Just wanted to let you know I made a small error when writing the script when referencing the lowest cost of a Turnip from Daisy Mae and confused it with low cost offers from Timmy & Tommy. Daisy Mae sells turnip for between 90 - 110. Where as Timmy & Tommy’s lowest offer is 15. Thanks to everyone who noticed and corrected me 🥰

I'm glad that this exists. All last week, I had the absolute worst prices, with one day going as low as 25 BELLS PER TURNIP!
In City Folk, I had like 40 turnips, and they were like at 200 bells each and I bought them for 90 each so I was going to bury them for selling later, I dug up the hole, grabbed the shovel and dragged the 40 turnips onto my character, I thought it was going to bury them and it just wildly ate 40 turnips at once

When I was trying to put my turnips in storage, I got into a rhythm of pressing the a button. Next thing I knew, I ate my turnips and giving myself a feeling of shock and disbelief.
That happened to me in city folk, but instead of that I was going to bury them, I had the hole open and the shovel in my hands, then I dragged the turnips onto my character expecting it to bury them and it just wildly ate them all at once
But the maximum you can eat is 10, I wouldn’t call it a big loss.
Austin Jenner You can only eat one stack, so you only wasted 1000 bells, not a huge deal really.

*IMPORTANT*
If you are time skipping *DO NOT* go back in time within the same week ever! The game will detect this and automatically spoil all your turnips!!! Play it safe and only skip time forward no matter what!!

It's pretty rare though. 200 is the most you'll generally see most of the time.
Your turnips will rot after Saturday though, so you can't really hang on too long. If you haven't sold all of them by Saturday PM, you need to sell at a loss. Making back 50% of your investment is better than 0%, after all.

Went on Twitter today and just went to someone's island who was selling them for 540
I bought for an insane price of 92 per turnip, used this graph. Let me tell ya, it can really screw you over just as much as it can help. The whole week it tells me to wait till Friday am for massive profit. After Thursday pm price was entered, it then tells me the best day to sell was Tuesday for 163 bells a turnip and that I'm gonna lose a bunch of money. Awesome be careful everyone

Not really 😅. There is a website where you can find players that post the turnip prices on their island. Ranging from 90 bells to 600 bells, but you have to join a queue and wait till it’s your turn to get the code. I made tons of bells lol
This is cool in concept but this calculator needs a lot of work.
It's really only good at guessing the very next day, which can be troubling when the best price ends up being day 1.

Been accurate for me so far. Worth mentioning though Friday and Saturday prices are often below the projected average for me so unless the average is fairly high I'd recommend ditching them before then, Wednesday seems to be a fairly consistent sweet spot.

Loved the stalk calculator for new leaf. I wonder how similar the patterns are for new horizons
From what I can tell they use the same sets of patterns. There are: Decreasing, Small Spike, Large Spike and Fluctuating (random).
It looks like the general rule is if you haven't hit a spike by Thurs PM, sell ASAP to mitigate loss. That, or use social media/fan sites to find someone who is having a spike on their island. The latter route can be lengthy though, as everyone wants to queue for the highest paying islands.

there is more than just that, we found an app that you can logon to a website so you can trade supplies, furnitures or asking ppl to plant your lawn etc. It depends on how ppl wanna experience the game, and without knowing how to predict it, me and my friends will share price together so we can sell at his island:)

This tool is nice, but stalks.io is even better. It has a slightly less clear graph, but offers the same trend predictions and has a killer feature: you can create a username for you and add your friends, so THEIR information also shows on your graph. It’s awesome. I can know what’s the best prediction for the week both for me and for my friends, and so everyone can go and sell at the very best price than anyone of us can manage that week. It’s pretty amazing. Stalks.io is basically the multiplayer version of this turnip calculator you’ve shown in the video.

this seems actually pretty useful and is a little more intuitive than turnip prophet. I can easily tell where my best times are on this, whereas it took some work with prophet (though prophet is a lot more specific on patterns.) I came to the same conclusion (Thursday is where my best prices start, but Friday is the most likely day. High is a little over 200.)

I had no idea prices changed from am to pm... I will never financially recover from this
One day I was time traveling because I was broke and needed some bells. I bought 1,500 turnips and they were selling for around 109. I wasn’t getting any numbers higher than what I bought them for - other than 110, so my last resort was selling them on that Saturday for 51 bells... lost more than half of my money so I decided to do it all over again. I bought 800 turnips this time and continued time traveling. I got really low numbers between 30-60 and thought all hope was lost... BUT THEN I asked for turnip prices mid-week and it was like 397!! I ended up getting my money back and then some! I was so excited haha 😂

This tool is not quite accurate... I have already kept track this week of prices and found it's ranges incorrect. Tuesday night it said the highest it could get Wednesday morning was 188, in reality i jumped up to 235, off it's scale, when i put that in it claimed that the 235 was on the low end of today which does not agree with what it claimed last night...
I suspect the tool will get more accurate as people feed it more data. Another thing you might consider trying is to use multiple calculators. I'm currently using two; turnipprophet.io and stalks.io

I made 4mil bells w a friend because she had Daisymae on her island selling for 94 and i time traveled until i found a price at 300 and we went back and fourth buying and selling turnips.

you can make one person time travel till turnip prices which satisfies and then have the other one go on sunday and get turnips go to the friend island sell and repeat
I have an app on my phone that has a turnip calculator/predictor built into it. It also let's me keep track of my villagers, daily tasks and critters that are out and about in real time. You can also log all of the recipes and reactions you have learned, items you have bought, caught/ donated critters and more. It Even has a flower breeding guide and a section for you to mark which special character arrives on the island that day (flick, cj, redd, etc). I use a separate weather predicting app to get my Meteor showers and random falling starts but the ACNH Guide is awesome for housing just about everything (including turnip predicting) in one easy to use app. 😀

Animal Crossing on the Gamecube gave the highest potential returns on turnips (could get 1000+ bells per); although the stalk market only had one price change per day.
AC on the DS dropped the high range to the 500-600 bell level and had 4 price changes per day -- very difficult to keep up with. AC City Folk (on the Wii) introduced the present 2 price changes a day for turnips and kept the same high range; and AC New Leaf (3DS) is pretty much the same.

last week my turnip prices were at around 20-50 bells, and so i sold at a loss (bought for 99). This week i didn’t buy any turnips, and they ended up being around 546 per turnip to sell 🤦🏼♂️

No one can code random its based on something if you find out that something you can predict what it's going to be this is even true to real world events when you can plug in all probable values into a formula

3:08 Where did you get that number for Monday? You must have talked to Timmy and Tommy to get that 91 Bell price range. So you enter what they offer you at the AM and then at the PM to make a prediction for the following days?

I’m at 3:25 I sell my turnips every Wednesday afternoon and I get 145 bells for each turnip, I usually spend 180,000 bells and make 245,000 bells

Thanks for this. Some players are being absolute hogs and are charging ridiculous entry fees in order to sell for high prices on their island. One guy was charging people 20 nook miles Tix just to sell. That's freakin crazy and stupid not to mention the payment up front system has a stupid high chance of you getting scammed

It works. It predicted I would have a large spike this morning, and yes I did have a turnip price of 565.
So just to be clear, you don't sell anything on Monday right? You wait to see the prices so that the calculator can calculate them for the rest of the week? Then you see whats the highest? Right? or did I miss something?
