    Looks good. More mass is nice until you have to take it somewhere!

      If I need more mass I guess I can add weights but so far it is working fine. Thanks Chris

    What do you think your total cost is for this newer version of the workbench?

      If I had to start from scratch the total cost would be around $40. $25 for the vise, $10 for the oak and $5 for the dowel. I found enough 2x4 and 2x6 in the dumpster to make a new top, the tool well and the base so that material is free. If I had to buy the lumber as well total would be roughly $100

    Kind of uggy but checks all your boxes and pretty clever.
