This is beautiful. I have so many wine glasses. I started painting on them last night with acrylic paint. I want to know the paint you are using specifically for painting glass.
Love these flowers, mine don't look right. If I have any paint over the leaves it distorts the flower. I tried to put the paint for the leaves on thin but it still does it. Any suggestions? I would love to post a photo to show you but I don't know if you can do that on youtube.
Pretty! I recently bought a pitcher and four glasses that were hand painted and I love them! Now I want to make my own. One question, did you cure them or just let the paint dry and is does it stay on permanently?
Thanks! I bake them, but they can be cured by air drying 21 days. They should be treated like fine china. They are dishwasher safe if place in top rack, but recommend hand washing. No abrasive soap or items to wash them with.
I really like your work very much when you paint it looks very easy but I can’t do it I am a biginer but like to paint please tell how I should do it thanks .
I would like to see how you paint birds on wine glasses I have a problem with the paint being to transparent. I have to go back over it several times. Do you have a solution for that? By the way, you are a beautiful & graceful artist
I am not painting wine glasses anymore. I would recommend using white along with the paint color you use. Also, apply it with a nice bit of paint in your brush.
Thanks for your question. You do not have to use anything on this painted glassware, unless you want to. I often use Mod Podge dishwasher safe formula to coat the painted part. ~Amy
Thanks for your question. With this paint you don't have to seal it. However, if you want to coat it with something like Mod Podge, the dishwasher safe formula, you could. Treat it like fine china, and you will be fine. Thanks! Amy
Thanks for viewing. I appreciate your kind words. I am in the process of listing more painted glassware in my Etsy shop. Check it out here: www.etsy.com/shop/AmysCreativeHeart?ref=seller-platform-mcnav . More will be added soon!
do you have a video with painting herbs on bottles? I want to do olive oil infused with herbs and then paint on the outside of the bottle a sprig or two of the herb... ROSEMARY?? THYME??
All hand painted items should be treated with care like you would Fine China. You can place on the top rack of your dishwasher, however, I do recommend hand washing. Do not use harsh detergents or cleaning cloths. Also, if you place the paint on with good coverage, it will be more durable. I hope this helps!
Thanks for your comment. This paint is made for glass. It does not need to have a varnish on it. You can use Mod Podge for Dishwasher Safe, if you want. You just need to put a nice layer of paint on the glass, to help it be more durable! ... Thanks...Amy
Can this be done on stainless steel? Would the process be the same? I have some stainless coffee mugs I would like to do, but still want them to be save for use.
Honestly, I have used the Enamels on every type of surface, but they are suppose to be for glass. The multi-surface is for a variety of surfaces, including glass. They have different color options, that is why you see me use both. Sometimes the color I want isn't available in the Enamels, so I go with the Multi-surface...I hope that helps!
Please follow the manufacture's instructions for the brand you are using. If you use FolkArt Enamels/Multi-surface, back at 350 for 30 minutes. Place glassware in a cold oven, then turn on and preheat. I add the preheat time to the bake time. Remove after the oven has cooled down. Thanks...Amy
Thanks for stopping by! I do bake most of the glassware. If the painted design is thick, I will just air dry it. You have to be careful so the paint doesn't bubble when baking.
I have painted thousands of pieces of glassware ... This paint is Enamel paint by FolkArt, which is still acrylic paint. Is a formula created for glass painting.
Thanks for viewing my video! I appreciate you stopping by. What is your favorite surface to paint on?

Folk Art Enamels are my favorite. You can also use their multi-surface paints.
Thank you for responding!

YEs!!!
Do you prep the glass before you paint?
Just wash with soap and water, then go over it with rubbing alcohol, just to make sure it is clean. Nothing else is needed! Thanks...Amy

What's the difference between the multi-purpose and the enamel paints and why did you choose ea?
Honestly, I have used the Enamels on every type of surface, but they are suppose to be for glass. The multi-surface is for a variety of surfaces, including glass. They have different color options, that is why you see me use both. Sometimes the color I want isn't available in the Enamels, so I go with the Multi-surface...I hope that helps!
Hi.. can u tell the temperature for baking and the time we need to bake it? Please tell the process for baking it

Question are you one stroke artist?
I am a One Stroke paint with my own twist. I don't always to that technique.
Primer? Sealer?
You don't have to put a sealer on them, but you can. I use Mod Podge (Dishwasher Safe) formula. Thanks!
If you let it air dry is it safe to wash? Is it dish washer safe?
Yes to both. Baking them may make them more durable, but you don't have to.
Do you bake your glasses
Thanks for stopping by! I do bake most of the glassware. If the painted design is thick, I will just air dry it. You have to be careful so the paint doesn't bubble when baking.
Is this is permanent
It is as permanent as it can be with being hand painted. Treat it like fine china, and it will last a long time!
Ok👍👍
Tried glass paint. It was terrible, I will try FOCKLORE BRAND
Which brand of glass paint did you use? They are different for sure....
looks great but too hard for a beginner. So much stuff to invest in
You can do it!
Could you paint a couple sayings on wine glasses? For example: “Jesus touched my water” and “Bra off, hair up, sweats on, wine gone”?
Thanks for asking, but I am not painting wine glasses anymore...Sorry
Acrylic paint??? That wont hold up..
