Never installed a grounding bushing on a greenfield connector feeding a transformer. Usually only use them when using a rigid steel pipe or conduit between meter can and trough or service panel. Nice conduit runs. We were not allowed to use motion detector sensors for controlling luminares in any electrical room or switchgear room. Had guy working on top of not wired in 13KV equipment and the motion sensor could not pick him up and ended in the dark probably 30' from the step ladder to climb down. I always carry a good LED bright flashlight in my shirt pocket.
Clean work. You have to have everything done right down to the tiniest of details because it will get spotted like the XO ground. Bad practice to be in a hot panel or even low volt without the proper PPE. No loto? Heck with bragging on your work if your in the hospital. It only takes a half an amputee
It’s a step down from High voltage to Low Voltage, the panel it goes to is low voltage and the panel that feeds the transformer is a high voltage. Sava?
Greetings John, with the knowledge you have you shouldn’t be watching crazy video like this since you are so smart. The world know that xo must be bonded we we didn’t have anymore crimp lug at the time but if you notice a space was there on the mechanical lug for bonding, anyway if you don’t have anything positive to say, please stay away from this page. It’s all about positivity over here thank you, sir.
@@adventurousdiyguy With all due respect, if you cannot take constructive criticism, you shouldn't allow comments. You have to accept the good and the bad. The criticisms are actually justified because the main bonding jumping is CRITICAL and that fact that there's no mention of it in your video is a failure on your part not only while recording the video but also while editing the video. Bonding and grounding is so much more important that the ungrounded conductors and that's where you should have started; just like when you wire up a receptacle. Instead of PVC, you should have used EMT to keep the conduit uniform, especially being exposed in the electrical room. Attention to detail is very important and any these oversights are the things that lead to failures in electrical systems.
Dude your knitpicking everyone in electrical calls it pipe, no one says conduit unless your straight out of school. If you knitpick over that my goodness I don’t think guys enjoy working with you 😂 Let me guess if I said grab me a meter your gonna hold up the whole job just to correct me 😂
XO not grounded?
Excellent work true tradesman for sure 👏 👍 👌
What’s up with not bonding XO?
Those guys looked like theyve bonded pretty will wym

Where's your main bonding jumper?
Very observant I ran out of crimp plugs, so I add that last minute
No system bonding jumper which means you don’t clear faults. ☹️
Trust and believe it’s there I was out of crimp lugs and I fail to mention it in the video but great observation that mean you are pay attention 👍
Bless up mi G , that’s a tough job but you the boss 👊🏾
U got 2 bond neutral to ground fam.dont 4get
Why? I thought you only do that for main disconnects
@@tylerzichterman1463because it's a separately derived system.
So that a step down transformer you are powering a circuit breaker panel is it a step down or step up?

Good work son
Nice banger ✌️
Hi from Southern California
Wow😢 no L.O.T.O brave souls here. Rem ya have a family at home. Good job on quality, just not so safe smh.
Wah gwan how can we link up
Anytime which part of the world are you?
No transformer pads ????
It’s on a rack
👍
What jurisdiction is he under? So many things wrong by 2023,2020,2017 nec
Don’t forget to ground your XO bud!
Yah I didn’t I just shot the video before I had the wire, but should mention it in video one love
@@adventurousdiyguy I want to know how do you bond it?
Congratulations you have failed. X0 is not bonded and you can only use 1 ground conductor and that 2 barrel lug is a no no here in Massachusetts.

@@adventurousdiyguy That's why i did not subscribe to your channel. You are going to get some one killed or hurt.

Yes sir that pipe and flex is awful I would not even leave a mess like that awful
As a fellow electrician, please stop referring to "conduit"as pipe.Plumbers run pipe,we run conduit. Thanks in advance.
As a fellow electrician, stop being a bitch and get over it.
So do you call EMT Tubing? Do you bend and run tubing?
Go home
