When I first started listening to her I kept wondering why she wouldn't sing louder and stop all the whispering....now I have seen some interviews and see she is purposely trying NOT to sing over the music. To basically let her voice become just another instrument in the band. A reporter explained she is singing the way she once danced...becoming part of the music. Pretty cool...
I can't. You people are so eager to call something "demonic" when it sounds very different from what you hear on the radio. Her lyrics are meaningful and sexual. None of her lyrics are demonic. Her sound may be odd but it's not demonic, it's futuristic. And as far as the video goes, here is the true explanation: This video tells a deep story of a woman who loved an evil man. She was the only one who saw the good in him, despite his evil actions. That's why, when he's being put on death row for his crime, she is there whispering "I love another and thus I hate myself". She loved him, and in return she was hurt by him. He had to be taken from her. In this sense, she "hated" herself enough to love him. Once "Video Girl" starts playing, twigs is the hallucination that the man is having as the drugs put him to rest. She is "haunting" him, "seducing" him. She is the reminder of everything that they could've been but, because of his evil choices, are not. The short clips of the man bleeding from his mouth is symbolism for "eating your own words" or actions in this case. The man did evil things, blood resembles evil, therefore he is getting a taste of his own medicine, literally. However, this could be the man who perhaps the man being put on death row hurt or murdered/ injured. Hence why he is bleeding from the mouth, looking deathly. People often bleed from the mouth when shot or stabbed. Her music may be an oddity, but in 10 or so years there will be even stranger shit and this will all make sense. Instead of shaking your head at this, try to get the underlying meaning and at least respect the fact that we have a female figure in music who refuses to conform and is comfortable making music that pushes boundaries and redefines what is popular. Thank you. PS: music is subjective. Technically, just cuz you don't "get it" doesn't make it bad music or even weird music. The way music is consumed is based purely off the consumer.
FKA twigs began her career in music, not as a singer, but rather a dancer for various artists. Her most popular work was under British singer Jessie J preforming in her music videos for “Do it Like a Dude” and “Pricetag” (as a marionette). She quickly gained a reputation among the industry as being “reliable” and a “one take wonder”. Although she was excellent in her craft, twigs wanted to go another direction - towards the creation of music itself. When she made this dramatic shift, however, her reputation as dancer still followed her. Strangers would still ask if she was “that girl from the video”, due to her wanting to break free from this person she would evasively answer with a short lie, “no”. According to an interview with Pitchfork: “ …“Are you that girl from the Jessie J video?” I’d always say “no,” and they’d be like, “You’re lying!” I’d say, “No! It’s not me.” They’d say, “You look just like her.” And I’d be like, “I know. So many people say that! It’s weird!”
I mean, I think the video makes sense. Having “Preface” as the opening song shows how she has become an independent artist and is no longer a dancer (“Preface” was entirely produced by her). Having the man die could be a metaphor for a potential break-up and Twigs dancing around him shows how she now haunts him, even when he’s gone. The idea of never being forgotten is presented in songs like “Two Weeks” as she sings about how she’ll make him forget about his past lover and power and independence is presented in songs like “Kicks”. It could also show Twigs’ infatuation with the man and how she’ll never leave him, as shown in songs like “Hours” and “Pendulum”. Either way, she still can’t completely get through to him, because he’s dead. Not getting through to the other person is shown in songs like “Numbers” and vulnerability is in songs like “Lights On”. The version of Twigs on the outside of the glass who sang “Preface” is like the creator of LP1, the Twigs dancing around the man who sang “Video Girl” is the persona of the album, both infatuated with the man, but also has power over him. The Twigs with the diamond on her head is the album itself. Almost human, like how the album is almost pop, but there’s something different about it (The mechanical and industrial sounds, scattering beats and experimentation). In my mind, the video shows the creation and concept of LP1 as a whole, therefore a departure from Twigs the dancer as a dancer and an introduction to Twigs the artist. Therefore, matching the overall theme of the song “Video Girl”. Not wanting to associate herself with the past, but pushing herself to a future she wants and being taken seriously. At least, that’s my personal interpretation anyway. You can obviously interpret it however you feel.
