My 19 year old son with DS makes our hearts sing! When they told me after he was born that he had DS, I said that I will just love him even more! I’ve often said he has UP-Syndrome, because of how happy he is 😊❤️
That's the most wonderful thing about a child with Down Syndrome. They teach us how to love and bring joy to others. Thank you for sharing this message with the world.
I have been blessed in my life to have known and worked with multiple people like Jack and can confirm without a doubt that they are the bundles of sunshine and unmitigated joy and kindness you see here. Even when sad or frustrated, they will look for the silverlining in a situation because as I was told once, “Why should I be sad forever when mom made tacos…?” ❤ I wish we all could appreciate and embrace life in such terms.

He was born with spina bifida which is usually accompanied by hydrocephaly. His 2nd birth defect was Craniosynosthosis (a craniofacial deformity)! Lastly, he was born with microcephaly.
