Cliff playing Blackened 😵This all feels like a weird dream where I go see Metallica at the local school picnic, and they're Metallica...but not quite Metallica...
For us that were fortunate enough to see Metallica back in the late 80s early 90s remember the guitar tones, the on stage energy, Lars playing in time and Kirk actually nailing solos. These guys done it.
For all of us who missed Metallica back in the day, this band absolutely awesome!!They have the energy that Metallica are missing 30 years now... Good job guys!!Thank you !!
GTFOH, Metallica is still fantastic live and they are near 60 years old across the board. Don't be dumb, you can elevate this tribute band without shitting on the OGs.
Double bass is killing the camera mic :D You are absolutely incredible, Metallica is Metallica now, but the energy you show is Metallica threefold! And that's my favourite song, Yea-eah!
This was a MILLION times better than I was expecting it to be. I loved everything about this, really felt like I was watching James and Cliff in the 80s. I'd definitely go see these guys live
Ok this band needs a TON more recognition. They should be playing much more than a freaking picnic!!! The guitar tones, the looks, the outfits, the energy. Its all there! Hopefully these guys are seen more.
I saw them on the justice tour December 1988 cow palace San Francisco it was killer show. I also saw Ozzy diary of a madman with Randy the first show of the tour December 29 1981 cow Palace..my first concerts. I have seen so many great shows there it seeing Randy play was the highlight.
That was the first show James played without his cast on his arm after his Skateboarding accident and Cliffs last. So for one last time they got to play as " Metallica" before it all changed.
@@andysalter7192 Yeah. I'll never forget my dad waking me up the morning after telling me about the accident :( It was such a freaking good show though!
Sick, good job boys !!! Seattle '89 performance energy & vibes. Damn. You should put up a HQ audio version or a studio cover, this would rock even harder.
I've seen these guys live and they are absolutely the epitome of old Metallica. And they're a bunch of really really cool dudes. I'm glad that they're getting more and more exposure. And they're just sounding better and better not that they sounded bad at all when I saw them a few years ago but I guess practice makes perfect. One hell of a good job blistered Earth, keep doing your thing guys, I'll see you when you roll back into town.🤘🤘
I have seen Metallica from clubs to arenas...you guys capture the fire they had in the clubs moving into the Arenas...Kill Them All...Ride The Lightning...Master of Puppets time frame...Excellent Gents 🤘😎
Thanx for that... I heard this song 1st time on the way back from school @ my neighbours house. 2 Brothers who where 5 years older as me and they where sooooo cool ya know. All what they made was so cool in our eyes. So i was in the Hasselhoff \ Jackson periode in live and as i ask them about this music they showed me SEATLLE 89. it was almost a religious experience. I was 10 and sayed to myself. I wanna play guitar. So, long Story short. AJFA changed my life - made me to an metalhead and a musician. Thanx for that....my fav song of all times after let it snow hahaaaaa
Totally agree with the Bass Player doing Cliff,it like a weird dream playing Blackened, and the guy doing Lars with a mic 😂great song one of my fav’s the solo is awesome great job.👊🏻🤘🏻🎸
hell, even the james headbanging is spot on and i'm glad that they did the after-solo riff correctly. metallica changed that bit on their live performances back when they still didn't cut the solo and the riff
Oh man that Cliff is throwing me off on Blackened 😂 Like, this is totally Cliff Em All -esque footage, but with the Jason windmill from Seattle ‘89. Very cool though. It was a dream of mine from the time I was 14 back in 1991. Can’t believe how many tributes have popped up in the last 7-8 years. It’s insane. They’re getting better and better.
Wow that was absolutely amazing !!! great to see the band young again, espcially cliff ( R.I.P ) I wanna see Ride the Lightning and whatever other songs you played !!!!!!!!!
Ill go see you guys before I go see the current metallica! I stopped being a metallica fan after LOAD... broke my heart to hear that shit come from the band I use to love. Still play the fuck out of the first 4/5 albums. You guys sound like the old school metallica great job🤙🏽
This was good! Good likenesses too. And even though he was gone with that album came out, your guitarist on the far left side, makes a pretty good Cliff Burton, imo. :)
This has been sitting in my recommended for like 4 days now, so tonight I finally decided to check it out. I feel like I stumbled into some strange alternate dimension. These guys have talent though, no doubt, they sounded great, but the dedication to the cosplay side of it... wow.
Cliff playing Blackened 😵This all feels like a weird dream where I go see Metallica at the local school picnic, and they're Metallica...but not quite Metallica...
Thats not Cliff. Cliff was better
@@maggoking5747 that’s probably not James Hetfield either 🙄😳
@@dslife1 no!? what you do not say! of course it's not james hetfield or metallica. I didn't say it was cliff either.

