't overturn me ^^
Why is Steven so patronizing? Just say you're out without delivering a patronizing lecture, thank you.
He was not patronizing, youre just too sensitive
He took it very well nice broke
He takes it up the batty
I don't believe he came to England not knowing a word of English, when Hong Kong residents give their child a Christian first name they are making a statement that this child is going to be multi-cultural
Indeed English is very much the second language for most Hk residents, and taught in schools from a very early age.
Your part on English is correct; young HKers speak very, very good English these days.
But the name - his Chinese name (given by parents) won’t be Christian. His English name will likely be self-given in his teens / at some point during studies. Extremely common in HK.
Interesting this is all you could comment on little Englander.
The chicks liking it is a big red flag.
Ethereum 👍
I know she didn’t just get on live tv talking about calories in that big suit
She's thick ngl
He looks like he's never had a strong drink in his life. And maybe he aimed it at that age bracket because he himself would prefer this over the real stuff.
He literally said he had medical issues so he can't drink actual alcohol what are u waffling about
@@thealien_ali3382 He said he had to stop because he was drinking too much and that was causing "medical issues". Believe that if you want... and pay more attention.
What is it about him that makes you think he's never had a strong drink?
Congrats to this guy, he now turns over $400,000m million dollars anally!
NO!
The only person getting turned over "anally" is yourself
what, is there a source to this?
😂😂
Anally??
Quran 112
Yes! Markie boy!!! Go Harrow! My boy got a double first from Claire College, Cambridge! Great guy and really, really smart. Markie, it’s Cotty! Let’s have a pow wow and gets the boys on board. Dragons you never deny us old Harrovians!
£39.99 for 12 is a bit steep
What an incredible young man! What will he come up with next? Nicotine free cigarettes!?
Many possibilities indeed! Non-melting ice creams. Sugar free doughnuts. Cocoa free chocolate. Non-moving cars. Slim drug gunz in the den...😅
I have seen these advertised on Facebook, they are a rip off lol
What does "Rip of lol" mean?
@@00Kuja00rip off. It means they're not good value.
@@00Kuja00 duh... rest in peace of laugh out loud
@@saintjimmy456 I got that, but not its meaning...duh...
he meant rip off which at £40 for 12 it certainly is, you can get 24 cans for £15 of lots of beers, non-alcoholic beverages
Not sure he even wanted investment, I think he got what he went in for. Very subtle & very clever.