Her voice, the way she moves, her dancing...all the small subtleties...she's not just a musician, she's a performance artist. The dignity in her bearing is apparent in the way she carries herself. Twigs gives me hope not just for music, but for art itself. And it is because of Twigs' music that my husband gets laid way more than he has any right to expect. Do that shit, Twigs, you're so so amazing!

As a survivor of abuse at the hands of a loved one, i’m reading new meaning into this song and video. It’s a very intricate trauma to be abused by someone who’s intended role in your life was to love you. It changes you deeply. Often times you don’t know how to feel because it feels as if your emotional self has been split into two conflicting parts. Part A is characterized by a belief that the abuse you’ve been dealt is your own fault. It insists the burden lies on you to be more amicable-more compliant in order to earn your abusers love and feel safe again. Part B woefully disagrees and is characterized by a righteous belief that nobody deserves abuse and harbors protective, often rebellious anger over the fact that your abuser is able to hurt you so and get away with it. These parts battle for dominance inside an individual’s psyche until a winner is chosen by the individual. It is a sad and often unfair fight though. Part B, The protective and rebellious part, is more often than not neglected by the individuals conscious mind in foolish, counterintuitive, counterproductive attempts to please the abuser and avoid further abuse. FKA twigs is my hero because she symbolically represents these conflicting parts of an individual who has survived abuse at the hands of a loved in this music video. If you rewatch you may see that Part A is the Version of her crying as she watches her ex-lover be executed. The scene centers her as we hear the words “because I hate myself I love him”. Part B is the version of her that appears in the corner of the execution room almost hauntingly and dances on her ex lover is dying body to the music of his agony. Part B is liberated part B is free Part B has reclaimed her self love ❤️
There are so many ways this video can be interpreted. And I love that it's clay we can mold to our own perspectives, while gaining closure and relatability.
One of most unappreciated and and underrated artist of our time. She has it all with her music, voice, dance and pure artistry. Female Prince of our time! So far ahead of her time, it will take decades for the masses to appreciate her.
In my perspective the video and the song are actually connected. It's about her dramatic shift from a back-up dancer to an artist. FKA twigs began her career in music as back up dancer rather than a singer. She was known to be reliable and the one hit wonder. She wanted to make a shift, however her reputation followed her. Strangers would ask if "she was that girl from the video" but because she wanted to break free from this persona she'd lie and say "no" The video portrays an obsessed man, he has photographs of FKA twigs hanging on the wall behind him. Photographs are just snaps of a certain moment, the fact that he's hanged them behind him shows that this is his perspective of her, and he loves it. It also showing his unhealthy obsession of her. This is how FKA twigs felt when trying to shift into being an artist. The obsessed man, being society/directors they had an unhealthy obsession with her as a dancer which made it hard for her to pull from the back-up dancer persona. The video cuts to a scene where her body starts moving, she starts to dance, however she's carrying a facial expression which suggests she feels like she's being forced to dance. Eventually, she conforms. Once Video Girl starts to play after he's set to die and starts to hallucinate. It shows his hallucination of FKA TWIGS, as she dances around the room, which is...what he believes she's set out to do/what he prefers. Then it skips to the scene where a man is bleeding from his mouth, mirroring the phrase "biting your words" as she breaks eventually breaks free from her persona. A phrase from the first verse of the song "Please, you don't stand a chance. Stop acting like you can" suggests this is what she's heard. And now they'll bite their words and bleed. It also shows as she's on top of his body that she's mirroring the action of stabbing someone (killing societies view of her as just being 'the girl from the video') It also shows the microphone symbolising music, she sings into the microphone on top of the almost dead/dead body (which is the persona she's finally killed) basically a video just showing the struggle of breaking free of her back-up dancer reputation persona which was holding her back from becoming an artist.
