I’m in Vancouver Canada 🇨🇦 and also , here there are tons of chair rentals self employed. I opted out bc of the favouritism and lack of leadership from management. Stacked with same salary ! Now I’m making the same $ with only 50% labouring Time. I do take care of myself now. I’m happy. I do charge $75-80 shampoo, cut, blow dry - I only offer full salon services. I do pay monthly chair rental. Working or not I pay.
