Jungle by Night @ Jazz à Vienne

They are new, come from Amsterdam and have an average age of barely 18 years old. But they don't really like being reminded of it. Because their Afrobeat with jazz and Ethiopian flavors, funk or rock did not wait for the number of years to release an impressive maturity any more than it needs the label of child prodigies to speak as much to the general public as to the most specialized aficionados. Tony Allen himself, Fela Kuti's rhythmic architect and inventor of the genre's characteristic syncopation, dubbed them at the first meeting: “they are the future of Afrobeat”. And the future is on its way.
