He even admits he looks similar. Ofc it might get annoying, but honestly they commented once and moved on. Not even to his face. Also, It's not just knetz, anybody who sees him for the first time will potentially have that reaction. You mean to say nobody else should comment on this thought? You're assuming these mcs keep up to date on his articles and shows. It gets old because we as fans hear it a lot but to a new person, it's an interesting fact. this is my first time hearing that english is difficult to memorize. you dont need to memorize. just keep on reading, look up for the definition, and you'll eventually get accustomed to it since you keep on encountering the words.

But he's a smart cookie, and I think I saw the other part of the show where he did pretty well.

Someone can see him at the first time and say that he looks like a Dicaprio. It's a normal, because this human didn't know about this. All make mistakes and it's a normal. However as fans, i think the joke should be off limits to us, Seventeen's members know each other better than we do and they know their boundaries, if Vernon had an issue with the joke, he can speak to them in private about it, but he would probably feel uncomfortable calling Carat out for it.
