I agree with you for the most part. I would say on D'Angelo is not that he's not good in the playoffs. He's not good against Denver. It's a bad match up for him. But we wouldn't have been in the conference finals without the play of D'Angelo. But when he ran up against Denver, it was just a bad match up. Shit happens like that. He's not a super star. He is a really good player.
We just need a coach to scheme him easier shots in the playoffs instead of relying on his 1 on 1 ability .
He was bad in the playoffs before Denver. DLo was benched in the playoffs in Brooklyn and Minnesota

It’s not that D’lo is bad against Denver, but that the Lakers are bad against Denver, and force the Lakers to scheme in a way that puts more pressure on our role players on defense so that our stars can save their legs for offense, because our superstars can’t guard their own position on defense against Denver, and we have to double team way more. D’lo actually did better against Denver this time around than he did the year before, so he’s getting better against Denver. Jamal Murray played trash in the playoffs and was the 2nd option, and no one crucified him, because he did hit daggers when it mattered, but also the Nuggets fan base and superstar doesn’t require scapegoats as a sacrifice to appease the great EGO. This is why most stars don’t want to come to the Lakers, because if they don’t win a chip, the 3rd wheel is going to get scapegoated, the coach, the 10th man…all offered on the alter to keep LBJ faultless.

Christian Wood would individually thrive on Charlotte so the trade for the players alone would be more even than most would think probably even preferably for the Hornets due to their pieces.

He’s a flat out better player than Grant ..he is stronger and just as Athletic and shoots better I’ll say grant a bit more quicker and shifty and handles but Rui is better at everything else imo..and his contract is a absolute steal for his ability

Well, his shooting efficiency is pretty consistent - sometimes he's just too passive on offense and he really needs to improve his rebounding. At his size he should be averaging at least 6 rpg, not just 4.

DLo + Vando + Reddish + Lightly Potected 2029 1st Rd + 2nd Rd (=$31.9m)
For
DFS + Schroder (=$28m)
Lakers take less money back, open up
A roster spot, get an actual 3/D wing, plus a solid back up guard to run the offense when Bron is off the floor. Moving up Gabe to the starting line up to guard the best guard on the opposing team which will open up Reaves’ game offensively. This also leaves the Lakers with their 2031 1st to use at a later time.
I would follow up this trade by focusing on a back up center rouser type that can play alongside AD occasionally, but mainly coming off the bench. Lakers are at their best when AD plays the 5, and Bron plays the 4. The Olympics has shown us that the big alongside AD can be one that can’t stretch the floor.
I would prioritize these three centers in this order. I don’t think the lakers should allocate a lot of money for a guy that will just be playing 18-24min a night.
1) Nick Richards - A pick swap plus salary
2) Wendel Carter Jr - A lightly protected 1st Rd, plus salary.
3) Valanciunas - 2x seconds plus salary
Laker might have to overpay for these players, but if they are serious about maximizing these next two years. These players can be that final missing piece that pushes the lakers over the top. So i think it will be worth making the trade.

Bruh...... Rui has cement blocks for feet. He is so slow with terrible hands. He fumbles so many passes and he constantly gets lost of defense and offense. He can't attack the rim effectively and goes to his predictable spin move every time. He's also a waste of a big body because he doesn't impose his physicality and is a terrible rebounder. He's a spot up 3 pt shooter who really only shows out against Memphis. We need legit 2 way players that bring speed, length and athleticism.

Rui is a better player than Grant , and Dlo is the best three point shooter in franchise history by far,he can catch and shoot and he can iso shoot he’s indispensable as far as I’m concerned.