Even if you don't like what you are seeing, you can't look away. Even if you don't want to hear it, you can't stop listening. That's what I like about this.
In the deep bowl that's filled with the fruit of Bjork, Kate Bush And now fka twigs... Are so many voices I have yet to discover. They touch my mind and my soul and my cup overflows.
I love how she's ever evolving. She puts the art back into music and music videos. There are so many different messages that she portrays, that it's hard to have one interpretation. I can't wait to go to her concert, so she can take me to another world. LOVE FKA TWIGS
Emilia Carr Stop playing with you. Child please, kiss my grits because no one is. Anyways, she is white ? What are you talking about. And what do have to do with anything?
Sharjjahn Aziz ok well when i said "stop playing with me" i didnt mean it in a malice way. Im just saying i had no idea they dated at one time, and it would be awesome if they still dated. and shes actually half white half BLACK.
Emilia Carr Oh....my bad lil homie. I thought she was white or Persian ? But I look her up on Wikepedia....and I read what her ethnicity is. Pretty girl. I hope she goes far, knowing how competetive the industry is.
I feel like an idiot for not listening to her earlier😭 my binge listening fka oh my gets better each time. First song was two weeks, pendulum, cellophane. She is amazing
Was she the girl that's from the video? You lie, you lie, you lie Nineteen, too keen Looking at the game, though Trying to make a stand for the main squeeze Please, you don't stand a chance Stop acting like you can The camera on you ain't enough? You're looking for the all round good love So nothing's gonna get in your way You're gonna get yourself broke one day Was she the girl that's from the video? Stop, stop lying to me Was she the girl that's from the video? You lie, you lie, you lie Nineteen, I see A body that can move, the hardest in the room With a quick switch, kiss Got all eyes on you now What you gonna do? The camera loves you, ain't that enough? You're craving for the whole universe So nothing's gonna get in your way You're gonna get yourself broke one day Was she the girl that's from the video? Stop, stop lying to me Was she the girl that's from the video? You lie, you lie, you lie Got something to say? I don't want to hear about it So you feeling the fame I hate, the things you're going through now What you gonna do? Was she the girl that's from the video? Stop, stop lying to me Was she the girl that's from the video? You lie, you lie, you lie You lie, you lie, you lie I can't recognize me
She's so talented. It's sad how we discourage one another being all human. It's sad how people discourage her knowing they couldn't even fathom this talent...people talking down Can't sing... dance... Can barley be peaceful. This girl is magical. I've been listening to her music for a year now. Its demonic? Let this be a damn music video please. See some positivity instead of negatives. Shit... This society is demonic. The things people do to each other. Her music is the least of our problems. She's beautiful.
It’s crazy I can’t go back to many songs I’ve played the hell out of from years ago. This one I can always come back to. It was literally ahead of its time.
+showerdeaf The tattoos have really nothing to do with a crime someone has or will commit, he probably got the tattoos after joining a prison gang for protection.
Not many artists we hear from the UK, but when it happens holly shit they are talented as hell!! This girl is just a knock out on most of young famous women out there.
My interpretation of this is the guy with the A.B tattoo killed her boyfriend (the guy with the blood dripping from his mouth) and had some kind of obsession with Twigs (Pics on his wall and sees her as he dies) but may also reference to the actual songs meaning of the clash of who Twigs wanted to be vs what became of her after being in Jessie J's video and becoming that "girl from the video." The man who killed her boyfriend represents the negative attention that came from her backing dancer career, and the chain outfit can also link in with the do it like a dude video's costume theme. The "stop lying to me" could also link with the White dude's persistence and obsession with her. The I can't recognise me at the end shows the original twigs watching what's happening from behind a screen, maybe representing a psyche. Just a jumble of thoughts- this is my fav Twigs video by far.
