Who's the new host? Feels like i am watching a totally different channel now. Miss old Sumsub with Bradley and Emily in elegant backdrops. I am guessing cost restraints is why everything changed but I am still sad. However still love the channel and looking forward to new videos.
I’m always going to click on a video expecting Bradley sat in a chair crosslegged gesticulating and explaining in his very British accent. For me it needs to go back. I think you should have started this as a different channel. Not to be unappreciative of the time work and effort of the team putting these videos out I think it’s just difficult when you change something that’s liked by a lot of people who’ve been subscribed since the beginning. It’s like trying to remake home alone lol

Is this the promised video quality that was worth it? (The high pitch voice is so cringe.) You will still grow, but not as fast without the hosts. You could at least keep 1 host and not used elaborate set ups, I wouldn't mind having a white wall as a background with Emily or Bradley talking. 100% beats this nonsense.

I was already hesitant after the previous announcement that the hosts were leaving, but decided to give it another chance. My eardrums hate me for it, what the actual hell drove you to use chipmunk voices for *anything* in your video? At least use a decent text to speech engine, or have someone read it without asinine sound effects. It really seems like you're actively trying to kill the channel. If so, good job!
First of all, thanks Artur for being a long time fan - feedback from our longstanding fans is most appreciated. Our goal is to make the channel even better then the old format, but with that comes with a little trial and error, so during this transition period, your comments are definitely being noted. Perhaps we missed the mark slightly on the narration - we will be taking on board your criticism!
I get that you are changing the channel and theres going to be some growing pains. But this felt like a business powerpoint with some voice-to-text reading the messages, throw in some explosion animations and a persons face at the very least. Will check back in a few months to see how the channel is progressing, just need to find someone good on camera, you've got the topics and expertise so I have faith!!

When people ask me for help at work and don’t get back to me that’s exactly what I’d say. “If you’re not interested in help just lemme know so I’m not wasting my time.” Seems perfectly reasonable from a business standpoint, despite its illegitimacy.😊
I always felt I was learning something interesting and exciting with this channel before. This video is fine, but videos like these are ten-a-penny. I hope this channel doesn’t fall for the erroneous pressure of ‘frequent uploads’ at the cost of original videos. Nothing is more important than being true to your USP.
If anybody's wondering the real reason behind this likely switch-up, look no further than their corporate website and recent company hires on LinkedIn. Channel got new management and it's going to suck as a result.

Would you have stepped-down the grandiose decor and settle on something more sober, that would not have impaired the content... Its obvious why you guys changed. The production costs were no longer justified for the views you guys are getting lately. But with that said this is a shell of the content we were getting before. I've seen other people do similar videos which were much more engaging on this very topic. As long as you find an engaging host you should be fine. I'm sticking around to see if you get into a groove. But not a great start lets be real.

hi, I've been subscribed to this channel since for quite a while. I'll try to condence my thoughts into this one comment and give constructive criticism. I like the idea of this video. It might be a bit off-brand but hey, it's the new sumsub so I'll let it pass. I feel like you're digging too deep here, every detail, every instagram post or message is shown or talked about. You don't need to show us everything, I want you to feel like we trust you and you don't need to show us evedence of the whole conversation. Show us the most important stuff. Set the scene and show us the higlights of the conversations you had and why and how these people scam you. The whole video (at least for me) doesn't have any ups and downs, it's just a flat storyline. Telling your story like this isn't effective, find what's really important in every situation and give us the juicy stuff. Take Mr. Beast for example. You start the video and he tells us "this man is about to live in this circle for a 100 days. And to help him survive, here's a house". He did not show us how he built the house. Does it have a kitchen? Who knows, it doesn't matter. And right now I feel like you're telling us what materials you chose to build the house. It does not matter. For this type of content Pleasant Green is a great example and I truly enjoy watching his videos. Another point is that I think this video is wayyy too long. I work with youtube content myself and youtube wants you to create longer session times on your channel. Meaning that if people watch multiple videos on your channel in one go, youtube will promote your channel more. That's what I'm missing here. After watching tis video i don't want to go to your channel and watch another one, I'm done. Compare this to Pleasant Green's videos. When I fist found that channel, I binged like 15 videos just because it felt I couldn't get enough. Same was with the old sumsub, when I found the channel i binged multiple videos. I won't after this video. I'm not telling you that long videos are bad. They're good and youtube promotes them. But for me I just can't hold my attention for that long, especially when the story is kinda boring (even when I'm into this stuff! I enjoy wathing content about this!) basically again, it's just overanalyzed for me. I don't know if it's just me but the thumbnail isn't clickable enough for me. Of cource you'll know the CTR and I'm sure you worked hard on it but it just doesn't do it for me. Maybe take a look at disrupt or Beluga for thumbnail ideas and take a look at disrupt's channel as a whole because it seems like you want to produce similar content but they're getting massively more views so there's something to learn from them. Anyways I will stay subscribed. Best of luck to you guys, I hope you'll find something valuable in my comment. So I came here to see what happend and the channel is now missing faces and personality and does (at least in my opinion) what is the exact opposite what a good You Tube channel should be. I get that your production costs might have been too high for the number of subscribers and views you have. But you really shouldn't have gotten rid of your faces. You have a small niche that I assume isn't as easily filled with people that don't have a deeper interest in IT but personality wasn't the problem (in my opinion). People loved Bradley and Emily they were the reason people subscribed for. What you could've have done is a permanent set but keep your faces. This is in my eyes not an improvement or a turn in a better direction.
Honestly it's quite a good video. It is, however, not the type of content I subscribed for. Channels that do content like this are very common, it's an already filled market. What you guys did previously was original and I've never seen anything like it before or since. Your hosts were awesome and that's what I'm missing most: Personality. If you want to change your content, which in of itself is fine of course, can't you at least keep the hosts? Maybe you can switch between voice overs and the sort of sets you had before? Also, please bring back the iconic transitions in their full form. This is, of course, just my opinion and if you guys have different ones then I'm okay with that. As it is today however, you have unfortunately lost a subscriber. I'm sad to "have" to go. I'm gonna come back in a few weeks or months to see if anything changed. Bye

