Sorry I haven't really been responding to comments and not really being here; these past two weeks, I've been working on college applications, and I'm almost done! ☺️ I'm finishing by tonight at the latest, so it's nice the stress is almost off. Right after I finished uploading this, I'm heading right back to work on them.
The range of Taehyung is INSANE. 😵 I wish I had his low baritone, it's so soothing and fits the song so well. I tried to make do with what I have, lol.
From what I read, Stigma was centered around the storyline BTS has going in their music videos, so I was kind of stumped on what to write it about. I read the lyrics, and thought it kind of sounded like Taehyung missed his family and wished he could spend more time with them? And felt like he was a bad person for always missing important moments with his family? I don't know, I thought around that and came out with this, lol. 😓

I love singing along to this, your voice is just so perfect and high pitched in this cover! I hardly try to keep my voice consistently high pitched though, because I just naturally have a lower voice. :]

this cover is absolutely amazing like wow!! your vocal control is amazing! like all of the runs are done really well! if i had one thing to suggest it would be to put your vowels forwards a little bit more when you go into your head voice to avoid a breathy sound (unless that is the sound you are going for of course!) you don’t have to take this tip i just thought i’d suggest it, but i really do love this cover so much wow

How do you..do this? Basically I'm just a noob who maybe got moved by this (oof) its for personal use tho, like how you made your voice overlap and used someone else's instrumental video without fucking it up...though maybe I'll find my answer if I actually try to Google it- still this is really cool. Do you use a program? Hopefully I'm making sense ..

I use a program called Adobe Audition CC, but when I first started, I used Garageband. To give a short summary, I bought a mic to record my voice, and then I use Adobe Audition program to edit my vocals like overlapping my bg vocals and adding reverb (that echo-y effect you hear). You kinda just have to experiment with whatever editing program you decide to use until you get a hang of it, because it's a lot to work with at first (Adobe Audition took me 2 months to fool around with until I got used to the program 😭) Garageband was a lot simpler, but it didn't have all the effects I wanted to do, so that's why I switched. It's a good starter program though if you are looking to record for fun!
For the instrumental, usually I download it using an mp3 converter, or just buy it if there's an official one, then layer all my vocals over it using Audition.
