I first heard this song when I was 15 or so years old and I loved the reggae upbeat with the almost honky tonk slide guitar. Never heard anything like it before and still haven't realistically. The lyrics hit a lot harder now in my 30's.
Same here. they’ve been an obsession of mine since I bought the first “give ‘em the boot” back in the day. I’m gonna see them for the first time in a couple of weeks here in Amsterdam and after 20 years of fandom it’ll be the best night of my life. I already know it
Watched them in CA they were flawless had a drink when Vic was at the bar hes very cool Dave and the rest of the band chilled outside on the balcony all were way friendly definitely my favorite Ska band! A lot of my family from Brooklyn and Mom born in Queens Falciano family.

This song is amazing, I can listen to it any time! The best guitar Jay ever did!
Jay does not play on this song / album. He wasn't in the band yet. That's TJ, the "original" guitar player.
@@bellevilleint And the Pedal Steel Guitar was performed by Dave Graboff
