10:40 I gotta fight back on your argument on this one. Piccolo has not spent more time with Gohan than Goku at this point. Goku raised Gohan for 4 years, Piccolo only raised him for one. One years time is not enough for Gohan to start claiming Namekian culture as his own. Never mind the fact that Piccolo Jr. has never been to Namek nor knows anything about Namekian culture. Gohan is an Earthling through and through. The only reason it's okay for Gohan to be wearing that fit on Namek is because he's honoring Piccolo by being there. He's trying to revive Piccolo, so repping Piccolo's set is appropriate.
Piccolo didn't even raise him and not even for a year for 6 months gohan was in the wild as a toddler and the next 6months piccolo only beat on him like that's not raising XD. These abridge watchers got to go. Then when goku came back from yadrat he spent 3 years with gohan then a whole year with only gohan in the spirit of time then the last few weeks with gohan before cell games.
Not to mention that piccolo wasn’t even a good father figure, considering the child abuse
Naaaaaa but if it was enough time for them to be cool with dying for each other, it’s gotta be enough for Gohan to rep his fits.

Gohan wearing the Namekian outfit is like a white guy in an African country wearing the whole fit of that area. You gotta ask the context under which he's wearin' it. Gohan's wearing it because he was a student of a Namekian. He was brought up in that culture. That's part of him now. And if a white person was raised by the locals in that town, they would probably be donning the clothing. It follows logically. They're a part of that culture now. The whole story of Piccolo and Gohan is that of a mentor and student, but it feels more like a father and son.
Gohan was abused by a Namekian for 6 months, he was raised by Goku for 4 years and left in the wilderness on his own for 6 months...he was never raised by a Namekian or really even a student of a Namekian. He spent so much more time with Goku over the series that it wasn't until Super that he ever released a Special Beam Cannon.
Gohan was raised in the culture and he got the credit. All he did was get smacked around by every villian but still got up and stood on buisness like a real G . That’s on Shenron Gang