Looking at views vs assumed production costs it makes sense why you guys weren't able to keep the hosts on. I don't know what went on behind the scenes but it is a shame you guys weren't more successful sooner with your content, your hosts were very charismatic and fun to watch. Hopefully you guys do find the success on youtube and your business service. I hope Bradley, Emily and the rest of the team are doing well in this transition

This type of content is very abundant on RUclips and not what I subscribed for. The personality is gone. I'll probably have to unsubscribe, and it is incredibly sad that your channel is going down this way.
Hey! We sacrificed $50 to show you guys how scammers work and what can happen when you decide to send them your money. We believe that this money was worth spending since we can warn our audience. Let's look at the bigger picture and if our video helps even one person not fall for the tricks of scammers, then we are fine with that the fact that in the short run the victory wasn't on our side
The content is okay. But the quality has surely gone downhill. It is sure dull without the previous hosts. But here are a few suggestions. It would be better if video duration would be around 15 minutes. If they're longer, they can be split in parts. I would like sumsub to publish videos on topics you used to do earlier. A bit 'uncommon' topics, like OSINT, etc. The tts voice is annoying. And the thumbnail is rather low quality and clickbaity than previous videos.

I think realistically, it isn't neccesarily that it has to be Brad and Em as hosts specifically. It was the general feel of how they presented that made the difference. So although yes, I'll miss them, there are others that could do the same job. It's more that you totally chsnged format and are now just another random channel that has nothing different to offer. I don't even mind topics others have covered, it was the way it was presented that made you different. Without that, you're just another drop in the ocean. Even if the old presenters cannot be used for whatever reason, bring the old format back.
This is a good video, I enjoyed it. Although this is not what I subscribed to watch initially. I would 100% subscribe to a channel which uploaded this video, I highly believe this kind of video would have been better had it been made on a brother channel. Take Vsauce an example, people would be upset if Michael no longer hosted that. However compared to Vsauce2/Vsauce3 people are not upset about Michael not being the host there, since people subscribed to see Vsauce Michael on the main channel that still remains. While the other sibling channels of it are pretty much just additional supplements of content which keep the viewers tied over until their next video. Regardless, I do believe this new style of content is great. It just feels like a big change which I strongly believe would go over really well with the fans had it been done either additional videos released on the main channel, or if this new style would have gotten it's own channel, or even if the change would have been done gradually rather than just a sudden shift. I don't know how the numbers looked on your end but just from the sudden growth I've seen from the channel I would have seen this situation as an if it's not broken then don't try to fix it. TLDR: Good video, change too sudden making the show feel like it went from a passion project to just another business cashgrab, Sumsub2 please, either way I'm staying subscribed because I enjoy this content.

