Russell Small & DNO P bring you Earworm, their superb new album, featuring an incredible array of dance music royalty. Twenty-five years after Phats and Small’s global hit ‘Turn Around’, Russell Small is still bringing you some of the very best feel-good dance music, together with original prodigy of the Brighton scene, Dino Psaras, aka DNO P.
Earworm offers an unparalleled blend of catchy rhythms, engaging bass lines, and disco-infused melodies guaranteed to set the dance floor alight.
For Russell Small and DNO P, collaboration has always been a key part of their music, both with each other and with a plethora of incredible artists. Earworm is a real “who’s who” of music, featuring some of the most iconic vocalists such as Ultra Nate and Lulu, alongside recent stars such as Peyton, The Illustrious Blacks, Reigns, and KIM of Diamonds.
Long term collaborator Katherine Ellis provides vocals on the stunning reworking of the 2016 Freemasons hit Nothing To Lose. Whilst Freemasons singer Amanda Wilson returns sounding as soulful as ever. Russell Small also rekindles his musical partnership with sublime Phats & Small singer Ben Ofedu, for the first time in years, celebrating the 25th anniversary of Turn Around
Every single track on Earworm is an earworm in its own right. Well crafted, soulful, catchy and produced to the high-fidelity standards of the nineties. Classic yet contemporary, Earworm is an essential addition to your music collection, bringing the best of Russell and DNO’s careers whilst firmly looking into the future.
Earworm is an album born in Brighton. The fun-loving seaside town is a place close to the hearts of the city’s natives Russell Small and DNO P who first met in the 1990s. The album also features Brighton multi-instrumentalist Gabriella Kaye.
Further the Brighton & Hove connection, Russell Small is hosting the Elevation album launch event at Brighton i360 on September 29th with an all-killer line-up including fellow Brighton & Hove local Carl Cox plus live performances from several of the album’s guest vocalists: Ben Ofoedu, Katherine Ellis, Amanda Wilson, and Suki Soul.
