We tried to have some fun with this because we genuinely love the full-time RV lifestyle. Are we full-timers? Absolutely! Please leave a comment and tell us what you think. You can subscribe to our channel here............www.youtube.com/@oureverydaygetaway
Who cares what others say? You live your life the way you want it. For comments purpose, if you live most time in an RV, you are a full timer RVers. Don’t fall to jealous comments trap! You guys put up good videos and that’s all matters 😊 👍👍👍
Great video! I think the best description for your situation is full time RV’ers, most time travelers. Who cares where you park your RV, it’s your house park where you want!
Maybe some people thought you still had a house. If so, obviously they didn't know your whole story. Great job of clearing that up for them. Hope to see you guys again soon. Take care and stay safe out there friends 💛
Don't care whether full time or not, but you are our full timers and love your channel. We take advice from all RVers on where to go, campsites, tips, and etc. We've been partiming for 20 years and things continue to change. You guys are on the forefront on what to expect while on the road experiencing RVing.
Good video for clarification, "full-time" Someone who lives exclusively full-time in a recreational vehicle (RV) for an extended period of time while traveling from place to place. As a full-timer myself and thinking of all the conversations with other travelers, we all have someplace we seem to return to from time to time. That return event does not negate the overall lifestyle of being a full-timer, so yes, you guys are full-timers by definition. Good job.
We are on year number two. We thought we would travel a lot……..but, gas prices went through the roof. So we began to camp host. We love it. We met so many good friends! You only work three days a week. Fun! Where we are now……we have full hookups, beautiful site, free laundry just for the camp hosts, free ice and nice clean bath houses. We are here for five months…..it’s usually four, but we are helping for another month. Then, it’s off to the next one! I didn’t know there were RV police that decided who was full time? 🎉
You guys are definitely full timers. What's the difference if you boondock or stay in a campground. You live full time in your RV. You are definitely right. The most expensive part of RVing is the fuel cost. Enjoy guys. 🙂
Going and going all the time is nuts you need a break from driving and your vehicle will appreciate the downtime. Having a home base is a good idea especially if you have family in that area of your home base. Plus it lets you get caught up on any repairs or upgrades. I enjoy your videos and you are full time rver's. Happy Holidays.
You are full-time RVs. I agree with you as long as you live in the RV full-time and don’t go into a sticks and bricks you are full-time. People are just critics. Love you too and your RUclips videos. Keep up the great work.
I think you are right! No differents than staying at a campground! Y’all are definitely full time RV’s !! Doris & Doug Chattanooga Tennessee!! We love y’all!!
I agree - full time RVers are people (and dogs) who live in a RV full time and he, she & pup can park that RV for any length of time, because it is whatever works for them. We have planted it at my brother's and at my family ranch for a few months at a time. And now, we rented a private lot in Southern Arizona for this winter, because 3 years traveling in the South in the winter was brutal. And I totally agree with having a home base - that's what we have been driving around the country looking for.
I’m with you Chris, Rv’s are fascinating. We have two houses and a fifth wheel, but can’t travel too far because I’m an elected commissioner in my home county. I have one more term then we’re traveling at least 6 months out of the year. Love you channel and your content.
We totally agree with you if your sleeping in your RV all year your a full timer! No difference between you using the facility at an RV Resort , campground or where you are at. Your sorta like using a boondockers welcome/harvest host style situation. Your not any different then the snow birds that park somewhere for months somewhere. Does it snow where your parked? 😊 Take care safe travels!
So do I want to say my wife and I are full time RV’ERS. We spend most of our time on our 10 acres. We don’t want to document that we are full time RV.ERS. We do have full hook ups with a 24x40 motor home carport. We do not stay in our home “no” So I agree you guys are full time RV.ERS. Please enjoy living small PS love the dog voice and love our washer and dryer in our motorhome.
Don't care whether you are full time or not. Enjoy your videos and the time you take to put the content together. Don't care where you shower or take care of other things. Who cares what others think, you are enjoying your life. And most important Tucker is loving the life you provide for him. Keep waggin' Tucker.
It amazes me that you guys even have to address this , I say that only because you have a business that is in the public eye, so I understand why you are addressing the subject. My opinion is people are petty, and if you don’t own a sticks and bricks home and you sleep in your RV then you are a full time RVer . I enjoy the content you two put out , it’s informative and entertaining, God Bless you and your family.
