This car is amazing. I have yet to break a part. I replaced the shock oil with 35 weight rear and 25 weight front. Adjusted the spring stops to the top. It handles as good as my Kyosho Lazer. For the price and quality, the Wolf is awesome. especially considering the amount of abuse I've put my wolf through. I've spent less time wrenching on my wolf and more time driving.
It seems like the motor screws get loose quite often. Mines got loose and I lost one of the screws. You definitely have to check to make sure all screws are tight.
I had to get a new gear because the one that is bigger inside the body is plastic, and runs down fast. The fan also quite working the day I started to play with it. The metal inside to hold it together is cheap and bent really easily.
I got this car too, and it does really suck. I agree with your video and I had even more problems than you did. The front diff box has broken three times, and like you said, the shocks are giant, and have little to no oil in them.
I have the wolf2 a different model and it did the same with the motor but I don't half to worry about that anymore since the car impaled on itself and broke today
Blitzpolarbear AJ , dhk parts are pretty in expensive. it's a good starter for this hobby. if you fix it, upgrade the motor mount bolts at least. mine has stayed since I put TRX bolts in