Really? Wow! What about Kirk? Is that Kirk?? Lars?? Geeeeeeeez.
For us that were fortunate enough to see Metallica back in the late 80s early 90s remember the guitar tones, the on stage energy, Lars playing in time and Kirk actually nailing solos. These guys done it.
Yea it's pretty good. I saw Metallica justice tour December 18 1988 San Francisco cow palace with queensryche opening. What a show.
Like Lars doesn't still play blackened much better than this.

Imagine Metallica being filmed in 4k back in 1986,the videos would be another level to watch.....
As a massive Metallica fan all I can say is thank you. This is absolutely incredible.
For all of us who missed Metallica back in the day, this band absolutely awesome!!They have the energy that Metallica are missing 30 years now... Good job guys!!Thank you !!
All bands lose their energy when they get old... Especially thrash bands
GTFOH, Metallica is still fantastic live and they are near 60 years old across the board. Don't be dumb, you can elevate this tribute band without shitting on the OGs.
@@truthhurts79 Not Cannibal Corpse
@@Kevin.Kelly. if you saw them in the early days they have.. plus they're younger than Metallica
So you expect bands to have the same energy they once had? Doesn't work like that buddy.
Double bass is killing the camera mic :D You are absolutely incredible, Metallica is Metallica now, but the energy you show is Metallica threefold!
And that's my favourite song, Yea-eah!
It's cutting out because the camera mic is right in front of the speaker they are standing right in front of.
Totally destroying it, lol.
That's because Metallica are in their 60s, and these guys are in their 20s... Nobody could beat Metallica's energy in the 80s
@@truthhurts79 But even Metallica now is amazing. They still bring tons of energy.
@@berylmgage09 ya but nothing like the 80s

Ok this band needs a TON more recognition. They should be playing much more than a freaking picnic!!! The guitar tones, the looks, the outfits, the energy. Its all there! Hopefully these guys are seen more.
Bassist is a pretty solid mix of Cliff and Jason. Like, Cliff's asthetic with Jason's headbanging and vocals
Cliff had banger backing vocals though. Can be heard several times during Creeping death played in London 1986.
At 4:17 and onwards you can hear Cliff on backing vocals screaming 'die'
ruclips.net/video/OMeZCQ_MIs4/видео.html
Cliff headbanged like no over saw all 3 bass players over the years
Closest we'll all get to seeing late 80's Metallica. Awesome job lads 👏👏👏

Go see The Four Horsemen sometime. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
The real Metallica is closer.
Life Long Metallica Fan right here. This is one of the best tribute bands I've seen. Bad Ass!
All I have to say is that I watched this video with a huge smile on my face. You guys killed it.
1:46 loudest drum kick ever
Yeah but you can see that they tuned the kicks waaaaaay low. The resonant head of the one kick we can see is moving so much.
Me currently thinking of John Bonham (especially in When The Levee Breaks)
Holy crap! You guys nailed this! High energy AF! Tremendous performance!
From the home Evel Kneivel I’m told 🔥🪓
This is really cool! Metallica fan since Jesus walked on water and I was at Cliffs' last show in Stockholm. I'd love to see these guys play live!

Its like i stepped in a timemachine and got in an alternative universe where cliffs still lives and lars still uses double bass awesome 🤟🤟
Much respect to these guys using the intro
Not sure what more you could ask for from a tribute band! Very good. If Hetfield and Hanneman had a son together it would look like this dude. hehe.
You did the transition at 5:26 better than MetallicA themselves. Bravo 🤟🏻
Yup
I agree mate, not sure what that other clown is listening too
Because Metallica doesn't play for the love of music any more. The used to.....30 years ago. But now they play for their ego and the money.
@@frankferriolo9212 you obviously never seen them live.
Because they're doing it exact to the album. Metallica doesn't