You guys are mine and ginny's heros. We started at the same time. I just have not started a channel. We would love to meet you somewhere. We mostly travel in the west. We are from midwest Michigan and Illinois. To me you are a breathe of fresh air. We are full-time. .
Yep, you guys ARE full timers NO question. We are going to be part timers, because we will still own a small home somewhere. That way when we need a break from being on the road, we will have a place to go. Even though you guys call the place you rent "home base" you still live in the RV. Take care and keep up the GREAT videos.
We just went full time in September. Wife works from the Rv, I retired and am volunteering with Florida State parks. Our only base is we pay the extra for our son who upgraded to a three bedroom apt so we have access to a closet and some storage when in our hometown, kinda like a storage unit.
Yep...your full timers We agree with your explanation Being Canadian we have to be here 5 months of the year & have to have a physical address for licence, nsurance, & medical stuff. Our plan is barndo with full hook up or lot with full hook ups & a small cabin
We do a 3 month trip each year in our little TT and live the rest of the year in our bigger TT behind our sons house. We have full hook ups when there. Somehow I think the amount of travel plays in to one's opinion of the definition of FULL time RVr. Certainly we live in one or the other TT exclusively, but do we meet the "purists" definition, probably not. Years ago the teardrop "purists" didn't consider our 13' TAB a teardrop because it wasn't homemade. Yadda, yadda, yadda. Someone always has to be fussy. Do what you love, and love what you do. Ya'll are amazing. 🎉
Man, trying to gatekeep "full time RV living"...that person must have A LOT of time on their hands to disect the way you live and tell you that you don't fit *their* definition of "Full time". Y'all are full time RVers...period. Haters gonna hate! 😎😎
Ok a couple things: -1 We need a talking dog like Tucker. 😜 -2 RV Resorts need to change their age rules to 45 and over. “Empty nester and over!” lol Why we gotta wait that long to get to book a place like Mesa?! -3 Doesn’t matter to us one bit what definition people put on full-timers. If you’re on the road, you’re on the road. Doesn’t matter if you own real estate or not in our opinion. But we’re definitely part-timers. We’re home way more than we’re camping. Even if you’re weekend warriors, the truth is, we’re all always “full-time” messing with these rigs! lol 😜 Even part-timing is a full-time commitment! Love watching you guys! Hoping to meet up again soon!
Great video, no need to explain, you guys do you!! We consider ourselves "Part time / Full time" we still have a house, won't give that up, but we love RVing for weeks (Months) at time. No shame in still owning a house or having a "home base" as Our Everyday Getaway does, there is no wrong answer!
We been fulltime rvers for 5 yrs now. We don't own a house but we go back to our home town twice a yr for Dr appointments & get mail. We are also Thousand Trails members & stay 21 days at a time, sometimes less. We're currently in the Keys for the Holidays. Hopefully someday our paths will cross. ✌️
The way an insurance company explained it to me was, if you live in your RV for more than 180 days you are considered full timers. You have to be careful with the type of insurance coverage. Our goal is to have a home base with a smallish house to stay in for the holidays and if we have to put our RV into a shop or just work on many things. But for me it really doesn't matter as long as you are having a great time.
Y’all are definitely full timers! We don’t own property or a house and we’ve been full timers for almost 4 years. We travel more month to month for Chases job. I’m with y’all on the topic!
I’m sure people judge us for having TWO properties ! But - as the song goes: “the haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate” (Now you have that song in your head 😂) No need to experience explain yourselves… but I agree with Tucker - you are indeed fulltimers!
You two are hilarious 🎉 Love watching your FAMILY-TIME RVing💯 So FTRV includes full-time, part-time, winter-time, summertime, fall-time, springtime, And whatever else the RV family enjoys.❤
You guys are definitely full-time. You live in your RV. We are part-time and when we go to the campground we use a shower house everything. We barely use black tank. You are definitely full time.
We have been full-time for the past 2 years . We camp/handy host for 8-9 months at a time in one space/campground then for the rest of the time we are at another campground for the winter. Plus I use the bathhouse 80% of the time. We don't move around very much a few short trips on vacation plus I'm still working 🙃
Y'all are definitely FULL-TIMERS. We have always called ourselves MOST-TIMERS - we downsized to a condo and travel around 9 months a year. We head back to our home base for holidays, birthdays, and to see 6 our grandchildren who live nearby. We could be Full-timers, but at this time, we chose to be Most-Timers.
