Still using my WP6 this vid mentioned at the start and have had one major problem, the phone won't powerup if I leave it on charge too long --then it does and "why" is still a mystery. However, I love the fact that after all these years (bought it new) the only minor scuff on the unprotected glass is when I dragged it beneath a pallet jack w/heavy load. If the Oukitel WP 30 PRO has upgraded internal issue (I have to assume it was isolated or I'd see more complaints about it - feel free to let me know) I'll be leaning towards this purchase. Not crazy about this particular patter design but being artistic, I can workout something better there. Thanks for this vid because Oukitel has never been my prefered brand since I fell head-over-heels with rugged phones years ago, but somehow they seem to win out.
I have oukitel wp20 its camera is not good in low light. His LCD has a purple underline. It's less than two years. I have been using it for a year. His underline really interferes with the LCD and my vision.
the problem i see is, chinese companies often lie about stuff. so, is it what it says it is? doubtfully. so, then you must wonder...what are they lying about? it's likely going to be something. or maybe it's just all chinese made parts, and the likelihood that they'll malfunction fairly quickly or sooner than one might expect is pretty high. then you might be spending another $500 on a phone a year later. since it likely has no warranty or insurance that means anything. imho, I'd rather buy a different phone with my $500. imho, I wouldn't feel comfortable spending more than $275 on that phone, and if it crapped out on me in a year or less, I wouldn't be too angry.
You have a point, because many Chinese manufacturers don't have after sale support. But I know many people who have been using Chinese smartphones for many years and have no problems.
Ha! I find that the ones that don't lie are quite decent and based their success on quality and long term word of mouth. American companies lie much more.
un fortunately trusted brands are shit quality too and underpowered, laggy, slow, with small battery. like samsung xcover, cat. gotta see reviews on some 5 yo chineese rugged phones and see who holds up
