After going for biomedical engineering in undergrad I was headed to med school. When I learned about the option of being an NP, I leapt at it. I don’t see the collaboration of an MD as a restriction, I see it as a bonus. I get the extra support of their expertise and my patients get the benefit of both roles. It’s a win win. Medicine is a team sport, I think nurses should consider the collaboration with MDs as a bonus of the profession. I just started my first bedside nursing job and I love it. I’m in no rush to become an NP. All of us are equally important and I take a lot of pride in being a nurse and not an MD! I love your channel, your videos are such a great resource. I’m praying for you, your family, and your patients always!🫶🏾
Thanks for this video, it pains me that after studding so hard I end up failing 💔😪, I've taken the exams for the 4th time now and still didn't succeed, i wonder how those who succeeded did it.
So sorry to hear you guys complain deeply of failing the exam. But I will assure you that NP exam won't be a problem to you anymore,if you work with someone like Mr Andrew . he help me through my exam and I made it through.
Really, you'll know him Too? I even thought I was the only one he has helped walk through the fears and falls of NP Exam, Mr Andrew has brought me out of the trenches and to a better living, I encourage repeat test taker to work with him.
I love this video so much! Thank for the spiritual encouragement at the end. If I told you how powerfully God spoke through you, you wouldn’t believe it. I was literally praying, “God, I don’t know what I’m supposed to be doing with my nursing career or my purpose in life.” I’m going to study this verse. Thank you for this video, sister.
Hello Ms. Harriet, thank you for this positive message. As a new FNP student you hear so many different opinions about the nurse practitioner experience and a lot of times they are not positive. I liked that you mentioned God in the conversation. I am not saying that nurse practitioner is easy, but I believe that if you have God in your heart, he can do all things. Psalm 23: the lord is my shepherd.
This was so helpful. I've been in a space where I need clarity on my next steps in different areas of my life. One of those areas being school and this was the first video I clicked on. This was clear, concise, easy to follow and the encouragement/scripture at the end brought a lot of comfort. I won't be too stressed anymore. I'll do my part by doing research, asking questions and praying and I'll trust God to do the rest. Thank you for this video

Love this comment.. I've seen it a lot in my career where nurses see themselves as adversarial to MDs. But you can learn so much from a good MD

I think these online masters in nursing is worrisome because many are low quality and more interested in the money they can get from you.

New to your channel. Thank you for sharing.
Welcome!
You are so adorable! Thank you for your videos!!!
Glad you like them! ☺️
Oh I loved the Bible verse part
So if I was an ADN, RN and I have my bachelors and another field do I still have to go back and get my BSN or could I go get my MSN?
Great question.. you will still need to obtain your BSN; some schools now offer “fast track” BSN to MSN programs.
There are some schools that offer RN to MSN. You just have to make sure they are accredited
You do not need to get a BSN first. My friend was an RN. Has a bachelor's degree in business. Went to grad school, got her Master's and FNP.
I could look at you and tell you were a good one and I said Lord she looks like a good one...then you started talking about God ❤❤❤❤ His light shines in you
💖🙏🏾 appreciate you!
“Find your why, find your way, find your purpose through God” “seek the Lord” great message and amazing ending💗