I think that others see you going back to your same spot in Maryland to your home base and consider it as your home. When Barb and I get on the road in the spring we will not have a home base, just an address at our son’s home here in Florida as we are keeping our resident status. Our goal though is to eventually buy a home base here in Florida where we can spend the winters and then travel during the summer to get out of the heat. We will consider ourselves full timers also.
Let's just stop labeling people. It only creates division. You guys are great no matter what you call yourselves. Call me anything you want, just don't call me late for dinner.
Y’all are full timers for sure. If you live in your RV full time, which you do, you’re a full timer. I do t care if it never moves. If it’s an RV it counts. I say a park model doesn’t count though because that’s more like a tiny home than an RV.
Definitely not my first time here! Love you guys. Great description of us full timers! But, it was hard for me to follow as Tucker was in the background playing along! What drives me nuts at times is how many RUclips folks have to identify as full time and how many years at the opening of their video. Like it matters...there are so many variations!
Too funny! I see the Bobble heads! In short: You do You! Tucker is correct! There are variations of full time and you get to define this not someone else! Love the channel! Safe travels!
You are absolutely full-time. Same as us. We have a home base where we park the RV with FHU and plan to keep that because it is near our family. When we come back to see them we have a place that's close and ours. But we live in our RV all the time. There's no sticks n bricks here.
Full time Rving I believe is living in your Rv all the time. That is how I see it. We are full time Rvers but right now we are in our home town helping our daughter get her grandfathers house on the market to sell.
OK, everybody has an opinion and everybody has you know what but I’m not even a full-time and I spend my winters at my place in Florida and I bought two years ago and when I do go full-time, I’m still gonna spend the winter time and I own it what is the difference for what you do, I’ve met you at The Rv. Hope to meet you soon again.
I consider us part time because we have a house that our Daughter and son in law live in and take care of and we keep a guest room there. When in town our 45 ft motorhome no longer fits the pad we had for the 40 so we stay at a park 10 minutes away. We stop in from Christmas to new year, and a month in summer. The rest of the time we are on the road. Most that want to split hairs have to little to do apparently! The only ones that counts is on your Insurance policy!!
If you don’t have a sticks/brick house to sleep in and sleep in your RV your a Fulltimer in my book regardless how long you park or stay somewhere. Moving place to place all the time is expensive especially short stays
Great video ! You are full timers. I am somewhat like you, but we are not full timers. I have a sticks and bricks Condo, it's small 1,000sq'. We travel 6 months of the year as an average. We decided on keeping a home in Ontario Canada for medical reasons. Should one of us get sick when were in the south for the winter what are we going to come back to? Our kids don't have room for us and living in an RV when your sick would most likely not possible. Therefore we consider ourselves as "long timers" This winter I will be home in Canada until May. My wife will be traveling from January to Mid April living at resorts and on Diving ships. My normal winter would have us in Texas or Arizona for 4 months. plus a few months traveling between Canada and the USA. I am 67 and would love to spend more time on the road with our rig but we can only be in the USA for 205 days and have already covered most of Canada a few times. The trailer 42' is kept at a storage facility as we have no place to park it here.
Fun filled video. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. It’s just like when people say that harvest host are free camping after you pay the yearly fee and buy food or wine 🍷 it comes out to be the price of most of the campgrounds we stay at. Might be interested in we just don’t get the same experience. Thanks From Wisconsin and happy thanksgiving 🦃🍽
No explanation needed here. We only have our RV 6 months in Arizona 6 months Idaho explore along the way. I hope to meet you in Arizona. We stay in Golden Valley Arizona until the end of April in Tradewinds RV its great.
We will have been here in AZ, at the same park for 8 months, with an average cost of $900 per month . That's $30 per day with full hookups at a mega resort. Compare that to $65.00 per day (off season) here if you stay short time (14 days to be exact for the same $900). So staying longer at one location means you will will save money. Of course you are full time RV'ers. The fact that you own (rent) land as nothing to do with whether you are full time. If you own the lot you live on but you still live in your RV on that lot makes you a Full Time RV. In my opinion, if you sleep in an RV (any type of RV) (all the time) you are a Full Time RV'er. Owning, renting land or a home you rent out, has nothing to do with it. Plus, do we not have to have some sort of "base" in order to register and insure our vehicles, vote, and get mail? I guess it actually depends on one's definition of "base". JS. Till $1.00 beers at the pool bar, water volleyball and pickleball. Be Safe and Be Well.
