- "There Goes My Love" was written and recorded by Buck Owens in 1956. A lot of us remember Owens from Hee-Haw, but he was a pioneer of country music who helped define the Bakersfield sound. Buck wrote and recorded a remarkable string of #1 hits in the 50s and 60s. Even the Beatles loved Buck!
For the gear lovers, this was recorded through an Ear Trumpet Labs Myrtle and a handful of dynamic mics. Corey is playing a Gibson J45, and the lead guitar is a 1970 Guild Starfire IV through a Princeton Reverb. Rob is playing his 1946 Kay bass.
Statehouse Electric is:
Corey Post (vocal, guitar)
Tim Patterson (guitar)
Rob Butler (bass)
Matthew Putman (drums)
Paul McGowen (steel guitar, vocals)
