- In the heart of nature, a nomadic family lives and faces many hardships and challenges. But in the meantime, the benevolent and kind engineer shelters them and becomes their financial and emotional supporter.
The engineer leaves for a trip to Karbala and in his absence, the nomadic family faces new problems. Nemat, the eldest son of the family, who is an engineer's son-in-law, goes to the river with his wife Umm al-Binin to wash carpets. There they meet Zainab, a young and lonely woman who lives with her little son.
Nemat brings Zainab and her child to his house despite the opposition of Umm al-Binin. This shelter causes conflicts between Nemat, Umm al-Binin and Nemat's mother.
After returning from the trip, the engineer finds out about these events and slaps Nemat's face for his misbehavior with Umm al-Binin and the nomadic family. Nemat and Zainab leave the house and go to the mountains.
After some time, Nemat returns home and harasses the family with his violent behavior and claims that since he built the house himself, they should leave there.
Meanwhile, Ali, the videographer engineer, who regrets his mistakes in creating these tensions, tries to reconcile Nemat with the nomadic family. He brings Nemat back home, but Nemat makes a condition of marrying Zainab to return home.
This new condition increases the tensions in the family once again and throws Engineer Nemat out of the house.
In this part of the story, Ali, who fell in love with Umm al-Binin, gives her a wedding ring to make up for his past mistakes and to express his love for Umm al-Binin.
On the other hand, Nemat intends to take her children, whom Umm al-Banin took care of, to another place. This issue causes the anger and sadness of Umm al-Binin, Nemat's mother and a good engineer.
Where will the fate of this nomadic family reach? Will Nemat stop his wrong doings? Will Ali and Umm al-Banin meet?

In my country the videos of Nemat threatening and abusing his young brother and sister over the last couple of weeks and all of his behavior toward everyone, along with the fact he has never raised his children could be enough to cause a judge in a court to allow him only supervised visits by an authority with his kids. We also have restraining orders from courts that prevent violent people from continuing to come around and cause problems without them being thrown in jail. I think Golrhak should petition the court for legal custody of the children as well.
I agree with you they tip toe around getting police protection because of the Grandmother but now she is saying she has had enough and she wants complaints made against Nemat. I agree they cannot deal with this themselves, Nemat has a vicious streak in him and he is persistent and he will not leave the family alone.

@@user-rz5vl5ft3k It is sad, if he had been a more responsible person, less arrogant and self obsessed and more loving, you would want him to have his kids - but it is his mother who is objecting strongly to him taking the children... she knows what will happen and she has doubts about his other woman being the person who should be raising them... it is a nightmare situation and thankfully most of what is said goes over the children's head... at least it does for the younger one. The older one still remembers the last time he dragged them off and she is very reluctant to go to him..

I don't know why they wear the skirts. It's not cold outside. The pants underneath would be plenty. They drag those skirts through everything on the ground, goat poop , used water, cement, etc and then go on the carpets and blankets. I would never allow it. It's just plain dirty.

I have never seen a worse job of plastering than Nemat's and the poor plasterer is having his work cut out to put thing right...
