Keep up the awesome work my man! (Oh, and that meme about "what are you doing?" was funny AF!!!) 😂
Don't worry about not knowing that Iraq had a Shia majority when Saddam was in power because it really looked like the US government didn't know that either or they would have worked out that removing Saddam would (a) remove Iran's biggest enemy in the region, (b) put the Shias in power in Iraq and (c) make Iraq an ally of Iran and Iran the unchallenged regional power in the area. Removing Saddam was a massive own goal for the US as it significantly strengthened Iran.

@@ArchOfficial That is simply not true. Everything I wrote could be deduced at the time. Saddam was boxed in with very little room for manoeuvre and was trying just to survive when we invaded. There was absolutely no need or requirement to help the US invade Iraq but Blair was desperate to do so and to get public support which is why he published the dodgy dossier that falsely claimed Saddam had WMDs ready to launch in 45 minutes. It's quite intriguing how the alleged Iranian militants are given time to escape before the US airstrikes proceed. The irony lies in the decision to attack Iraq and Syria instead. The apparent alliance between Iran and the US, despite public perceptions, adds a nuanced layer to this situation.
The bulk of the efforts against IS were by the ISF, SAA, Hezbollah, Kurds, Iranians and to a lesser degree the Russians. The US and NATO never cared about beating IS so that was never where their efforts went. BTW IS is not Islamic.
The government now has a popular mandate to request that troops leave, but it is unclear if this is legally binding and no timetable was laid out in the resolution. The resolution also does not enjoy the support of a large cross-section of Iraqi society. Most Sunni lawmakers and all Kurdish members of parliament sat out the session
Anytime a country retaliates it does make a difference. It's a deterrent and makes that country think twice before attacking again. If they are slow to learn then you just have to level their cities. Allowing the US to be attacked with no retaliation is a bad move and sends a bad message globally. More Iranians will die in this conflict than Americans for sure.

For example, I know Iran is Shia and was scratching my head how they were "supporting" Iraq because I still associate Iraq with Sunni as Saddam was Sunni. Boom! Ignorance cleared!
Damn m8 you have Google if you want to find out something it is just few clicks away ....information is everywhere....there is milions independent journalists around the world covering almost everything what is happening in the world ....
Sometimes I ask myself how is possible that we as people of the world have information for example about banks and bankers and we do not revolt regardless of nationality how is possible that those kind information are out in the open and we all act like sheep's....
So called "western worlds" polices around the world hypocrisy and double standards are out in open and they are really frightening....84% of world population hate west imagine what they will do to us when we fall and we will fall hard ....
I recon that in 20 years those 84% of people will put sanctions on collective WEST and only option will be to go down swinging that means using nukes and bye bye world we know ....
@@dacorum8053 This is easy to predict in hindsight, but at the time there was no choice but to aid allies against Iraq.
A lot of what History Legends posts is simply made up, or at the very least grossly misrepresented events. That's why it seems like it makes sense. I suggest you read information briefings from western intel if you want a more empiric view.
@@ArchOfficial That is simply not true. Everything I wrote could be deduced at the time. The US invaded Iraq because Bush junior wanted to finish off the job Bush Senior had started but not finished of removing Saddam in the first Gulf War because Saddam managed to put down the Shia rebellion in the south. Between the first Gulf War and the invasion to remove Saddam the US enforced no fly zones on the Kurdish north and Shia south of Iraq and imposed sanctions.
Remember we were also allies of the US at the time of the Vietnam War but thankfully Harold Wilson never went to the US's aid then
Well put together as usual. Thank you
Never enough history legends.
Very Informative
Excellent analysis as always Alex. Always exciting to see a History Legends notification.
Спасибо за информацию, было интересно узнать, что происходит на ближнем востоке.
Согласен, самый адекватный анализ

"If it bleeds, it can be killed" - some not so random Austrian actor as US special force.
@aniksamiurrahman6365
You do understand that non-US citizens can join the US Military and in fact there are currently around 75,000 in the US Military…….
Ok Dutch……….. 🤨
Cute movie quote though……… 😉
@@bkh8528 OK, corrected. Won't sound ambiguous anymore.
@aniksamiurrahman6365
Ohhh and another hint for you……
At the time the predator movie took place that certain European actor was no longer in the “US special force” but actually a mercenary in the employment of the CIA……… maybe watch the movie again, commander……… or just post more movie quotes instead………… 🤔
@@bkh8528 Well, he called himself a recuer and said his men aren't expendable.

Just a small correction … America has supported ISIS not iraq. they did not want to destroy Isis but rather to keep it there in Iraq and Syria. many Iraqi soldiers witnessed American helicopters dropping support to Isis militants.
many American jets at the same time bombed Iraqi soldiers and Islamic resilience forces. And this story continues until today.
The final part of the video is excellent. Thanks
Just as always, superb analysis! Keep on truckin', Dude!
Excellent Analysis
As an iraqi you're quite accurate, you missed some things, but hands down more accurate than any media out there
Like what
Like what exactly?
Well its quite complicated and my english isn't good enough but i'll do my best
1- qasim sulaimani before he was killed by the US he was in iraq after the elections when the shia majority couldn't agree on the goverment he was there to shape it exactly to iran wishs, so him being killed by the US didnt hurt anyone who cares about iraq only the ass kissers
2-the kurds didnt fight ISIS in 2014 (right after mousl fell) but they (kurdish goverment) made a deal with them to attack each other and the kurds could keep the north oil fields and file for speration from iraq after baghdad falls (which didnt happen) ISIS just got big enough to attack on both fronts and stabbed the kurds in the back and they cried for israel and the US to help them
3- the troops in al asad air base (which is attacked by iran and its proxies most of time) are legal there but as experts for the F-16s not as combat unites
The combat units were not legal and mostly not there
4- the shia proxies are just mafias with a religous coat on them
They'll do ANYTHING to stay in power
Even if its to work with the devil him self