+Gracie Rose I love this video too. Very moving. I was thinking maybe that was her boyfriend and he had killed the man who was bleeding, she was watching him during the lethal injection, as the victim's of the family watch also. Her being the girl from the video could be because they were only allowed to speak through a video screen during his incarceration. Just a thought
Music to my soul... always get chills no matter what I listen to of hers... I've been going through a lot of needing to self heal... and I thank her for helping me through these times. I've built so much strength because of it!
I always loved Aaliyah. Miss her in this world. She was very talented and she had that 'vibe' about her. I mean she was an actress and did roles for Ann Rice etc. Aaliyah had that natural mysterious flow about her, imho.
She's not the "black" anything? She's an entire genre on her own. The comparisons to Lana and Grimes are inaccurate as hell and completely unnecessary.
RUclips recommendation brought me back here (thanks YT!). This song in fact the whole album is genius. I can’t believe its 8 years old! I saw her perform the songs off this album at the time - absolutely mind blowing!
ok so: the guy kills twig's boyfriend (or brother or whatever) and is put on death row for it. twigs attends his execution and fantasizes about singing and dancing over his corpse, but by the time the injection finally kills him she realizes she gets no satisfaction from it. not sure how to relate it to the meaning of the song but w/e
Well the guy could be a crazed stalker who watch and recorded Twigs? Seeing that the guy he killed must've got in his way or it was one of those cases of "If i can't have her than nobody can"..
allegorical tale of Salome, the empowerment of women, the relief death brings to the lost, she dances to guide his soul south, way way south.... I like your interpretation, yet the Salome storyline permeates. The killer being put to death is an allegory for humanity, the femme, a symbol of earth... or maybe it just has sex appeal. Normally not a fan of this sort of music, but chanced across this track, and I really like it. There's something beguiling about the track, and also about her, she's utterly beautiful but otherworldly. Some real creativity for a change, a break from the churned out talent show trash, love it
It's pretty simple. The man getting executed is a representation of the "old" FKA - note the pictures of her younger self behind him, dictating he represents that form of her. Travis, now working with her, is a representation of her new self - forced to conform to the music industry. "Is she the girl from the video?" Behind the glass is this new, non-edgy version of herself that's forced to be tame for the industry. Listen to the damn words.
This is artist... for ppls who don't understand, don't judge.. Everything what she say.. every move.. voice.. sound.. have meaning and there is a reason for that.. who understand he will understand.. She is not mainstream girl who will make songs to earn money and be popular in high schools.. Twigs is artist.. :) Don't judge what u can't understand. Anyway i love her songs and i listen them every day over and over.. She's perfection in every possible way.
I guess you don't think about the victim's loved ones much when the murderer is given the death penalty. You don't think of them sitting there watching the murderer getting his just dues. You don't think about them celebrating the death of another life, as they mourn the loss of another. I know they aren't really celebrating, but it sure seems that way when they make a spectacle of it and then you have a literal translation of Twigs dancing over his dying body. It just sends shivers.
I think the song and video is about how her ego has taken over and she's now 'the girl in the video' that she doesn't even recognize herself anymore. Some sort of demonic egocentric force has taken over hence she's willing to dance over/on top of dead innocent corpse in order to perform. The real her watches on the other side of the screen not knowing if she likes/knows who she watches on the other side. Interesting take on the performative side of her character but then were all just performing anyway. Where does this egocentric(perhaps demonic) force come from? It raises lots of interesting questions and explores many different ideas. I think she's awesome and this is probably the most interesting song lyrically and the most experimental video thematically . Her whole buzz is quite performance arty in my mind but great to see a popular artist with a bit more depth and exploring interesting facets of their personality.
Why are the top comments always so negative? She did such a good job with this video (and all her others) and clearly puts alot of feeling and thought into her work. So sick of pointless assholes.
