Listen to Morton Feldman's interview with Charles Shere, and Cages interview with Jonathan Cott. The Cott interview is slightly confrontational, which makes the convo quite interesting.
It feels like we are listening to someone in the present time. But it is a time long gone. The last words are very prophetic. New York became very bad and violent in the 1970s. They feel like my contemporaries, there was an overlap in out lives and I could have met snd conversed with them. However, it is is strangely devastating to me that it is not biologically possible for them to be alive now.
sigh... wish there were more of these.