What about people who park their RV somewhere and never move? Basically, a trailer park. Are they full-time RVers , or even RV'ers, and why not? What is essential to being an RV'er? Not having a home or moving around?
Well guys I, still own my house. My son and his family live there and pay the bills.. I have a bedroom and can stay any time I want.. I'm probably gonna stay this winter there. Then buy a new rv. But I know my family is safe. The house is paid off ,and there living there. Rent free... they pay the the gas ,water and electricity. It's good for everyone...
Great video! To me it doesn’t bother me if you full time or not. To me you are Rvers that I love to watch. You are great people. Whether or not people tell you, you are or aren’t. It doesn’t matter to me. I love your channel. I love Tucker too! Love it she be he talks. He’s so cute! Give him hugs and kisses for me! 🤗🥰 Hope you have a great and Happy Thanksgiving. 🦃🍁 Dint eat too much turkey. lol! 😂 😂see you both soon!
Have heard this debate on a number of videos and podcasts in the last little while and to be honest who really cares full time part time most time own a house don’t own a house have a trailer fifth wheel or motorhome. Does it really make a difference I think not. As long as you’re doing what you enjoy. Just do it. 😂😂😂
I think a full-time RV is someone who sleeps in their RV most of the year regardless of where the RV is parked. When I still had a sticks and bricks when I would go back there I never slept inside because that wasn’t my home anymore. my home is my RV.
Do they think less junk more journey are not full timers? If you stay in your rv all year round you are a full timer. I also still think KYD are still full timers 🤷♀️
"Your dreams were your ticket out..." I am today years old realizing those were the lyrics. I don't know what I was singing, but whatever it was, it was wrong. LOL I think "full-time" rv'ers are people who do not have a sticks and bricks. I think what you guys have is no different than staying at an RV park. But what do I know? I don't even have a rig yet. LOL
OK I vote your full time I don t think your in-laws parking lot is consider a home or stick and bricks you can,t run the wheels 24/7 , but a little advice you can sing a little but don,t go on American Idol ,keep on RVing 😊
IMHO You are full timers. People that are NOT full timers are ones that park their RV and then live in their sticks/bricks for part of the year. And then there are people that are NOT RVers at all but might say they are.....these are people that LIVE in their RV year round but it never moves....their "HOUSE" is their RV they are in no way RVers.
Who cares! So maybe you are full-time RiVers but only 3/4 time travellers. Who cares. I definitely live in my RV full time but I certainly don’t travel full time. Maybe I’m a tiny home dweller living in a RV. Who cares! My old 82 class c is built to travel and boon dock in the Canadian Rockies. And it certainly does it well! Having a home base is a great thing. My home base is the world famous 17 acre Redstone Ranch😆. I have power if I want to. Just use solar 80 % of the time. No sewer hook up but excess to septic dump on site. I shower in the RV but don’t use the can. Go to town to do laundry and hall potable water back to the RV. I’m not sure what all that makes me other than mostly happy. Tell us about the Rambo Run! 👍🇨🇦
We tried to have some fun with this because we genuinely love the full-time RV lifestyle. Are we full-timers? Absolutely! Please leave a comment and tell us what you think. You can subscribe to our channel here............www.youtube.com/@oureverydaygetaway
Will the next video be what an RV is? People always gonna tell others what they are.
Who cares what others say? You live your life the way you want it. For comments purpose, if you live most time in an RV, you are a full timer RVers. Don’t fall to jealous comments trap! You guys put up good videos and that’s all matters 😊 👍👍👍
Agreed, just do you. What ever makes you happy!
HA! .... Tucker living his best .... LIFE! Your so lucky to get to go on all his adventures with him .... :)
You said it, Tucker! You are full-timers. PERIOD!😂👍🏾💙🤍❤️
Great video! I think the best description for your situation is full time RV’ers, most time travelers. Who cares where you park your RV, it’s your house park where you want!

I agree with you there's no difference. It's nice that you have somewhere that you can go back and do that. Keep it up and good luck with the Jeep.

You guys are definitely full-time. You live in your RV. We are part-time and when we go to the campground we use a shower house everything. We barely use black tank. You are definitely full time.