FKA twigs, this was so emotional,, you put your heart into this and i feel exactly the same.. Thank you for sharing your fishbowl under the sun.. always means a lot to me..
probably no one will read this, but Twigs is such an amazing artist. When I first saw this video I was so confused and honestly didnt like it. But now, all of a sudden Im obsessed with everything twigs has ever put out. And she is now one of my favorite musicians. just wow

It also shows as she's on top of his body that she's mirroring the action of stabbing someone (killing societies view of her as just being 'the girl from the video') It also shows the microphone symbolising music, she sings into the microphone on top of the almost dead/dead body (which is the persona she's finally killed)
basically a video just showing the struggle of breaking free of her back-up dancer reputation persona which was holding her back from becoming an artist.
Even if you don't like what you are seeing, you can't look away. Even if you don't want to hear it, you can't stop listening. That's what I like about this.
vfw2
no. that's not what he/she said AT ALL. read it again.
She's a total package artist. Very talented. I love her songs.
In the deep bowl that's filled with the fruit of Bjork, Kate Bush And now fka twigs... Are so many voices I have yet to discover. They
touch my mind and my soul and my cup overflows.

This is literally the list of my favorite artists ever
Can never stop coming back to this. Twigs makes such timeless, unique, inspirational music.
And visuals.
Travis Scott is always somewhere looking possessed lol
Birds in the trap sing at mcknight
So you like the album or are you hinting at the cover-art there?
IΔN ĐΔฬŞØN Haha, Both. He is a God and Twigs is a Godess
IΔN ĐΔฬŞØN LMAOO exactly bruh!!
so it is him?
I love how she's ever evolving. She puts the art back into music and music videos. There are so many different messages that she portrays, that it's hard to have one interpretation. I can't wait to go to her concert, so she can take me to another world. LOVE FKA TWIGS
I had no idea travis scott and twigs worked together. Epicness.
They were in a relationship together as well for 4 years.
Sharjjahn Aziz Stop playing with me. Foreal??!! She left him for that white boy? THEY WOULD BE AN AMAZING COUPLE!!!
Everything she creates is beautifully thought-out, constructed, and challenging. She is defiant with every movement and musical note. Bless her.
I feel like an idiot for not listening to her earlier😭 my binge listening fka oh my gets better each time. First song was two weeks, pendulum, cellophane. She is amazing
0:51-0:57 needs to be a gif. That part is so sexy and amazing. It feels like it came from a movie.
factss
@ 3:25 best part of the whole video, when she climbs on top of his body then sings into a mic. She is such an amazing, talented, and TRUE artist.
Was she the girl that's from the video?
You lie, you lie, you lie
Nineteen, too keen
Looking at the game, though
Trying to make a stand for the main squeeze
Please, you don't stand a chance
Stop acting like you can
The camera on you ain't enough?
You're looking for the all round good love
So nothing's gonna get in your way
You're gonna get yourself broke one day
Was she the girl that's from the video?
Stop, stop lying to me
Was she the girl that's from the video?
You lie, you lie, you lie
Nineteen, I see
A body that can move, the hardest in the room
With a quick switch, kiss
Got all eyes on you now
What you gonna do?
The camera loves you, ain't that enough?
You're craving for the whole universe
So nothing's gonna get in your way
You're gonna get yourself broke one day
Was she the girl that's from the video?
Stop, stop lying to me
Was she the girl that's from the video?
You lie, you lie, you lie
Got something to say?
I don't want to hear about it
So you feeling the fame
I hate, the things you're going through now
What you gonna do?
Was she the girl that's from the video?
Stop, stop lying to me
Was she the girl that's from the video?
You lie, you lie, you lie
You lie, you lie, you lie
I can't recognize me
She's so talented. She's beautiful.
true .. ruclips.net/video/YReihZ7XNhA/видео.html
i love her music and she's very beautiful
Still listening to this song on the regular in 2024. I just love her.
It’s crazy I can’t go back to many songs I’ve played the hell out of from years ago. This one I can always come back to. It was literally ahead of its time.
So we just going to ignore that deathdrop....?
+Manii OvO LMAOOOO!!!
When was it?
+Manii OvO good name for it
+Radfox lol that's what it's actually called
No honey that death drop was everything
This video is so intense...especially when you think of the people who are given a death sentence for a crime they actually didn't commit.
