      I had. Even the metrics aren’t as accurate as the Apple Watch, I prefer the design and the battery life, and the metrics are good enough for me, I want a general idea of my metrics, in a stylish understated “smart” Watch

      They should come with a sponge bob square Apple Watch maybe it would be 100 %

      Great review! Did you buy this or was it provided for a review?
      I am thinking about buying this as I have other Withings products and I’ve been resisting the Apple Watch …well, because Apple. And the price.
      If you’re trying to get back in shape, or at least become less physically unfit would you recommend this or the Apple Watch?

    I have been using a Withings Steel HR watch for the past 5 years. My next watch is going to be Withings as well. Absolutely love the no nonsense, functional, classy and classic design.

    Looks like a great option for someone who wants to retain the classic watch look and feel without losing out on fitness tracking. Maybe the next version will have a larger or multiple screens?

    I moved away from the Apple watch 5 months ago to limit distractions and enjoy life again. I went to a hybrid watch where I could not stare at notifications. I appreciate more of what's around me and the things I am doing. When I am out, everyone is on their phones, or staring at their watches.

    I purchased this yesterday, and it arrived today, and I couldn't be more pleased. This watch looks and feels amazing. The simplicity of it from an esthetics perspective was exactly what I was looking for, while it intelligently monitors everything a typical smartwatch can; hands down extremely pleased! Thank you again for the review. There aren't that many reviews of this watch -- a good handful, but not as many as the other big names.

    The fitness features on my Apple Watch has been the best of the bunch I’ve tried (ie Fitbit, garmin)…most accurate heart rate monitor and best approach at fitness goals (closing rings). That being said I just picked this one up as an open box for $182. Hope the features are ok. Aesthetically this thing is 🔥.

    i adore it honestly. i got the larger white one. the horizon looked cool too but wasnt really my style

    This was a perfect review.
    I just picked up a Scanwatch for my dad who is on 24/7 O2 supply.
    He obviously won’t be measuring his exercise patterns but he’ll be monitoring his o2 saturation as well as bpm and ekg.
    A perfect Christmas gift for him.

    I actually currently own the Withings steel hr (since 2018) and prior to that, the steel activite. Enjoyed it a lot and will upgrade to whatever comes after the scanwatch as I suspect there will be a new watch end of this year

      Depends on if someone is debating on wanting a fitness tracking features but maybe not so much a suped up smartwatch

    • @mickaelsflow6774
      @mickaelsflow6774 Год назад +1

      Agreed. It's worth comparing BECAUSE it's not the same type of product, but it should be highlighted that it is an hybrid watch, not a smartwatch. The notifications, connectivity to the phone, size of screen and all. That's more smartwatch, phone, connected capabilities.
      For a hybrid watch, there is very little competition. Health part is great, fitness part is decent, watch part is stylish, on time, always usable.

    Apple lost me when they eliminated the ability to have notifications to both the phone and watch.

    • @DJMarcusGrant
      @DJMarcusGrant 9 месяцев назад

      What do you mean?

    • @_jaber1
      @_jaber1 9 месяцев назад

      @@DJMarcusGrant When an iPhones has an apple watch paired to it. Apple no longer allows the iPhone to give you an audio notification via the phone when the phone is locked. You get a visual notification, but audio or a vibration signal is only through the watch. Since you only get one notification tone through the watch that can’t be changed, you have no idea what the actual notification is for or its importance messages vs email vs home security notifications. When the notifications were allowed through both the phone and watch simultaneously you had the ability to set tones through the phone to decipher priorities and not be distracted or disturbed with random junk.

    Don't buy this watch because it's not repairable, not openable !
    I had mine for 2,5years, side button is becoming faulty , apparently it's a common problem, it's not under warranty anymore but they told me it's not repairable , so you pay 300€ for a disposable watch !

    I've had this watch since Nov 2020. Withings have royally screwed up with this one. The back cover is attached with ONLY glue. Many people including me have the problem that the backcover breaks loose with no way to put it back together. This results for many in water damage and having to replace their watch. It is not the question if, but when yours will come loose. Not worth it.
    The design is flawed. The cover needs better glue or be threaded. Withings needs to fix this or warn people of their mistake. I have contacted customer support and am now waiting for a response. You cannot even call them....
