Thanks! Dialing in the right sound can be tricky. I have found that i like it more for recording than as my main amp. Just give it some time and work with it.

@@TheGuitarshredder515 Thanks. I will do just that. I'm wondering if it has a noise gate. Looks like I may need one.

Just bought this guitar too. Sounds awesome through my Boss ME-25. Have yet to play it through my Boss Katana, but your video shows me that I have nothing to worry about. 😎

Nice video, enjoyed the jam. I have one just like this-the green looks even better in person: has almost a metallic pearl to it. Tuners and the Floyd Rose Special are very good, mine stays locked in tune. Bridge/Saddle angle was dead on level and the action is nice and low-no buzzing. The one knock I have is that the fret ends on mine are brutal. Almost comically bad...The folks in Indonesia spent no time dressing the frets on mine. Neck is sleek and fast otherwise. Just dropped $25 for a fret file for it, will be a 45 minute fix--and this guitar is worth the time to round those edges.

Thanks! yea i got lucky mine are nearly perfect i was surprised. it had some small cracks around the neck bolts on the back but they were very small and i didn't return it for the fact that everything else was great. Quality control is always the issue with these lower priced guitars. But this holds up nicely with my Charvel and EVH costing 5 times the price.

You sound absolutely awesome.. I'm getting ready to fork out $1400 on a Ibanez Prestige but this guitar sounds just as good. GC has it for $250 now. How is the Floyd rose on these things?

Mitch Haman Thanks! Can’t go wrong with a quality Ibanez I have had a few over the years. This has a Floyd Rose Special and it’s been solid. I have not even set this guitar up right out of the box it played great and stays in tune. I just paid over a grand for a Charvel Warren Demartinj model and I still end up going back to the Mitchell. it holds up well against the high priced competitors.

I did get the MD400 about a year ago but took it back because of cracks in the binding and the fret board was not wiped off properly but, it did play good. I probable should have kept it. I'm 62 and just a bedroom player and just seeing if I can get any better at my old age. Probably smarter to get the Mitchell then the expensive Ibanez.. Thanks for replying..

Mitch Haman yea quality control is this problem at this price point. Mine does have some cracks around the neck but it’s just in the paint so I kept it.

Thakyou very much, i have added this track to my practice Tracks. :) And what Model is your Ibanez ? I ask because i play a Squier Classic vibe 50,s and i am lookiing for an Ibanez with maple fretboard and the ability for fat distorted solo sounds like yours. Ahh. i just discovered that Mitchell is a guitar brand i have never heard of....hmm...price ? where to get it ?

Mitchell is a Guitar Center brand also sold by Musicians Friend online. you can grab one for under $300 usually when on sale. The necks are like an Ibanez thin and fast. pickups are good for the price. over all they are great guitars. I have others costing 3 times as much but i always seem to grab this one. just plays reallys nice.