You could get a macerator pump for when you stay at that property. I use one at my daughters house and I pump 75 ft no problem.
I think you guys (and Tucker) are full time... like you said... you have same there as camp grounds!! Justbhave a blast!! 🎉🎉🎉
Plus. . Taking the jeep out for outings... you still come back to the RV because it's HOME!!!🎉🎉🎉
So you make the definition to fit. Perfect, your fulltimers.
Y’all are true full-timers! Pooh on the nay-sayers Enjoy your adventures.
Spot on for your analysis
Y’all are full timers for sure. If you live in your RV full time, which you do, you’re a full timer. I do t care if it never moves. If it’s an RV it counts. I say a park model doesn’t count though because that’s more like a tiny home than an RV.
We are going to do exactly what you do. It’s a great way to live the lifestyle. Opinions are like…..well you know.
We think so as well. To us it doesn't matter where you park it as long as your living in it full time.
Full time Rving I believe is living in your Rv all the time. That is how I see it.
We are full time Rvers but right now we are in our home town helping our daughter get her grandfathers house on the market to sell.
At times I feel people get Nomads and full time RV's confused. Thanks for a great video
Great vid. Full time if you live in your rig.
Oh heck, we have a home-based in Surprise AZ. We will have to meet up while you are in Mesa.
There's nothing wrong going home to family. During the winter or holidays to spend time with the family.
The guy that said that probable does'nt have a R.V.!!!
You are FULL TIMERS!!!!
Where can we get your baseball cap, Chris?
Oh gosh, I think the people calling you out are really splitting hairs here! I would say you guys are definitely full time.
Watching 👀
Great video! To me it doesn’t bother me if you full time or not. To me you are Rvers that I love to watch. You are great people. Whether or not people tell you, you are or aren’t. It doesn’t matter to me. I love your channel. I love Tucker too! Love it she be he talks. He’s so cute! Give him hugs and kisses for me! 🤗🥰 Hope you have a great and Happy Thanksgiving. 🦃🍁 Dint eat too much turkey. lol! 😂 😂see you both soon!
You seem to be arguing with yourselves. But i still love ya.
You are full time ! You are blessed to have a home base tho.
Have heard this debate on a number of videos and podcasts in the last little while and to be honest who really cares full time part time most time own a house don’t own a house have a trailer fifth wheel or motorhome. Does it really make a difference I think not. As long as you’re doing what you enjoy. Just do it. 😂😂😂
Yep, full timers!! No difference using a house facilities and a campground bathhouse.
I think a full-time RV is someone who sleeps in their RV most of the year regardless of where the RV is parked. When I still had a sticks and bricks when I would go back there I never slept inside because that wasn’t my home anymore. my home is my RV.
100% full time RV’ers!
Do they think less junk more journey are not full timers?
If you stay in your rv all year round you are a full timer.
I also still think KYD are still full timers 🤷♀️
I think if you live in your RV, no matter how long you spend in a location, you are full-time.
You live in an RV all year long, you are full-time rving, no matter where you park it.
Yep...for sure you are full-timers.
"Your dreams were your ticket out..."
I am today years old realizing those were the lyrics. I don't know what I was singing, but whatever it was, it was wrong. LOL
I think "full-time" rv'ers are people who do not have a sticks and bricks. I think what you guys have is no different than staying at an RV park. But what do I know? I don't even have a rig yet. LOL
A full-time RVer is someone who lives in an RV or motorhome full-time. People who live this lifestyle are often called "full-timers".
if you spend 183+ days on the road, your full time Rv'ers . Screw the haters......
I think Tucker is a fulltime rv’r, not sure about both of you. Just kidding, love your videos, happy Thanksgiving to you and your family
Every considered a change of careers to singers? 😂❤
You guys are full timers.
I think as long as you’re not going to sleep in a home, your FT.
I'd pay big money not to be a full time RVer but hey that's just me. Why can't you enjoy your RV and your sticks and bricks? 😀😀😀
Yeah agree with u 100%. 🍻
I think full time is someone that sleeps in it everyday
Yall.are full time. Using exterior facilities, there is like using a bathhouse and laundry facilities. No difference.
Why should you care what people think... I don't get it😮
I think if your main home is in the a RV then you're full-time. You are full-time.
You guys are full time.
Thanks Judy. 😊
