It's been Stryper Saturday around my house when the new Stryper album "When We Were Kings" arrived at my front door! I give you a quick look at the bundle I received, including the CD, Vinyl, T-shirt and turntable felt mat.

Great video! This is their 13th studio album of mostly all original material and 16th if you count The Covering, Second Coming and To Hell With the Amps. This is the 3rd where blue is the significant or dominant color since 2013 (the other 2 being No More Hell to Pay and The Final Battle). Also, the back of No More Hell to Pay LP and CD only versions has a white person/angel with the outline of triangle with a blue background. When We Were Kings has the white cross with a blue background. I thought that connection was cool. I placed an order with Frontiers Records for the CD, yellow and black vinyl, shirt and signed print along with Sunbomb Light Up the Sky CD and Impellitteri War Machine CD and LP. Then I went to a local record store and saw When We Were Kings on CD. I couldn't buy it where I ordered it earlier today. Doh! The order will ship in late October/early November when War Machine is released. I may wait or contact Frontiers to cancel the order and order everything without the CD. I might just wait. I'm saving a few dollars by keeping the order as is. I heard much of this album and to me it's better than The Final Battle. I like much of TFB but It's likely the least favorite of the last 6 albums or it might be better than GDE. WWWK, NMHTP, Fallen and ETDB seems to be the better of the last 6 as of right now. I would have a hard time ranking NMHTP, Fallen and ETDB where they are so close. I will likely feel the same with the new one as I get more familiar with it. I haven't spent as much time listening to The Final Battle since it was released 2 years ago as I have their other recent releases because life events getting in the way, work, family, trying to catch up on other albums that I haven't fully listened to which there are quite a few (I try to listen to a couple or more a week) and watching you tube videos like this one. This is the 4th release already that Perry played bass on including To Hell With the Amps with the first one being ETDB. It seems like only yesterday he joined in 2017. I look forward to your review of the new one and Fallen. Do you have all the other Stryper albums? Perhaps you can do a ranking of their 13 albums.

Great info! The 3 albums with a blue dominant color is a cool note as is the angel & cross connection on the back cover art. I've got *most* of their albums but not THWTA (yet) or Live at The Whisky A-Go-Go (is that the right title?). I like the idea of doing a ranking of their albums.
