    Bramble looks a lot like my first mouse, Vincent. The very pale ginger then molted in with grey. I love mice so much. My 3 little ladies have come around a lot recently, it’s truly wonderful when they fully trust you and even seek you out. 🥰💗

      That’s wonderful! Yes I agree, it’s the best feeling! One of my girls - Billie - was terrified when I first rescued her from someone who was keeping her in a damp box in the dirt outside 😳😭 it’s taken since last year, but she finally trusts me 💕

    I was looking fit a video to show if there are different breeds of fancy mice. One of mine looks slightly different yet she seems to be more oriented towards caring for the other mice and not so close to me and my wife. However, this recently changed after 3 months owning her. She’ll finally let me pet her and will sit and eat when I put her in my hand. But her face looks more elongated than my other 3 mice. The rest have a wide face and short nose.

      You’re right there aren’t many videos on this topic I should cover it. Lots of blog posts around. It’s hard to say without looking at her. What colour is she?

    hi! I LOVE UR MICE!!! i have 2 pet feeder mice and one of them is so outgoing andd happy, but the other ones back is kind of humped up and he.she is not moving or eating. There is probably not a vet for these types of mice. Please help!

    • @MiceAndRatEnrichment
      @MiceAndRatEnrichment Год назад +1

      Hey! When you say feeder mice do you mean mice you’ve rescued from being feeders? The type of vet they would need is a vet that specialises in exotics, but if there is no exotics vet you could take them to a regular vet and they will at the very least be able to prescribe some pain relief, or find a specialist for you. Poor little thing does sound unwell 💕

      Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. ❤ and yes, feeder mice meaning i saved them from being eaten. I will try my best to find a vet for him!

    Do mice bite often, I've mentioned before I own rats. One day I might try mice. But I don't know much about them. I will research all year and if I still feel it, I'll see x

      The sandy coloured one is a Brindle. Badger the black and white mouse is I think probably a Piebald. 😊

    Always rescue mice..
    Add value to existing life
    Don't bring more life into this world

      I definitely prefer to rescue where possible to give them a home, however my Spinifex hopping mice for example have a colony and are under a license so I don’t rescue them but allow them to breed. So I think it definitely depends on the scenario but yes it’s very easy with house mice to suddenly have too many to care for properly if breeding.

    Is it true Mice won’t jump off of you because they can judge depth perception and so won’t jump from a height?

    • @MiceAndRatEnrichment

      In most cases they won’t, however I have had one or two who did jump from a height. Hopping mice on the other hand have no fear 😆
