Hey GT, 2 fun facts about the game: #1 - The game's creator is Rui Guerreiro, and he is Portuguese. That's why the little girl in the game speaks Portuguese (from Brazil). It's not a Brazillian dub: in any country, the language is the same. #2 - Rui Guerreiro worked for 7 years with director Fumito Ueda (Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, The Last Guardian), which is why the game has the same vibe. "When a person gets used to something, it's hard to give up," he told me by email. ;)
Did he have anything to do with the game "Vane"?? The art style of this reminded me SO MUCH of Vane that I had to look up if it was the same dev (it's not)
Ah I was looking forward to this one. I think I'll wait for a sale. Definitely want to experience the world and art style, but the gameplay doesn't look captivating or varied enough and the short play time makes me wish it were a bit cheaper. Thanks for the review, man!
For sure but I think what were missing is the biggest difference, HDR!! sometimes HDR is stunning in psvr2 though at the same time, we can get so used to it we forget how good it is.
Seems like the type of game i should pack a fat bowl of some DANK before i play. Though since its a puzzle game, there is a chance of me struggling 😂😂😂 i remember that happened to me when i played Scorn. Or at leaat it seemed like i was taking longer to solve puzzles but idk
No headset haptics or Sense controller feature use then? It is definitely overpriced in the UK at the equivalent of $31. It is shame really as I had skipped the PC VR and Quest versions which I am sure have been on sale for around 7 quid. Thanks for the review.
@@GAMERTAGVRam I the only one that drives crazy? I absolutely cannot stand how rarely headset haptics are used. Its my favorite feature of psvr2 I mentioned it once on reddit and everyone agreed with me but I just don't get why devs still under utilize headset haptics If there was a mod to make all vibrations go through the headset I would. Thats how much I like it.
I played it back in the day on Oculus and it was a nice game but very underwhelming: too repetitive and not particularly fun or interactive. It was just nice enough for me to finish it but mostly forgettable. The artistic style is cool but there's not much more to it. Comparing this to the masterpiece that is ICO is like comparing my singing in the shower to Sinatra singing at MGS. It's a nice addition to PSVR2's catalogue, I guess, but that price is hard to grasp for such a short and limited game.
@GAMERTAGVR strange. I had just bought it and it was 19.99 for me (NA). I felt that was still kind of high, even though I like games like this. Afraid hearing 30 may turn people away, sorry 😊 15 would have been nice for the 2 hours it took, but 30 would have been a no buy for me

There is a noticeable difference on the PSVR2..looks so much better but that’s because it has more horsepower.

Just to point out, Mare is available with a Viveport Infinity subscription on PC, if anyone still uses that.
Have they had a "Mare" with this?
Thanks GT I enjoyed this one on Quest back in the day
Nice! It’s good to see new players getting to experience this
I keep forgetting I bought this a long time ago on Quest! I still need to try it! It does look lovely!
It’s a good experience for sure
"GG GT!" 👊😎
GG my guy😊
Are all your reviews on a PS5 Pro now?
Yes. In my opinion unless there is a Pro patch there is little to no difference
0:50 PSVR2 3:17 Quest... umm looks much better on Psvr2.
Why would it not?
@@Smuggers.it definitely looks better on PSVR2

Decent controller haptics but if there is headset haptics I never noticed them
That's an insane price for this game. I got it for €8.39 (half price) on Steam which seemed a fitting price for what it is.

$20
Ahh I checked Reddit and most said $30 for PSVR2