I just found this channel and was grabbed by the engaging hosts, only to find out that’s the change to the channel. Seems like a huge downgrade. The voice sounded like the Pac-Man voice from the bloodhound gang album. Super cringy. I gave it a chance with an open mind but playing cat and mouse with scammers? I feel like the old channel would not have suggested such a fruitless pursuit. Don’t engage these people. I didn’t learn anything I didn’t already know from all that dreadful pitch shifted voice over. If this is the new direction, it’s a massive downgrade. If this is what tickles the algorithm but high quality content doesn’t… the algorithm, or the average content consumer, is fundamentally broken. The Wild West of content creation is dead. The Industrial Age of content factories is here.
I think you’re going to have to be a lot more explicit telling people why you’ve made these changes……if it’s a case of simply not bringing in enough money to justify the production costs then I think finding investment (even crowd funding????) until the channel grows (I’m sure it will…!) is better than switching your channel to this new style. Or maybe you need to find a minimum viable product which keeps the core of the channel without losing its personality…….you seem to have a lot of support for the old content so it would be a shame to see it fade!
The original quality is barley there, and the topic and editing style are a massive downgrade; what's the point of the text to speech? Feels like all the other low-effort channels.
I'm going to be very honest here, you guys basically ruined the channel for most original viewers You just got rid of the style which the previous hosts provided which felt much more personal and unique yet still proffesional even in a corporate safe setting, I assume this change was made to make more money but I highly suspect you guys are gonna make much by basically being yet another copypaste corporate channel The previous videos had real legitimately intruiging content coupled by the elequent two lovely hosts' styles, that's what kept this channel unique, Good content which has actually good information which people don't already know, now your formula is something which obviously works but now you have MUCH higher competition because now you're very replaceable and to me it seems you cannot get too far with this other than with luck and maybe some steady and very slow gradual growth which could've been made much faster by just keeping it to how it was, im sure you guys would've reached a million subscribers in 3-4 years I hope that this gets read by someone actually working somewhat high up in the company than probably a social media manager, but that's pretty unrealistic so one could only hope; sorry if this was on the harsher end, I tried to be somewhat constructive throughout this comment
i really really want to like this channel because everyone who works on it is obviously very smart, but a video on finding out obvious scammers are indeed scammers is something your target audience is already aware of

@@Sumsubcom people subscribed to a channel focusing on cyber security are well informed of obvious scams, and the people who participated in that $770m lost are likely not even youtube users, much less subscribed or even watching tech and security channels. just sounds like an excuse for 1)wasting their writers real knowledge on cyber security and opsec- and 2) making clickbait videos and disregarding their targeted audience
I absolutely loved the stunning production value of the previous format. I'd never seen anything like it on youtube and found it very inspiring. Was it too expensive to keep making that style of content? You certainly set a high bar.

I don't know if it's just me but the thumbnail isn't clickable enough for me. Of cource you'll know the CTR and I'm sure you worked hard on it but it just doesn't do it for me. Maybe take a look at disrupt or Beluga for thumbnail ideas and take a look at disrupt's channel as a whole because it seems like you want to produce similar content but they're getting massively more views so there's something to learn from them.

So I came here to see what happend and the channel is now missing faces and personality and does (at least in my opinion) what is the exact opposite what a good You Tube channel should be. I get that your production costs might have been too high for the number of subscribers and views you have. But you really shouldn't have gotten rid of your faces. You have a small niche that I assume isn't as easily filled with people that don't have a deeper interest in IT but personality wasn't the problem (in my opinion). People loved Bradley and Emily they were the reason people subscribed for. What you could've have done is a permanent set but keep your faces. This is in my eyes not an improvement or a turn in a better direction.
Why these awful voices though?
Honestly it's quite a good video. It is, however, not the type of content I subscribed for. Channels that do content like this are very common, it's an already filled market. What you guys did previously was original and I've never seen anything like it before or since. Your hosts were awesome and that's what I'm missing most: Personality. If you want to change your content, which in of itself is fine of course, can't you at least keep the hosts? Maybe you can switch between voice overs and the sort of sets you had before? Also, please bring back the iconic transitions in their full form.
This is, of course, just my opinion and if you guys have different ones then I'm okay with that. As it is today however, you have unfortunately lost a subscriber.
I'm sad to "have" to go. I'm gonna come back in a few weeks or months to see if anything changed.