+SweetAmber exactly
+SweetAmber i thought this at first but then i saw his tatoos lol
+showerdeaf The tattoos have really nothing to do with a crime someone has or will commit, he probably got the tattoos after joining a prison gang for protection.
+890wiley but aren't the tatoos from a racist group? idk after i saw them i felt like he was sentenced to death because he actually killed a black man
+showerdeaf the Aryan Brotherhood is a prison gang and they are extremely racist, so he most likely did kill the black man.
Her voice is just too hypnotic!
Everything about her is hypnotic *-*

twigs is a true artist. in so many ways.
FKA twigs and Banks should get together and do some awesome music together
YES SHE REMINDED ME OF BANKS
Honestly
5 years later i agree
Intriguing concept as always! She is a very brave artist. She has NO LIMITS when it comes to ART of MUSIC!
+Gracie Rose What Jessie J video was she in?
+Gracie Rose I love this video too. Very moving. I was thinking maybe that was her boyfriend and he had killed the man who was bleeding, she was watching him during the lethal injection, as the victim's of the family watch also. Her being the girl from the video could be because they were only allowed to speak through a video screen during his incarceration. Just a thought
+Rodrea Mackey she was in the Do It Like A Dude and the Price Tag videos :)
+Lynz Lot that's a really interesting concept!!!
this explains alot.😀😀 thank you so much lol i like this song alot, so understanding what it means now, i like it even more. 😉😉😊😊
She's so eccentric, theatric, creative and eerie. Love, love love, all of her music.
Music to my soul... always get chills no matter what I listen to of hers... I've been going through a lot of needing to self heal... and I thank her for helping me through these times. I've built so much strength because of it!
Wow she is beautiful

MY FAVORITE SONG RIGHT NOW OMG.

Creative spamming, congrats
No.
I seriously can't get enough of her
y’all I just started listening to her music ten minutes ago and i’m obsessed holy shit
New fan here.
Im digging the oddity....
Kinda across between Bjork, kate bush, and something else.
..Aaliyah,perhaps..
Tamara Miller ah I totally forgot about her.
I always loved Aaliyah. Miss her in this world. She was very talented and she had that 'vibe' about her. I mean she was an actress and did roles for Ann Rice etc. Aaliyah had that natural mysterious flow about her, imho.
Tamara Miller They both are January 16th born
Tamara Miller to bad her career sink to the bottom of the ocean
She's not the "black" anything? She's an entire genre on her own. The comparisons to Lana and Grimes are inaccurate as hell and completely unnecessary.
One of my favorite FKA songs.
Massive Attack should definitely make a collaboration with FKA Twigs
RUclips recommendation brought me back here (thanks YT!). This song in fact the whole album is genius. I can’t believe its 8 years old! I saw her perform the songs off this album at the time - absolutely mind blowing!
Goddess FKA Twigs performing on earth
perfection in every second
cosign
I absolutely love her but this video scared the shit out of me. Still, I couldn't take my eyes away. Perfect combination of twisted + sexy.
My Top 3 Favorites Are:
1. Viedo Girl
2. Numbers
3. Water Me
+Ajiah Ci Pendulum
+Ajiah Ci How's that
Lights On was good from this album too
She's such an inspiration. I like her originality.
I’ve been hearing this song in my head and oh my god everytime I listen to it I can’t describe
ok so: the guy kills twig's boyfriend (or brother or whatever) and is put on death row for it. twigs attends his execution and fantasizes about singing and dancing over his corpse, but by the time the injection finally kills him she realizes she gets no satisfaction from it. not sure how to relate it to the meaning of the song but w/e
Deep as we look or shallow as we want, I love it... ~~*^*~~
"Au Revoir Cold Pulse (R.I.P.)"
Deadly is as deadly does.
I play because I am the cause.
All the same at the end of the day
~Au revoir, cold pulse; ~ R.I.P.~
Beyond dark rumor,
Past what gossip tells…
Truth is beyond the Penny Dreadfuls.
