This is a song of Kali Sadhaka Sri Ramaprasad, it has a deep meaning he is pointing to the jivas to not waste this human life in materilistic world and uphold their consiousness to the status of the supreme brahman or Kali . The steps the jivas should take to reach that realisation is mentioned in this song. There are hundreds of song of Sri Ramaprasada .
Please read the book " mother of the Universe " by Lex Hixon , u will get the translation of this song in page 57. I do have the book but i am unable to post a photo from the book here in the comment box.

I'm a great admirer of her singing. She blends warmth and emotion in her renderings. However this song has to be sung in a non-Bollywood way. This rendering is so disturbingly Bollywoodish. Had she sung it in one or one and a half lower scale then that typical Bollywoodness could have diminished. In these songs, a touch of attact of certain words is necessary in order to lend them that raw emotive feel of a Ramproshadi, Kirtan or Shyama shongeet.
You are a beautiful women and a wonderful super star singer. I love your songs in Bengali and Hindi. You are young but you need to take care of your health; go to the gym and control your diet on daily basis to make you more beautiful.
