I use blink mini cameras at my store and they work with Echos. I disabled the audible alert feature though because it was always going off due to customers. The doorbell works as well just do not have one.

Hi! As a audio device, a dot is superior. The bass is more full, volume can get louder, mids are clearer.
As an Alexa, the pop and the dot are similar, even share the same processor.
