@@christopherbingham5092That’s pretty much a massive missed opportunity the show could have explored in season five had Nate stayed on, or season four if it was focused on the aftermath of Harvey learning and remembering the truth. He had so much magic done to him without consent (remember when he was pregnant?) that it should lead to trust issues as well as exploring the ethics of using magic on mortals. Alas, the show skipped over such a storyline.
If the show would try to teach about the ethics of consent with using magic on mortals or even other witches, we wouldn’t have more than half the plots of the show. No one in the show cared about consent with magic especially towards mortals. Obviously you can’t even ask them for permission without blowing the no telling mortal rule. They just make up some stuff that’s apparently illegal or more harmful than other spells. Like it’s illegal to give a human a higher intellegence and the aunts warned against and weren’t fans of Sabrina messing with mortal people in their dreams.
Her appearance is obviously literally based off the most infamous witch known to all media (the wicked witch of the west). No shit they were going for irony given she’s presented as the kindest witch in the Spellman family and in general in the show.
