Band BIO:
Dinmukhammed Kanatuly Kudaibergen, known professionally as Dimash Kudaibergen, is a Kazakh singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. He is university trained in classical as well as contemporary music, and is known for his exceptionally wide vocal range. He has performed songs in twelve different languages. He gained significant popularity in Kazakhstan and other post-Soviet countries in 2015 upon becoming the Grand Prix winner of Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk, Belarus. He rose to fame in China with his participation as a "wildcard competitor" in Hunan TV's Singer 2017 finishing second overall.

-Is university trained in classical and in contemporary music.
-Is studying Mandarin and English.
-At one point, Dimash was offered a position at the Astana Opera, but instead he decided to pursue a pop-music career and inspire generations

The melody and tone have a light emotional excitement. "I'm leaving!" - Dimash sings. Yes, half the world flew away with him with this song!!!! (and I was with them!). Dimash is well able to involve the audience in the presented story. He's a good actor. People go into a trance to his voice. The stage image of Dimash is always interesting, but there is a special moment in this song: Dimash acts as a romantic hero and gives out the dance rhythm of modern music. This wasn't a live concert of his. The "New Wave" is an International singing competition, founded by Igor Krutoy (in 2002) it lasts 5 days in Sochi, Russia every year. Dimash performed 5 songs total, spread out on different days. The competition was in the middle of the week (3 days) and he was on the Jury - judging. So he only sang 1-2 songs on any given day. That is why they were announcing him afterwards. His premiered songs - Stranger was done on opening day, he sang Fly Away in the middle of the week and Ave Maria was the Finale. He also sang "Your Love" and "I Miss You". 4 of the 5 songs were composed by Igor Krutoy and Fly Away is his own Original song. Thank you for continuing to react to Dimash !!!

New Wave is actually an annual competition of young singers held in Russia. Dimash was one of the judges. Dimash and judges presented their songs at the opening and closing of the competition. That is why they announced his name. It was not his concert.

It wasn't his concert, it was a several day festival so most of the performances were on different days. Before every song they announce the singer and then talk a bit after the performance. Especially it was long with Dimash 'cause he had to collect all the flowers 😁

The New Wave Festival consists of a row of concerts over a week. A part of it is a contest for young singers. This year Dimash has been one of the judges. He sang himself five songs (three new ones) on different evenings. That is why every artist is announced several times.
By the way, Dimash took part in New Wave as a guest in 2018, when he performed “Sinful Passion (Грешная страсть)” and “Adagio”, which is often reacted to.
