Black Beard Projects first off great video as usual. I was amazed at how you colored the steel. Also what’s the use for a dog head vs a traditional style?
Good, ❤️💯🌹👌👍
Why dog head hammer?? Why not my way on japanese hammer its just cause it scares me that people still eat our k9 friends and they bstards mite use something like that to get the food prepared 😠nice work thoe my friend 👍
Love that you do this, many such channels don't. As a suggestion, check out primitive technology's approach if unfamiliar: He also never speaks in his videos and uses the captions feature to describe what he's doing and when. Can be toggled of course and if on is right in the video so people can see it when fullscreen or otherwise watching rather than having to go to the description. Thanks regardless, LOVED this video!!!!
You all prolly dont care but does anyone know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account??
I was stupid lost my login password. I appreciate any help you can offer me!
Meticulously crafted, love the color you achieved with the heat transfer
I really enjoy watching videos when tools are made to make the main tool , you do good work thanks for sharing .
What a beauty! I cheered when you finally made it through the material! Drifting that monster is no easy task!❤
Ahah! Thanks brother!! We did as well, punching was no joke! But also rewarding :)
Wow, wonderfully done! My wrist just throbs at the amount of torque using one of those must have required...
For a long time there, it just looked like you were hammering a carrot 😂
@@arkaplandakises2858 you heard him. A carrot
Congratulations on your first hammer! I enjoyed the process, especially the hot drift tempering. Thank you, as always!
Gorgeous! That tempering technique is awesome, never seen that before. Oxidation colors are so cool.
That was great work. One of my friends said that it was not great so I told him he was wrong as it was great! Great hammer!
Your friend sounds like a real clown.
That's is some good steel. Air Hammer bits. Are design to take shock loading and abuse. Good choice in material.
What I love most is the simple handle. Makes it look so authentic.
Very nice sir, I especially like the tempering of the back of the hammer into a beautiful blue. Should last you a lifetime.
7:37 ITALIANO FINALMENTE!!🥰😂🥰 7:37
Si infatti
I don’t understand
"Yeees we made it"
@@BlackBeardProjects What is your next video going to be?
Every video, I'm always saying what is this guy making? Then it's a hammer, that's awesome.
this is relaxing
Adorei a mini plane...Parabéns!!!👏👏👏
The amount of time you spent just making tools to forge the hammer. Very impressive. Dedication.
I was confused how u got 3 hands for this project but then realized u weren't alone this time
Yes yes, but can it cut a tomato?
😂
It could CRUSH a tomato 🍅
Lol
@@samwaskito6205 I want to see it crush a tomato
@@republicofengineers1983 ...borrow it and do at home :D
Thank you for the detailed time-stamp in your videos and for sharing your skills. It's incredibly helpful.
Crazy to watch the quenching oil level rise from expansion as it heats up.
Cool!
That was incredible!
love this project, only thing hough, might want to tie the anvils so it doesn't move like yours does
Bel progetto BBP!
Perfact Attitude adjustment tool ! Well done Sir.
I like the shades you got with the tempering. Beautiful
Nice touch keeping the tempering colors ^.^, if you want to keep the temper on it the way it is, you could dip the hammer's striking surface(s) in water to keep them cool during prolonged use... I'm pretty sure that you already know that though. :)
I like the shiny end of the hammer.
That is a beautiful piece of work, I hope to make one very much the same soon, I like the shape and balance from the look of it. Thanks for showing it.
It’s bloody weird!
It’s bloody beautiful!
I love it!
I want one!
Beeeeeeautiful. The tempering part was brilliant. Really really awesome. Thank you!
What a stunning and beautiful tool. Amazing job and thanks so much for posting
Great hammer. One of a kind piece of working art.
Did anyone else notice that the oil quantity rose when he preheated it?
Must be the work of an enemy stand user
Please buy a power hammer, it is making me worn out just watching you. Love your results!
Bolt your anvil down, that’s an unnecessary risk, just my
30 years of blade and blacksmithing experience
And use a grinder guard
@@Buddy-po4hv And don't use gloves when operating the rotary tools
A heck of a lot of work but excellent result.
Great looking hammer
Saw you using this hammer to make something so had to go back and watch you make the hammer, lol..

Awesome informational educational video experience Y'alls God Bless Ya Prayers
Incredible video! I also make videos of restorations and I am impressed with the results!
Beautiful
As always, nice video ! I'm surching for one particular information : which wood do you use for wedge ? I can't find wood hard enough for this. Thank you et keep on with videos, it's just perfect !
Thanks a lot!! I think I used beech tree here, but not sure! I guess it has to be some kind of hard wood to work. Cheers!
Oak, ash, hickory, mahogany, really any of the hardwoods will work. Note: birch is not hard enough, though some class it as a hardwood. Just my experience, and real wood folks may disagree.
@@mred8002 by virtue of the fact its deciduous, birch is a hardwood (as is balsa), but there are far harder woods.
Matthew Cain Yup. I used birch ply wood for my kitchen cabinet door replacements, so got to know it’s characteristics with all the router work. Vastly different from, say, oak. I have lots on my farm, and have used it for firewood some, but prefer ash or maple. I do like it for some carving and such.
That amazing😍😍😍
Ottimo lavoro!
that anvil needs to be secured, I've never seen one bounce around like that lol
Omg just watching u shave down the wood handle with that little thing I don't know what it's called but man ouch Good video
So how does it perform compared to a regular hammer and what are the pros and cons. Thanks
Interesting. You will be able to make a knife for 6 hours as in TV show Forged in fire.
Can you make a Scottish Claymore
Awesome my friend!
Great Job My Friend!
Dude, you need to secure that anvil to the shop floor, seeing it bounce around while you're hammering made me uncomfortable! As always though, it's a pleasure to what you work, the color on that hammer is so beautiful.
Thanks a lot!!! I know but I can't, there are tiles on the frool. I can't mess those up :')
3:57 I think the oil level rised due to its temperature increasing. But I did not believe it was by so much.
ive got a piece of metal exactly like that, it is S 5. i am still trying to figure out what to do with it
Awesome work! 😃👍🏻👊🏻
0:37 Thanks 😊