Very good analysis! Keep it up! We need truth and accuracy in reports and news, to be unbias as possible.
said no one ever about this channel
One area where you are wrong, this is not a Religious consideration, it is the difference betweeen Royalty and Republicanism. Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Kuwait and UAE's biggest threat is to their respective Monarchies. The only Western friendly countries are monarchies
And the moment you see this, one notices the size of dissafection for Western occupying forces in Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebannon and Yemen.
In short, there isn't a single monarchy wishing Western military leave, yet every Middle Eastern Republic wants Western forces out!
But the US still somehow claims it wants to spread democracy and freedom.
لانهم عملاء وخونه للغرب ويقمعون شعوبهم الرافضه للغرب وسياستهم وليس رفض شعوب الغرب لان الشعوب غير مذنبه في السياسة القذرة هذا بكل شفافية واختصار
What the hell are the US even doing in the Middle East?
Operation
Iraqi
Liberation.....
....which has nothing to do with actual liberation
Stealing resources and supporting genocide
Spreading freedom and democracy
To spread homosexuality
War crimes and finding oil probably

at 15:45 it should be noted that the Iranians/Syrians have another roadway near Qaim that bypasses altanf..
I love how you analyze things bro, you are amazing! love from Africa ❤
Natives fighting an occupation.
Almost all anti-US forces in Syria and Iraq are not native. In 2004 some local militia in Iraq were hired to fire on US forces, but other than that it's almost entirely Pakistani, Afghan, Iranian and some Chechen troops IIRC.
@@ArchOfficial they are locals
@@haskalah No they're not. People who come from other countries, oppress the people who live in the country they arrived in, and otherwise do not have anything to do with them, are not locals.

US special force operatives in Syria: "are we the baddies?"
The US has always been the baddies ! The wrong side won the Cold War
It's quite intriguing how the alleged Iranian militants are given time to escape before the US airstrikes proceed. The irony lies in the decision to attack Iraq and Syria instead. The apparent alliance between Iran and the US, despite public perceptions, adds a nuanced layer to this situation.
You are truly amazing 😊😊
spot on! here we go again
Hitting a Russia backed ally is a bad idea!!
The Chinese and India also back Iran
The bulk of the efforts against IS were by the ISF, SAA, Hezbollah, Kurds, Iranians and to a lesser degree the Russians. The US and NATO never cared about beating IS so that was never where their efforts went.
BTW IS is not Islamic.
check if there is oil close to those secret bases
Thank you!
Us empire get out of Syria and Iraq. You are not welcome.
I am Syrian and they are welcomed to me
The government now has a popular mandate to request that troops leave, but it is unclear if this is legally binding and no timetable was laid out in the resolution.
The resolution also does not enjoy the support of a large cross-section of Iraqi society. Most Sunni lawmakers and all Kurdish members of parliament sat out the session
Iraq resolution to expel American troops was a sham vote, with no one to enforce it. Get your info straight.
great information
one important fact.....Iranian ' backed ' groups are also the LOCAL POPULATION.
Merci!
Contractors are usually 10x the number of troops
Hahaha : Are the airstrikes working? No!
Will they continue? YES!
Wow. Gave me a whole new perspective. There had to be more than oil, now I get it.
"The US has a watch, but Iran has time."
What is this, Caspian Report?
Anytime a country retaliates it does make a difference. It's a deterrent and makes that country think twice before attacking again. If they are slow to learn then you just have to level their cities. Allowing the US to be attacked with no retaliation is a bad move and sends a bad message globally. More Iranians will die in this conflict than Americans for sure.
Its was the Russians Iranians and Syria who defeated isis. Not Us Turkey or the Kurds.
i just want to knwo how a croatioan VHS got there 6:20
8:40 Wait, what? Are you referring to the Iranian rocket attack on Irbil that Iran says killed the top local Mossad agent (and his family)? That was not an attack on the US consulate, though it was very close to it and the consulate’s air defense system activated, according to the news. Is this the attack you are referring to?
History Legend!!!!
I duff my hat to your analysis.
You perfectly fitted in all the missing pieces of the puzzle.
The interplay of Shia Muslim as a culture, ISIS and reasons for the US presence there, even also why the Iranians want the US out of the strategic Alans sentinel.
Thank you for the beautiful work you do. May all the beauty of life be your reward.
When has any drone strike solved anything in the Middle East.
they not proxies, they independent resistance movements backed by Iran. Iran does not have proxies, those groups are allies of Iran that i support. the reason they support them is the share a common goal, the liberation of Palestine and expulsion of US/NATO presence in the region.
I think I will not exaggerate, if I say that you are already living legend!
Iran sends 1 $200 drone. The US scrambles $20,000,000 worth of Aircraft Sorties. 😂
The fact that the U.S. base dropped its guard in a war zone is conveniently forgotten, right?. The U.S. military never leaves after they come in, do they?. Ask Europe or Japan, U.S. forces are still the long after WWII is over.
It’s not for solving problems it’s just for revenge before retreating,
