Prophet Muhammad (salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam) was the best of men, of the phenomenaly outstanding levels of the best of morality! He was always cheerful, gentle and kind, an angelic presence. People would spit on his blessed visage when he first started preaching Islam, yet he never took vengeance upon them! He was called Al-Amin (The Trustworthy) even by his enemies. Abu Hurairah (RA) narrated: The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "There are two statements that are light for the tongue to remember, heavy in the Scales and are dear to the Merciful: سبحان الله وبحمده، سبحان الله العظيم "Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhan-Allah-il-Azim" (Glory be to Allah and His is the praise, (and) Allah, the Greatest is free from imperfection) [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
When wicked rulers rule, then look for the Hour (Judgement Day) Prophet Mohammad said, “When trust is lost, then wait for the Hour.” Abu Huraira said, “How is the trust lost, O Messenger of Allah?” The Prophet said, “When authority is given to those who do not deserve it, then wait for the Hour.” Sahih al-Bukhari 6131
Please wait till Almighty Allah gives you what you want or need. Till then, do what your speaker suggests, taste the Sweetness of Paradise and have patience.
Abdulla ibn Mas’ud reported: Umar ibn Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, said, “Verily, the best days we knew were due to patience. If patience were to take the form of a man, it would be a nobleman.”Source: al-Ṣabr wal-Thawāb 6
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Jumu‘ah is comprised of twelve portions of time. There is one in which a Muslim who asks Allah for something will have it granted to him. Seek it in the last period after ‘Asr.” (Abū Dāwūd).....