Truth isn’t there…. what the papers say.
Au revoir, cold pulse. ~R.I.P.~
I hear the balladeer strum…
I know the end -a song he plays.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy WILL be done~
Kill what’s in the way.
Au revoir, cold pulse.
R.I.P.
Deadly is as deadly does.
I dare because I am the cause.
Dress the wounds, hide the scars…
Fresh off the hangin’ tree.
Katie -bar the doors, they’ll be
no more.
Au revoir, cold pulse.
R.I.P.
~it begins again~

mETALHEADS, take note. This is metal AF!
Taste 💕💅💅
If I'm ever executed, I hope FKA Twigs shows up and dances around my dying body.
grimes and fka twigs need to collab..their sounds are so similar, it would be so good
im so proud of my 13 yr old self that listened to this on constant loop 😌
Another unsettling but stellar video. All that needs a video now is Pendulum, but I'm sure that's already underway.
i love this bitch
+sasha jean She is very light skinned..
Sharjjahn Aziz ok
+Sharjjahn Aziz okay and?
+Sharjjahn Aziz what does that have to do with liking twigs?
+Sharjjahn Aziz who the fuck cares tho
preface makes me feel like a godess is singing directly into my soul and I am literally ascending.
Normally not a fan of this sort of music, but chanced across this track, and I really like it. There's something beguiling about the track, and also about her, she's utterly beautiful but otherworldly. Some real creativity for a change, a break from the churned out talent show trash, love it
This song is just so beautiful
This is 5 yrs old and I have never noticed Travis Scott in this until now ❤️
If you wanna skip the Intro if you'd like, the actual song starts at 2:00
What do you mean? the beginning is the best part. If you think that way never dare to listen to Tricky or Bjork
Lol
Too bad i didnt read u before :(
Okay, I haven't watched the beginning. Can someone tells me what happens in the beginning?
Ritsukaberry lol fucking watch it
don't be silly and just watch the whole thing theres a beginning for a reason
Years later, still a cinematic achievement
I love the beginning part of this song. I wish it stayed that way.
This was the first song i listened to of hers. I was 14.
this music video is scarier than any horror movie on Netflix.
da artist of the decade
It's pretty simple. The man getting executed is a representation of the "old" FKA - note the pictures of her younger self behind him, dictating he represents that form of her. Travis, now working with her, is a representation of her new self - forced to conform to the music industry. "Is she the girl from the video?" Behind the glass is this new, non-edgy version of herself that's forced to be tame for the industry. Listen to the damn words.
Thank you cuz I really couldn't get the whole concept
Loving the contemporary dance bits 😩
i love her dancing so much and i'm not sure why. it's just so intriguing and different wowie.
I am obsessed with FKA Twigs I love everything about her. Please leave Rob and marry me?
Lakota Kinuwan lesbian
This woman is a queen
i am so obsessed with her hair
FKA TWIGS IS DA BEST
So glad i discovered her, her music, dance moves, lyrics, all ofit is pure art 😍😍😍
Why are the top comments always so negative? She did such a good job with this video (and all her others) and clearly puts alot of feeling and thought into her work. So sick of pointless assholes.
FKA twigs, this was so emotional,, you put your heart into this and i feel exactly the same.. Thank you for sharing your fishbowl under the sun.. always means a lot to me..
r3320ca who is the one on your profile picture?
With no doubts I can ensure that this is one of the best artists of the world, nowadays
probably no one will read this, but Twigs is such an amazing artist. When I first saw this video I was so confused and honestly didnt like it. But now, all of a sudden Im obsessed with everything twigs has ever put out. And she is now one of my favorite musicians. just wow
Her dance is iconic as hell
almost 2 years ago when I first watched this video I knew that she was something special & was gonna become a unique force in the music industry. ever since then I've been obsessed with her. she's by far my favorite artist and I can't wait to see what see has in store for the future! ♥
I dont know what she's on but I want some