Looking at views vs assumed production costs it makes sense why you guys weren't able to keep the hosts on. I don't know what went on behind the scenes but it is a shame you guys weren't more successful sooner with your content, your hosts were very charismatic and fun to watch. Hopefully you guys do find the success on youtube and your business service. I hope Bradley, Emily and the rest of the team are doing well in this transition

The content is okay.
But the quality has surely gone downhill. It is sure dull without the previous hosts. But here are a few suggestions.
It would be better if video duration would be around 15 minutes. If they're longer, they can be split in parts.
I would like sumsub to publish videos on topics you used to do earlier. A bit 'uncommon' topics, like OSINT, etc.
The tts voice is annoying. And the thumbnail is rather low quality and clickbaity than previous videos.

I think realistically, it isn't neccesarily that it has to be Brad and Em as hosts specifically. It was the general feel of how they presented that made the difference. So although yes, I'll miss them, there are others that could do the same job. It's more that you totally chsnged format and are now just another random channel that has nothing different to offer. I don't even mind topics others have covered, it was the way it was presented that made you different. Without that, you're just another drop in the ocean. Even if the old presenters cannot be used for whatever reason, bring the old format back.

This is a good video, I enjoyed it. Although this is not what I subscribed to watch initially. I would 100% subscribe to a channel which uploaded this video, I highly believe this kind of video would have been better had it been made on a brother channel. Take Vsauce an example, people would be upset if Michael no longer hosted that. However compared to Vsauce2/Vsauce3 people are not upset about Michael not being the host there, since people subscribed to see Vsauce Michael on the main channel that still remains. While the other sibling channels of it are pretty much just additional supplements of content which keep the viewers tied over until their next video.
Regardless, I do believe this new style of content is great. It just feels like a big change which I strongly believe would go over really well with the fans had it been done either additional videos released on the main channel, or if this new style would have gotten it's own channel, or even if the change would have been done gradually rather than just a sudden shift. I don't know how the numbers looked on your end but just from the sudden growth I've seen from the channel I would have seen this situation as an if it's not broken then don't try to fix it.
TLDR: Good video, change too sudden making the show feel like it went from a passion project to just another business cashgrab, Sumsub2 please, either way I'm staying subscribed because I enjoy this content.

I just found this channel and was grabbed by the engaging hosts, only to find out that’s the change to the channel. Seems like a huge downgrade. The voice sounded like the Pac-Man voice from the bloodhound gang album. Super cringy. I gave it a chance with an open mind but playing cat and mouse with scammers? I feel like the old channel would not have suggested such a fruitless pursuit. Don’t engage these people. I didn’t learn anything I didn’t already know from all that dreadful pitch shifted voice over.
If this is the new direction, it’s a massive downgrade. If this is what tickles the algorithm but high quality content doesn’t… the algorithm, or the average content consumer, is fundamentally broken.
The Wild West of content creation is dead. The Industrial Age of content factories is here.
I think you’re going to have to be a lot more explicit telling people why you’ve made these changes……if it’s a case of simply not bringing in enough money to justify the production costs then I think finding investment (even crowd funding????) until the channel grows (I’m sure it will…!) is better than switching your channel to this new style. Or maybe you need to find a minimum viable product which keeps the core of the channel without losing its personality…….you seem to have a lot of support for the old content so it would be a shame to see it fade!
The original quality is barley there, and the topic and editing style are a massive downgrade; what's the point of the text to speech? Feels like all the other low-effort channels.

You just got rid of the style which the previous hosts provided which felt much more personal and unique yet still proffesional even in a corporate safe setting, I assume this change was made to make more money but I highly suspect you guys are gonna make much by basically being yet another copypaste corporate channel
The previous videos had real legitimately intruiging content coupled by the elequent two lovely hosts' styles, that's what kept this channel unique, Good content which has actually good information which people don't already know, now your formula is something which obviously works but now you have MUCH higher competition because now you're very replaceable and to me it seems you cannot get too far with this other than with luck and maybe some steady and very slow gradual growth which could've been made much faster by just keeping it to how it was, im sure you guys would've reached a million subscribers in 3-4 years
I hope that this gets read by someone actually working somewhat high up in the company than probably a social media manager, but that's pretty unrealistic so one could only hope; sorry if this was on the harsher end, I tried to be somewhat constructive throughout this comment

@@Sumsubcom people subscribed to a channel focusing on cyber security are well informed of obvious scams, and the people who participated in that $770m lost are likely not even youtube users, much less subscribed or even watching tech and security channels.
just sounds like an excuse for 1)wasting their writers real knowledge on cyber security and opsec- and 2) making clickbait videos and disregarding their targeted audience
I absolutely loved the stunning production value of the previous format. I'd never seen anything like it on youtube and found it very inspiring. Was it too expensive to keep making that style of content? You certainly set a high bar.
